Came into the restaurant around 11 P.M. because the website showed that it was open till one A.M. but the look we received from the cooks and the servers was offputting as if we were unwelcome. We continued our experience to make sure it wasn't us overthinking. I ordered two cantritos and a margarita flight(mango, strawberry, regular) it taste all like basic sugar. we decide to order the ceviche divorciado, Molcajete, and fajitas. All of it looked like no efforts and taste was bland. What really was the biggest turn off was the employees cleaning, turning off everything and basically giving us the impression that they were ready to leave. Our server Daniela was very attentive and sweet. We enjoyed the atmosphere. We were there during the karaoke.

food was so good but the service was terrible. I got charged twice and they asked me to come back for an "easy refund" as if this happens often. I drove 30 minutes there and they said they would have to contact the owner and asked me to come back another day. the server who was not a manager demanded to see my bank statements. as if i was trying to scam them and I STILL showed them it. they said they would get me my refund but not today as they had to contact the owner. ONE WEEK later no refund. I had to go through my bank and chargeback and 2 days after I did they called me. I told them it was okay i'd gone through my bank. the manager lady hung up on me. very rude but the food was sooooo good which sucks i woulda liked to come back to this place. read more

I often visit this place, the food is very good. I usually have "ceviche en aguacate" which is my favorite entree. The "molcajete" is delicious. I have also had beef and it's always been perfectly cooked. The service is good, servers are very kind, they check in you often and do their best to make you feel comfortable. Fernando was my server today and he fulfilled my expectation, he was very kind. The ambiance is cozy, sometimes could be noisy (live music) but it is good music, the place is clean and servers look neat all the time. I'll keep visiting this place. read more

I get a little nervous trying seafood here in Denver, since we are land locked, but coming from Cali I get serious seafood cravings so I decided to risk it. I was pleasantly surprised! For starters they give free chips & salsa, and that's the first good sign of any Mexican restaurant! To drink I got a Michelada Especial with Negra Modelo, super refreshing! For food I got a Tostada Aguachiles Verdes (shrimp with a spicy green sauce) and a Tostada Campechana (mixture of seafood) and they were both delicious. The tostadas come with plenty of food stacked on. The ambience was also great! They do have music bumping and an occasional trio or group that comes in to play for tips! One of a kind restaurant with whimsical ocean decor made this place memorable. We shared a mango frozen margarita, which was delicious, but maybe on the weaker side. Their menu has large a selection of seafood and come in large plates so bringing friends is highly encouraged for sharing. I had their ceviche, which was particularly good because of the balance of flavors. It was still delicious the next day for leftovers. It's a lot of food so plan on taking your time to eat or taking some home. Looking around, their other customers looked like families and regulars. Went to this restaurant today, August 25, 2021 and experienced the most horrible disgusting time. The waitress was rude and unfriendly. Took forever to get our order. When it came it was horrible. The rice undone. Beans were burnt and shrimp like rubber. When we brought it to the waitress attention she dismissed us and did nothing to remedy the situation. No one ate their food and they said they would give us a 15% discount. I came from California to this horrible restaurant that I do not recommend to anyone. Don't waste your time or money. read more

We had a good time except the service sucked ass . & on your ticket you still get charged 18% Gratuity regardless if your a single person or a party of 8 . The server does not check on you ever . You have to go up to the counter to get service . It dosent matter if your food is too spicy , " that's how the plate comes " so if you order something you don't like your fucked . Firts off ordered fish tacos and even though i prefer spicier was nothing tapatio couldnt fix. Think the prices are reasonable and portions plentiful. I also ordered a campechana seca wich is a seafood melody. First the downsides: had to figure and put plenty of sauces and salt and peeper to my liking. At first the sauce seemed lime it didnt have much flavor and would be best if it was. Ot as runny so it stays on the food. I didnt get to really taste it until i was done with the seafood and it was not bad. However knowing you must fix it to your liking a phuge plus was the freshness of the seafood, it seemed it was prepared to order not premade, defi ately fresher than other places ive tried. Would suggest you give it a try. Not a huge or fancy but a nice mellow atmostphere. Think they can improve but doing good. read more

Best fish and shrimp tacos in Denver and Aurora. I've been searching for good fish tacos since I moved here 4 years ago and I finally found them!! Service was so slow which is why I chose 4 not 5 stars. But totally worth the wait. Salsa is amazing as well. Definitely coming back. read more

I stopped in for a to go order today and while I was waiting I saw the waitress take limes off of a table and throw away the squeezed ones and served the other ones to another person. After that, she took tostadas from a different table and picked out all the broken ones and put those to be served to someone else. We used to go to this restaurant every Friday, really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, after waiting for 45 minutes and several other customers receiving their food, they arrived after us, we left.
