During Freddy's pulmonia tour, we stopped at this lovely waterfront spot. The waterfront view was beautiful, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed a shrimp platter prepared in three ways: grilled, with garlic, and coconut breaded, accompanied by rice, mashed potatoes, and a tasty dipping sauce. My son enjoyed his chicken fingers and fries. The venue also featured many coin-operated toy machines, from which he picked up some unique items like squishies and a rock-paper-scissors fidget spinner. Overall, it was a relaxing and perfect spot for a mid-day lunch!
After lots of research I went to this awesome place while on a cruise. I have never eaten shrimp this good. Garlic,coconut,bacon wrapped with cheese,diablo and fried. Simply delicious. Had a shrimp,tuna and octopus ceviche that was like eating sashimi. All of this and two margaritas for $50! Highlight of the cruise
The low rating here is based on their lack of attention to an allergy. We ordered a Piñeada and specifically asked for no alcohol, and requested it be served as a virgin drink as the drink was for an alcohol allergy. The server noted. We were sitting directly across from the bar with plain view of the two bartenders. I watched them make the drinks and pour a brown liquid into the bottom of the glass. When the drinks arrived to the table, we asked again and the server assured it was a virgin drink. After a few sips, an allergic reaction to alcohol happened. We immediately alerted the server and asked if there was alcohol in it. He still said no. But the alcohol was apparent in the taste and the reaction. The response time moved at a snail's pace and eventually a bottled water was brought to the table with a box of allergy medicine. The server asked the bartenders about it but based on the reactions on their faces and the way they went about their business displayed a lack of care or concern for the situation. Thankfully the allergic reaction wasn't any more serious than it was. But the restaurant staff's response to the whole incident was a major shortfall. To top it off, when the bill arrived, the server still charged for the drink. SMH. A part from the incident, the food looked good, but was average and the service was slow. It took a few minutes before we were acknowledged to place an order, and the food arrived a good 20-25 minutes after ordering. We were taken here on a Pulmonia tour so the restaurant was not our choice and we were a captive audience. I get that this isn't the US where customer service nuances could be different in another country. But I would at least hope in an allergy situation, a staff would know how to immediately react. I definitely would not return here.
I recently went here on my stop during my Royal Caribbean cruise and the food was delicious. I took a taxi from the port but you could potentially walk. The service was fast and very attentive. My table was right by the water which made the experience even better. I highly recommend going here if you are docking during a cruise.

So cheap and it would cost me double in CA with these views. Our server spoke very little English but the menu is translated making it very easy to order for anyone who doesn't speak Spanish. They have complimentary WiFi, clean restrooms and tons of parking. You'll mostly see locals here which says a lot since they know the best spots! If you happen to take a cruise like I did it's also a very short 10 min walk from port! Take that walk, you'll love this place!
The family and I were on a tour of Mazatlan and our driver Omar recommended this place since Mazatlan is known for their shrimp. The restaurant is on the water with a nice view. We were seated quickly. I have always wanted to try raw shrimp cooked with lime. I ordered a beer stuffed with shrimp while the wife ordered shrimp cocktail with half cooked and half raw shrimp. This meal was AWESOME!!!!!! I really enjoyed the raw shrimp over the cooked shrimp. Had a nice firm texture but not firm like a cooked shrimp. I am totally hooked. Listen everyone on a cruise or a tour, you must stop at this restaurant. You will enjoy great food that the locals enjoy. I can't wait to come back!
On a cruise ship that stopped at Mazatlan. After touring with our driver, he recommended La Puntilla which is very close to the cruise terminal. This is a very spacious waterfront restaurant with a lot of tables and wonderful view. The place is clean and pleasant. Restrooms are also very clean. The four of us shared a Zarandeado Fish KG (Fish of the Day) which was a whole Red Snapper and a Grilled Seafood 700G which included Grilled and Breaded Fish Fillet, Stuffed, Coconut, and Breaded Shrimp, Diablo Sauce Shrimps, Governor Tacos, and Empanadas. Food was amazing and plentiful. We were each given a plate of salad with a scoop of rice. That was plenty of good, fresh seafood. Two of us ordered drinks, a Pina Colada and a Mojito Tradicional. Servers speak good English and are friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable for American standard. All the food and drinks with gratuities came to about US$85. All four of us were very full and satisfied. read more
Food was good. Service was lacking. Open eatery and pigeons are around. If you dislike birds you won't like it here. Lots of seating, live music (for a fee) and great views. Chips and salsa is served. The salsa is not hot and they never did offer more. Fried were cold but the burger was warm. The tacos were hot and had really good flavor. read more

Stopped by for lunch on Freddies Pulmonia tour. Cute restaurant with friendly people and delicious food!! Everything was fresh! The views all around were beautiful. We had the shrimp and octopus ceviche, seafood tostada and the mixed seafood cocktail. The prices were very reasonable! read more

Margarita prices are great as well as the coconut shrimp. Tuna sashimi was disappointing this time. It was very fishy and drenched in too much soy sauce perhaps to cover up the overly fishy taste. Service was ok. Nice to be right on the water which makes for a nice ambiance. read more

This was a decent place in Mazatlan that was very cheap. Pacifico was literally $1 so there is nothing wrong with that! We ordered coconut shrimp, chicken tenders, and guacamole. Shrimp was really good and service was prompt. I certainly wouldn't say this is a nice restaurant, even though our driver described it in that exact manner. You do have a good view of the water and various excursion boats. You can also walk to the cruise ships afterwards and it is safe and relatively clean. read more

We asked the staff on our cruise ship where they like to go and this was one of their favorites. Free wifi and inexpensive food. What they didn't say is that it has an extensive menu and very authentic dishes too. We tried a guajillo chile shrimp dish that was like nothing I've had before. It had diced up mushrooms in a red sauce that wasn't too spicy but packed quite a flavor punch. The shrimp were awesome too. We had a couple of shrimp tacos too. We preferred the tacos in Cabo at Gardenias because of the toppings. Here you might have to ask for salsas which we didn't realize. But the taco shell is freshly made and the star of the meal was guajillo shrimp. 4 beers and the above totaled 22 bucks. Plus, they have free wifi and a view of the water. read more

Delicious Food, awesome drinks! Great location right in the marina, within a very short walking distance to where the cruise ships dock/port in Mazatlan. We ordered ceviche which had fresh caught tuna, shrimp and octopus. It was so fresh and Amazing! (see photo). Also had fresh fried shrimp stuffed with melted cheese and rolled with crispy bacon on the outside (see photo). WOW! the food was bursting with flavor! we had a few Pacifico beers and Paloma mixers...which were so refreshing! Now here comes the kicker.........The prices were excellent, I guarantee these prices are comparable to ordering a meal at at your local burger joint, but here you get fresh seafood and excellent drinks! read more

Had the whole, fried fish, was absolutely beautiful. Cheap beer, amazing, huge pina collada for about $3.50US. A beautiful meal for two with 4 Coronas & a PC for $30, what a bargain. Lovely harbour view and not too far from the Cruise Terminal. Taxi drivers waiting outside to take you back. read more

We drove from Culiacán and were ready to devour our meal we ordered a shrimp platter with like 5-6 varieties of shrimp with came with rice and beans , we also had agua chile and signature micheladas for a hot summer day , all I can say it was one of the best flavorful mariscos I ever had in Mexico! If I could give it more stars I would! read more

So we are ON our way to Baja and stopped in Mazatlan as this was our port to take the ferry to La Paz-. Our tour guide suggested this place. BEST AGUACHILES EVER! EVER EVER EVER!! We also had a campechana coctel. That was very good but heavy on the cucumber side. Lots of shrimp tho. We also shared tacos gobernador de camarón which had Chile pasilla. I've never had them like that. They were delicious. The salsa they serve with tostadas was also very good. We decide we would be back.. based on the food and the malecón and beautiful weather! Oh and they have a Banda playing which is typical of Mazatlan. BTW this is shore side right next to the ferry dock. You can't go wrong. read more

Very good fresh seafood! Extremely close to the Ship terminals for those traveling on cruise ships. The oysters were amazing, micheladas very food (mixture of clamato, Beer, salt, chile, lemon juice) definitely a good place to eat! You'll find music there as well going around the tables but usually you'll find the locals keep them playing SO you'll enjoy it without paying for it! Jaja read more
