My daughter and I had lunch here, and we absolutely loved it! It's so calm and the employees are nice and welcoming, the ceviche is so good! The menus prices you can't beat, I keep telling everyone about this place! If you're looking to enjoy some yummy mariscos and a chill vibe with some music this is definitely a place to check out

I love the spot if I lived in El Monte I would eat here at least once a week. You have to try their mixer spacey shrimp garlic shrimp shrimp cocktails and I'll watch this. Great prices, customer service fresh food, and always very friendly. besides I love supporting small family businesses.

Decided to look for a positive Mariscos spot in El monte here after my vehicle was done being serviced at Longo Toyota. Came in on a Friday evening while it wasn't packed and ordered two items (small Campechana & 1 Fish taco) which both were really good. The fish taco was freshly fried with great sauces added not needing more. Do wish the tortilla chips were house made to pair well with the spicy salsa roja. Will come back for sure. Make sure to bring cash as a tip since after swiping the card reader it doesn't allow to add more FYI.

Decided to give this place a try since Yelp said it was ok but was highly disappointed. The staff are really young and are clueless when it comes to customer service. When I walked in with my party (3 total) there wasn't a place to sit, not because it was busy but because they hadn't cleaned the tables after other people left. One of the employees kids was sleeping in the only clean booth. The place is kinda dingy but I usually don't mind as long as the food is good. It wasn't. I got a fish taco and a shrimp tostada and immediately wished I would have made it at home. The ceviche was still raw and purple, you could barely taste any lemon. Tasted like bottled lemon juice. Even with the shrimp not being cooked in the lemon I still don't mind (love sushi) however the shrimp was so mushy you could tell it wasn't fresh. Needless to say I was unimpressed. Hopefully the business sees this as constructive criticism and can work on their shortcomings. As it stands I will not be coming back. I asked the other two people in my party if they would come back and they both agreed this would be a one and done thing. Oh also, they don't give you free water you have to buy bottles. With that being said one positive is their beer is only $5/ bottle Edit: owner decided to reach out (pictured) I guess I hurt his feelings. Compa, quien te pide regalado? Esa basura ni aunque fuera gratis. No gracias.

This place is amazing! Fresh food and a great environment. I've never came here and regretted it. The service is second to none. You always feel welcomed here. Fish and shrimp tacos are my usual go-to but today the shrimp ceviche was calling my name. Come support small business. These guys are doing it right.

My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place. We believe the gentleman with the forearm tattoo is the owner or manager or both, but he is very sweet & polite every time we come in and constantly checks in on us. Aside from that, the food here is amazing. I remember the first time I tried the tostada de ceviche de camaron, it was an indescribable experience in taste. Its all I get from here and will keep bringing me back.

I wish I knew his name, but there's a guy there (shorter height and clean haircut) who gives some of the best customer service I've experienced. Super friendly, accommodating, and genuinely wants to make sure you get exactly what you're craving. One thing to note--there's a menu, but no pictures or brochures, so you kind of have to know what you want or ask. Luckily, he's more than happy to walk you through options. Nachos - Exactly how I remember nachos should be. The chips are those pre-made round ones (like Tostitos Rounds), but still crunchy and satisfying. The meats taste freshly cooked, with a nice sprinkle of veggies. And the best part--they use that classic nacho cheese and sour cream combo. The kind of cheese you'd get at 7-Eleven or a Dodgers game. Not the healthiest, but sometimes I want what I want. Tacos - Simple and classic. You really can't go wrong here. I've tried different meats and they've all been solid. Wet Burritos - Great balance of rice, beans, meat, and veggies. I've had the chicken, carne asada, and al pastor--all delicious. It also comes with a side of lettuce and sliced avocado, which is a nice touch. Side Bar - Fresh radishes, pickled jalapeños, lime, and lemon. Everything tastes fresh and adds a lot to the meal. What really stands out is how flexible they are with orders. I asked for nacho cheese on the side so my chips wouldn't get soggy--no problem. Extra salsa? As much as you want. Not sure if you want red or green salsa on your wet burrito? Get both on the side. They make it easy to customize exactly how you like it. Overall, great food, but even better service. This is the kind of spot that I don't want to review so I can keep it for myself.

The meat was flavorful, and the Al Vapor taco tortillas were super soft and tender, which made the tacos even better. The service was also great, staff were friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was nice and relaxed, making it a great spot to stop by and enjoy some tacos. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other meat options!

But the last two times, I've been getting some other kind of meat or a tiny tiny amount of asada meat mixed with the other meats (they have cheek, lips, and head meat) which I don't prefer. The "asada" tacos not only taste completely different, the texture is different, and it looks like shredded stewy meat. It's also somehow drier and less juicy. I also saw the cook chopping up the flap steaks before I ordered it and that was not what I got. I thought the last time was a mix-up but now I think they thought I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. 5 stars for the real asada and Jamaica drink 3 stars for whatever I got the last 2 times

We ended up getting the rib eye aguachile as a appetizer and they definitely do not care about portions. It was a huge cut but the sauce is what takes it over the top. The other plates were Camarones Al Mojo basically garlic shrimp with rice and beans. Soooo much flavor and keep in mind they come with home made tortillas. Lastly we ended up with the trio ceviche. Each definitely had there own thing going. Must try. Service was quick and efficient will definitely come back to try other plates.

It took forever for the waiter to bring us water, and he didn't even bring silverware until after our food arrived. We actually had to ask if we could get some so we could eat. There was only one person doing everything, and at most there were three tables occupied, so I can't imagine what the service would be like when this place is actually busy. We also waited quite a while for our food to come out. The cook/chef definitely wasn't in any hurry. Maybe this is a great bar, because I see it has some high ratings, but as a restaurant experience, we were not impressed. We ordered the fried fish tacos, which I had heard good things about. You get four pieces of fish on one taco, but at $9 for a single taco, I just don't think it's worth it. The ribeye steak and shrimp taco had plenty of ribeye, but very little shrimp. It was around $30-something for one taco, and it didn't come with rice or beans. I'll let you look at the pictures and decide if you think it's worth the price. The trio tacos were supposed to include al pastor, but they were out of it, so they substituted a shrimp taco. That came with rice and beans, but unfortunately the beans were so cold that the cheese hadn't even melted. It was literally sitting there in a chunk. I also ordered the whole grilled fish. The fish itself was tasty, but at $33 for the meal, I wouldn't order it again at that price. Overall, the food had flavor, but the experience just wasn't worth the $95 we spent for four people. The combination of slow service, food taking too long, cold beans, small portions for the price, and the lack of attention from the waiter really took away from the meal. For me, this is a 3-star experience at best. I wouldn't come back, and I probably wouldn't go out of my way to try their other locations either. There are just too many places where I feel you get better food, service, and value for your money.
