I stopped by on my way home, so only got to go, but the ambience of the restaurant was very nice. Reminded me of the times I went to travel to Peru with my family the father and son ownership. You can tell the love of food when you eat it.

It's a fast casual dining place. Walk up to the counter and place your order. Menu board is available. Son ordered the hot Fuego fries. I chose the Honey chicken and shrimp chaufa rice plate as recommended by Ignacio. Food was delivered to the table. The fuego fries were good, the honey chicken and shrimp were a tad sweet but delicious. Wheelchair accessible, parking is free and readily available.

Absolutely Fuego! Highly recommend for anyone who loves FLAVOR and Flame cooked goodness. Found this place after visiting a nearby garden nursery and everything we ordered hit the spot. Family owned, 2 brothers and their dad. Family recipes mixed with cooking learned from growing up there and going back to refine recipes over the years. Service was kind, warm & welcoming. Ambience is like stepping into your favorite corner cafe. I wish I lived closer! We ordered: Chimichurri Steak & Chorizo Lomo Saltado Pizza Chicha Morada Cilantro Cheese Empanada We ordered 6 more empanadas to take home. Sharing this with my family and friends. GOTTA come back over.

Pretty good for the area! I was recommended by a friend and decided to stop by, I loved that the staff was super nice and the food was fresh. I got the saltado plate ($20)and my friend got the lomo saltado ($16) but somehow it looked like the lomo saltado portion wise was more worth it than the plate. If you want to grab a quick bite, I recommend doing doordash pickup or call ahead because this place is sloow. I walked in with three people already waiting for the food, and my dish came out in ~30 minutes which is pretty long. Will try again next time though!

Great Service, Amazing food, restroom for customers. menu has a large variety of choices and their meats and fries are always delicious. The honey chicken and shrimp fries have great flavor but I would have preferred a bit less sauce. Very bold flavors and heavy on the sauce. The spicy salsa and sauce on the side is very fragrant and good spice level

The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor--every bite was delicious. The service was just as great, super attentive and welcoming. Love how they have a variety of sauces, all of them were tasty and added great flavor to the food.

    Lomo saltado with fries

Amazing Peruvian lomo saltado with crispy papas fritas! The service was also excellent. I ordered a maracuyá drink, but it was a little too sweet for my taste, and the server was super kind and flexible about exchanging it for a Coke. Great food and great customer service -- definitely recommend!

First off been here before and had no issues (other than longer wait than normal for a place that is so small). But this time clearly they were struggling to get food out during a Monday lunch shift. About 30-40 minutes for my food man brings the wrong dish I ordered but I'm hungry so I eat it anyway. Food is not even hot (meaning it's been sitting) But then I notice a piece of meat completely raw. Good thing I decided to cut into my meat even though I already started eating it. Other customers were already in the place longer than I had been there and still waiting for food. They're visibly upset and confused as to what is going on in the kitchen. I'm an understanding person so I'm not trying to grill the guy as he's frantically pacing when he comes out of the back area. (Which he would be gone for long periods of time) But then I tell him and show the piece of meat and he struggles to explain that the meat is grilled delicately (I guess is what he's trying to explain) but then offers no sorry or takes responsibility for the mess that is his restaurant. And he runs back to the kitchen not even a care in the world about the raw meat. Picture below you tell me if I'm wrong about the meat being cooked. Luckily it was only one piece (I found) but who knows I already ate some of the food. I had nothing but good food experiences prior to this time. But the lack of ownership and responsibility for uncooked food should never be excused. Eat at your own risk here. No telling what the back kitchen looks like but plenty of fruit flies in the front suggesting exposed food in the area.

We were craving Peruvian food and were glad to have Fuego bookmarked. My husband and I shared the lomo saltado and a bacon tiki burger. The saltado was a delicious mix of beef, onions, tomatoes, and crispy fries, while the bacon tiki burger, made with ground beef, bacon, and grilled pineapple, was packed with flavor. We also split some cheese and beef empanadas with our friends. It was definitely more food than we could handle, but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Luckily, the empanadas were just as good the next day after a quick spin in the air fryer. To wash it all down, we each got a large cup of chicha morada, one of our favorite Peruvian drinks. I'm already eyeing the wings for our next visit. The chef was kind enough to stop by and say hi, and they offer some homemade spicy sauces. Just be warned, they pack a serious kick!

3.5 stars it what I give it. Over priced for what you get my fries barley had any meat, and the meat it had was chewy and grisly. Mama inks does it way better and for a better price. I also got a stake and it was ok, again quality for the price. Flavor is there change that to better quality and more meat or some meat not all fries then this could easily be a 4.5-5

I ordered a salteado plate to go, but unfortunately the meat was very tough and difficult to chew. I called to ask about a possible refund, and while I understand policies can vary, I felt my concern wasn't fully addressed. This wasn't a matter of personal taste--the meat was not really edible. Because of this, we weren't able to eat the meal, and even the empanadas had the same issue, so the food went to waste. I completely understand that if I simply don't like something, that's my responsibility. However, in this case, I was disappointed because the quality made it hard to enjoy the food at all. I hope this feedback is helpful.

It's Friday night and we planned a dinner at another Peruvian place nearby but found out it was closed! After a quick check on Yelp I saw this place and it had great reviews. The place was in a small plaza next to another restaurant but this place stands out in decoration and colors of fire! It is very cute and my toddler did enjoy the photos of the fire mascot. Upon entering, they had table seating that booth setting meaning the seats were attached to the table. So as a group of 6, we had to split into two tables but luckily we were there and had our choice of tables to pick. The menu isn't very large which helps us decide what we wanted to try. We ordered 2 Lomo Saltado Chaufa, Chimichurri Steak and Chorizo, chicken wings (honey garlic pepper) and fries, lomo saltado fuego style, 6 garlic cheese empanadas, and 3 cans of Coke Zero. We ordered at the front and the staff was very helpful in helping us out with all the questions we had. We were also served ice water on cups and straws. The food came in waves but they looked amazing! Everything was delicious, we sort of did family style but the only one I didn't get to try was the chicken wings, the table that had it ate them all before I got to try them! The fries were still crispy and fluffy. The meat was flavorful, wish there was more on the dish but still great. The sauce was very different from what I'm used to and refreshing. They also gave us bottled sauces but they were very spicy! The nonspicy sauce was good, glad I got that one from the other table. We ate everything until my toddler woke up from his nap. He was hungry but is a very picky eater so we asked the staff if they can make a plain chicken nugget with fries. They don't have nuggets but they can cut up a chicken patty, and that worked out great! My toddler ate most of it! Great place, glad we came. We might come back when we want some Peruvian cuisine again. Restrooms are in the back and relatively clean! The lock on the door is a bit difficult to use but locks it!

"I've tried many Peruvian dishes, but this place was the best. The Peruvian green sauce (Aji Verde) was especially delicious, so I even bought some to take home. Highly recommended!"

The menu had so many different options that I had a hard time deciding between the soups, traditional meat dishes, and pasta selections. I ended up ordering a pasta dish that surprisingly had an Asian-inspired flavor profile. It reminded me a bit of Kung Pao chicken with linguini, thanks to the red and green bell peppers, onions, and a nice kick of spice. It was delicious, especially with the house-made green salsa they served on the side. I also ordered a side of rice and beans, and although I passed on the plantains since I was dining solo, the server kindly brought me a sample, which was such a thoughtful touch. This is a cozy, mom-and-pop, hole-in-the-wall spot with a mix of two- and four-top tables. Parking was easy, and I found a space right in front. I stopped by just before closing, and there were still a few people enjoying dinner. Expect to spend around $30 per person. Overall, I enjoyed the food and friendly service, and I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

It was a hole in the wall and had relatively good reviews for lomo saltado so I had my hopes up thinking the food would be amazing. My chief complaint is that it took almost 30 minutes for my single order to come out because the kitchen was busy prioritizing to-go/delivery orders. Had I known this, I wouldn't have eaten inside the restaurant; I would've actually gotten it delivered. My next complaint is that no receipt was given as customer copy, and no itemized receipt when asking for tip. The total for this dish came out to almost $30 including tip, and the waitress/cashier didn't mention the lunch special at all. I brought it up to ask about it after I paid, to which she replied, "Oh, you probably don't want that cuz it's smaller. But it comes with a drink and soup." The fact that she assumed I wouldn't want the lunch special (when I'm there at lunch time) that would've been a much better deal at $17.99 and perfect portion size for me, and yet charged me for the regular dinner price was a bit presumptuous. It's also weird that they would ask for a tip (which I gave anyway) before I even received my meal. It's less about the price but the principle! But I was just hungry and needed to go to my next appointment, so I didn't argue, but again, the food took way too long to come out so I had to ask her about it after the 25 minute mark. Food came out after 30 minutes, and I had to get up and ask for the aji verde sauce when most restaurants usually serve it to you with the meal. The aji verde sauce which is really important to me to complement this dish, unfortunately missed the mark as well. I really missed Sol Inka's aji verde sauce that's well-rounded in every way. Lomo saltado should be balanced between the meat, tomatoes, onions, and fries, but it was definitely heavy on the fries with only two pieces of tomatoes. I would've preferred more meat too if it's the regular plate, but it felt like a fries dump. I wouldn't have had complaints if this were the lunch special order. Anyways, if you don't mind the headache & having to be extra proactive to get what you want, this is the place to be, but it's definitely not my cup of tea. $30 for a sub-par lomo saltado where well over half of it is fries does not sit well with me, considering I waited 30 minutes for my meal. Unfortunately, I'd just have to stick to Sol Inka for my regular Peruvian food fix, as the flavor is more robust there anyways. Oh, and Sol Inka also gives complimentary warm bread and butter, while there isn't anything like that here.

The food was good, but the service was especially frustrating. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone, in both English and Spanish, trying to process payment, which lead to nowhere till I had to drive myself to the restaurant to swipe the card manually. When it was time to pick up the order, the restaurant could not spare anyone to help bring the food to our car, despite it being a large catering order and the pickup taking place on a very busy avenue. What was most disappointing was the lack of concern or willingness to offer any assistance. The food arrived late for our event as a result. While the food was good, the poor service has made me reconsider ordering catering from them again, returning as often, and recommending them to others. It's a shame because I genuinely enjoy the food, but there are other options available. Hopefully, the service issues I experienced with catering do not eventually carry over into the restaurant experience.
