Really enjoy this restaurant, my husband and I come here often. The waitresses are all really friendly. Everything taste delicious.

I won't be back, the place is super run down and dirty. The waiter serving us only wants to speak Spanish. The person I was with only speaks English, I am bilingual. I placed my order in Spanish and when it came to their order it's like she didn't know what he was saying and kept looking at me to translate. If you ask he something in English she would talk back in Spanish. Later on I noticed a couple at another table ( only English speaking) placing there order with her she knew full English and was taking there order just fine. Refills of water never came. Poor service, in my opinion especially when you ask for a refill and never get it. read more

This is my 3rd time visiting the restaurant and truly, it's amazing how highly Fresnian's talk about this place? 1st things 1st, the servers do take care of you. Period! At least mine do, maybe it's my dimples lol. However, the food and beverages are a different story. Last Friday was the Blake Shelton concert (3.3.2017) so i decided to take the family and I to a nice seafood dinner.... and drinks :) The server immediately issued us a seat and took our beverage order. I ordered a Caguama Familar and the wife ordered a Tecate Caguama with the seafood fixings on and around it. She brought my beer within 2 minutes and my wife's seafood/Beer within several minutes after. My beer was Luke warm (gross). My wife's beer, was just as warm but we didn't want to complain. Knowing I wanted to enjoy all 32oz of Corona, I asked her for a bucket of ice (Picture 10) to at least get it chilled under 80 degrees. My shrimp cocktail came out and it was also warm. Really? I will say, it was loaded, I mean loaded with shrimp! I lost count of the prawn count. However, warm shrimp cocktail is not my cup of tea. The oysters on my wife platter were so gross and filled with the shell, I felt as I was eating plaster off the wall. The total damage for the evening was just over $60. Meh, me think not! The other two times I visited this place (One Sunday after) and Father's Day 2016 ; it was so hot in there it was disgusting. I only visit this place for Seafood and seize the day, both times the food seafood was mediocre and beers warm. The men's bathroom was worsen since last June (Father's day) so expect to see 2 missing Urinals and spray paint graffiti on the East wall??? WTH? Way too pricey for my expectations. I asked the young man in the meat department at Food 4 Less where he thought there was good Mexican Seafood, he suggested this place (I love Las Adam on Olive) so I considered this a dare. I must say, it right up there with some of my favorites, the service was terrific, more than one server presented themselves for service, that was good in itself. I still enjoy this place but not as much as I used to. The food is great but the service fell off. My coworker and I came for lunch and she found a hair in the bean dip. Instead of instantly replacing it, the waitress insisted the hair came from my coworker. As a server, you shouldn't do that. I'd much rather get my food to go now. read more

This review is for my take out experience. I called in my order for camarones rancheros. It was ready within 10 minutes as promised. $17.52 before tip, ouch! Kinda pricey for this part of town. When it was handed to me there was a pouch of juice at the bottom of the bag. I carefully placed it on my back seat to not make a mess. It wasn't leaking but I was concerned it would. When I got to work and dug in I was pleasantly surprised with the flavors, very good! The presentation of my food was kind of sloppy but hey it's take out. I had about 7-8 medium size shrimp, half plate of salad and about one cup of rice and beans. 4 corn tortillas on the side. Overall my experience was ok, not bad or great. My family and I stopped by for dinner after attending a parade earlier that day. Everyone was craving Mexican food and we just so happened to be near the restaurant. Service was great, the restaurant itself was clean as were the bathrooms. The food was okay. I had enchiladas de camaron and there really isn't much to say. They were satisfactory but they definitely weren't the best I've had. My plate also came with a side of rice and beans which were okay as well. There are also musicians who perform Spanish music that go to each table and ask if guests would like a song in exchange for a small fee. I guess it depends on what you like. Some might not like to be bothered while they're having their meal and others would really like this. When this placed opened it was amazing. I order Habanero shrimp tostada, I received a few shrimp with onions & cucumber with NO FLAVOR. Shrimp tasted like it was boiled in plain water. Order Asada tacos for kids, it's meat cooked in oil again NO FLAVOR. Last order was Shrimp a La Diabla had a heavy taste of Heinz tomato ketchup with a hint of chili. The chips and tostada were good. Tortilla is home made, awesome. Chips were warm and fresh with beans and salsa on side. Michelada was made perfectly and the shrimp all around it was tasty. I was super disappointed. Back then it was super popular when it first opened. Well fast forward to 2019 at it SUCKED! My daughter ordered a kids meal hamburger and I had ordered Camarones Aladiabla. My daughters hamburger bun turned out to be hard. I could not bite into it what so ever. My Camarones "Aladiabla" which means there supposed to be very spicy turned out to be very sweet almost like barbecue sauce. I got the coconut shrimp and it was sooo good! I hadn't had shrimp like that before and I encourage everyone to try them. The sauce was a bit spicy but super good ! The corn tortillas were hand made as well. Huge plus !!! Nice decor but the table was kinda sticky. read more

We finally went to pay and they told us that they had to charge us for the 3 tacos that they forgot...either we pay for them or we wait for them. This restaurant is very authentic. They serve hand made tortillas and have an amazing menudo. I have tried many menudos and this one qualifies as a top fresh menudo with clean meat. The customer service is excellent. The manager, Abraham, goes above and beyond to make sure you get the experience. I went for the first time with my family on a Sunday afternoon. The ambiance was great. To our surprise there's a mariachi playing in Sunday's. Great place to have a birthday celebration. The micheladas are amazing!!! I recommend this place 100% read more
