This place is very "neat" (no pun intended) it's a great spot to have some drinks with friends and socialize. The service is great and the servers attend to you quickly and with lots of attention. If you end up going say hi to EJ he is a great worker and will tend to your every needs, also knows how to make some of the greatest drinks there. First time coming to this bar and I'm a fan. What a lovely bar and it's huge. Tons an inside seating. It looks like they recently expanded this year. Super chill spot with dimmed lighting. Great for groups since they have some seatings that are for 2 people but also for larger groups. The drinks here are exceptionally! Beautiful crafted, but it's not all looks. It actually tastes good! My friend's matchatini was delicious! A great balance of matcha. My mocktail was soooo good. Just a bit too much ice but the drink itself was very good. I would order that again. It's a vibe, for sure. Very aesthetic, very spacious. Plenty of seats, and it filled up nicely. We were there a little earlier than the night crowd so we had a bit of space and "quiet" time to ourselves in the back for quite some time, took our pics and whatnot. They have a lot of areas that would make for great photo ops for sure. We all ordered different drinks. White Lotus, Havana Mule, & Matchatini. I think we all unanimously agreed that the Matchatini was the best out of the bunch but they were all pretty good... the White Lotus being the strongest out of the bunch. Our waitress was very nice as well and suggested the Matchatini to the birthday girl, which she was already eyeing so that sealed the deal. I don't remember any food options on the menu, for those wondering... we had just came from dinner so that didn't matter to us but it's good to know for next time. The music... was interesting lol. Not something I'd want to listen to all the time but the DJ enjoyed himself. I hope that was just that night and not the music choice every night... Overall, we enjoyed our time here. stopped by on a friday night for a nightcap. the bouncer checked IDs at the door and then we were seated. flagged a waiter down to order. i had the silk road and my friend had the alchemist. both tasted good and had nice presentation, especially the alchemist. the alcohol was in a shot glass and had to be poured into the cup, at which point it changed color. a show and a drink - wowie! there was a live dj. most people were sitting, lounging and chatting while there was a small group moving, shaking and dancing. overall, a fun addition to fresno's night life scene. read more

A sweet addition to the ever-evolving downtown Fresno. Located on Broadway next to south of Shaw, this used to house the all natural wine bar Saint Joaquin. I'm impressed with what the owner has done with the space, he's kept the aesthetic but has elevated it and also expanded the space as well so there's more seating and wiggle room. When you walk in, you will be seated by a hostess, you can choose between a table or a booth, we chose a booth. The couch was comfortable and the girl took our drink order therefore no need to go up to the bar to order like prior. The Matchatini is their signature and for good reason. I do not know any bars offering such a cocktail. It was frothy and creamy w the right amount of sweetness and alcohol ratio. My next favorite is the Bianca- a nice spin on a classic espresso martini with notes of orange and chocolate! Unique and unlike other similar cocktail lounge offerings. Since it was 6pm we were tended to and had no long wait times. Bathroom is only a single- I can only imagine the line when it's peak hours. I would suggest expanding that since there's plenty of space to do so. read more

First time here and I'm surprised it's right next to South of Shaw Brewery! I was next door for a yelp event and totally missed this spot. It's very cute and cozy but more lax on just sitting and drinking. Not really a dancing club scene. Just drinks and a chat with the girls or book club? Never knew this place existed lol came for a friends birthday, they had a private room in the back which I don't recommend because you're just stuck in this closed corner with the door opened, barely hear the music and it's just away from the crowd. This place gets packed! We were there on a Thursday night. I like the chill vibe, loud music playing, lounge type feel but it got a little overwhelming. Felt crowded and hectic, if you have social anxiety I don't think this would be the place for you. I do like their drink options and the look of the place though. We were eventually moved to the front since we had about 10 plus people. I do think this would be a nice place for you and a friend to just chill and have a drink. read more

My family and I went on a weekday to celebrate a friend's birthday. This was my first time there! First thing I seen as I was walking into the door is the bright neon sign of their business logo. As soon as you walk in, there was a bouncer who checked our IDs, he didn't really seem welcoming but the servers were lovely! We came in a party of 10+ so space wise was frustrating at first but I was satisfied that we were able to be accommodated. Remember that they do charge gratuity for big parties! Had a 2 day bender here and honestly this place is cute. Went on a Saturday and Sunday and it wasn't very crowded but I really enjoyed the vibe, and overall quality of my drinks. Service was decent. I will say that the music can get loud sometimes. I honestly love when the drinks are hitting and the music adds that airy feel good energy into the room. However, at times I found myself talking very loud just to have a conversation to the people in my group. Love me some Drake! The music was great. They have a lot of different seating areas. Whether you're there with one friend, a date or a group, they will seat you. They check ID at the door so have that ready before u get in. We got a private room but that room was ass. It was closed off. No tv, no speaker in there and can barely hear the music. And for our big group, it definitely did not fit us all in there. Maybe like 6-8 people depending on everyone's size. They gave us the spring 2026 menu and I really like what they have to offer. A lot of the drinks sound good. They ended up moving us cus we didn't fit in there. First they kind of spread us out in two groups but still nearby cus the place was lowkey packed. Then lucky for us a group was leaving and they kindly let us know we could just sit there so now we all one big group. Service was great. I didn't have to get up at all to order a drink. They came to us. I got the riviera bloom. The drink was aesthetically pleasing.. The taste was okay. I could've went with a different drink but I wanted to try a grapefruit drink. The matchatini sounds good but my stomach wasn't feeling the best that night for that kind of drink. All the drinks we ordered looked pretty. The service was a little slow but there was only one girl at first (kudos to her because she was ON IT) The drinks were really good! Coffee with alcohol? Definitely a vibe!! I had the pleasure of visiting Neat & Noir in December where there was festive decor and holiday drinks! My partner and I got two rounds. All four were delicious craft cocktails! Loved the presentation and creativity with the four totalling to almost $80 after tax + tip. You wait at the front to be seated by a bartender, where they serve you at your table. There were only two bartenders (and no host) the night I came. We waited about 5 mins at the door, about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and another 15-20 minutes before our drinks came out. Sadly, there was no water station either so we waited a while for waters. We still enjoyed the drinks but would love to see more help at this business! read more

Visited Neat & Noir on a Saturday. We were able to find seating and it was a full house. The place was cute. Each of us ordered a drink. The drinks weren't memorable and they were expensive for not much alcohol or liquid in general. To go to the bathroom you go through a hallway that looks like a break room. Overall, I would not recommend this place. You have to walk up to the bar to order your drink even if you're at a table. Their marketing team has taken really nice pictures to almost make it look better than what you actually see when you go. Unfortunately the place is very small and only truly accommodating for 2 people. Nobody greets you. The owner was there and was talking to his friends. I thought maybe he would check on people visiting or welcoming people but nobody was doing so. This was a miss for me. 100% Overhyped. read more

They have couches , booth type seating and table with chairs. We ordered a couple drinks. The Matchatini was by far my favorite. If you like sweet the Slow Burn is perfect. Had a great experience here! It does depend on how busy it is but we had a fairly large group and got seated pretty quickly. The room is packed with different types of seating-- from couches to chairs to even poufs. The walls are lined with lots of neon lights which looks cool for photos! Service was great; staff was lovely and drinks took about 10 minutes to come out with how packed it was. My group agreed that not only were the drinks strong, but they also tasted great! What I got: The Alchemist (5/5): I mean... the photo speaks for itself-- presentation is already a solid 5. This drink was also color changing AND tasted great! I would totally suggest this if you like your cocktails on the sweeter side. Really big fan of Neat & Noir! I don't usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at Neat and Nor last night was extremely disappointing. I brought two friends with me and from the start, service was off. We were seated, and the server left without taking our drink order. She came back, asked if someone had taken it, we said no, and then she left again. We waited nearly 10 minutes with no help, and I even saw that same server clock out and leave. I eventually had to go up to another waitress to ask for help, but she kept interrupting me while I tried to explain the situation and brushed it off. When she finally came to take our order, she forgot what all three of us ordered and had to come back and ask again. My drink was also very delayed. Things only got worse when we asked to close out. We told her clearly we wanted to pay, but she disappeared for another 20minutes and then came back asking if we were "doing okay," as if we hadn't already asked. Even after reminding her, she still didn't close us out. During that time, she was singing karaoke instead of helping us, and had someone else eventually handle our check. To make things more uncomfortable, she kept looking over and making faces, which felt very unprofessional. I've worked in customer service for years, so I try to be understanding--but this experience was frustrating from start to finish. We were patient and polite the entire time, and it felt like we were completely ignored. Unfortunately, this was one of the most unprofessional dining experiences I've had. I was really impressed by their big cocktail menu they have so many options and lots of cute drinks, but as you can imagine with 6 guests and 3 menus we were having trouble deciding on which drinks to order. About 5 minutes later a couple came into the same sitting area we were in, they waited about 10 minutes and were quickly seated in the main establishment. We were all ready to order drink and the waitress never came back. At this point we had been waiting about 45 minutes leading up to this time the waitress came in one time asking if we were ready to order. Like i previously mentioned it was difficult to decide in such a short time with limited menus. As you can imagine we were all pretty much over being a SMALL HOT room! So decided to leave!!! As we're walking out we seen the same couple that previously sitting in the same room as us. They were sitting in LARGE AREA!! They had 2 giant couches that would easily fit 6-8 people!! I always get there early when they open 5pm. I haven't been there in the evening. My only experience has been before it gets crowded. We plan on having our next BookClub meet here. Overhyped IMO Looks fun from photos, but the actual experience not so much It was overcrowded but we were still let in, definitely wasn't room for us so we were left just standing around ... uncomfortable. I think they need to manage the space better. There were many tables that had people at them with unused chairs that could have been made for another group. On top of that, the drinks were not good. I was expecting craft cocktails and that is definitely not vibe. The drinks look fun but didn't taste fun... like a dive bar trying to be trendy. Love the coffee inspired cocktails too. Totally reminds me of a Starbucks reserve experience. Definitely recommend their Negroni Svegliato perfect after dinner drink to kick off the night. I would've preferred to close out the tab and tip at the end ‍ Seemed like missed opportunity when no one checked-in at all. I would've had to line up again to order more drinks or ask for water. Also saw staff offer an empty table to move some guests. However, he only cleared the empty glasses and did not wipe down the table. One of the owners took up a table to work on his laptop while it was steadily getting busier. Drinks |4/5| I enjoyed my drinks. Slow Burn delivered on heat but not so much on smokiness. The Alchemist was definitely more botanical-forward than floral. I would like to see more range in their spirit choices for their house cocktails but perhaps it would've been more appropriate to speak directly with the bartender. Ambiance |3/5| Ultimately your experience depends on if you get a seat and where your table is. Either plan accordingly or send someone to claim a table beforehand. There are a few tables/couches for big groups and more small tables for small groups. Overall, the space leans heavily on neon lighting and loud music for atmosphere.
