Tostada Campechana & Tostada Aguachile Verde

I get a little nervous trying seafood here in Denver, since we are land locked, but coming from Cali I get serious seafood cravings so I decided to risk it. I was pleasantly surprised! For starters they give free chips & salsa, and that's the first good sign of any Mexican restaurant! To drink I got a Michelada Especial with Negra Modelo, super refreshing! For food I got a Tostada Aguachiles Verdes (shrimp with a spicy green sauce) and a Tostada Campechana (mixture of seafood) and they were both delicious. The tostadas come with plenty of food stacked on. The ambience was also great! They do have music bumping and an occasional trio or group that comes in to play for tips! I personally love that, everything is very lively with a friendly staff!

First time here. The place isn't big but able to hold a party. For two dishes from here. Seafood. I love seafood and I would say I like it here. Except the fish in the dish. The price is reasonable and would come back to try other dishes. There are alcohol beverages and parking lot.

One of a kind restaurant with whimsical ocean decor made this place memorable. We shared a mango frozen margarita, which was delicious, but maybe on the weaker side. Their menu has large a selection of seafood and come in large plates so bringing friends is highly encouraged for sharing. I had their ceviche, which was particularly good because of the balance of flavors. It was still delicious the next day for leftovers. It's a lot of food so plan on taking your time to eat or taking some home. Looking around, their other customers looked like families and regulars. My friend says they have another location and the food there is even better.

I ordered the Molcajete Campechano, it was so amazing! The michelada especial was surprisingly good as well. I will definitely come eat here again. If your looking for authentic Mexican seafood (mariscos) this is the place to come.

Our server Daniela was very attentive and sweet. We enjoyed the atmosphere. We were there during the karaoke.

Dan Da is one of the few places that's gotten me to branch out, and I'm glad I did. The Bún Chả Hà Nội was probably my favorite. Putting everything together yourself made every bite a little different, and the pork was so flavorful. I also really enjoyed the coconut curry claypot with shrimp. It was rich and comforting without feeling too heavy. The shaken beef was cooked well, and the shrimp and crab mini rolls disappeared pretty quickly. I like that the menu has dishes you don't see everywhere. It makes coming here feel a little different from your average Vietnamese restaurant. Already looking forward to trying something new the next time I'm back.

Huge portion. Worth it. And the flavor is authentic. 2) shaken beef. Tender. 3) to go salad combo. Even good the next day 4) bun Bo vermicelli. My hub said the best in Denver he had and he had a few 5) lotus wonton. My picky toddler liked it. 6) lemonade lychee. Our server, Malik, was so professional, courteous, engaging, gave us great suggestions and our meal experience was even better with him as our server! We ordered the Happy Hour cocktails of lemon drop martinis and a regular martini. Ordered a half-dozen of the Pearl oysters and they were so yummy, we ordered another half-dozen. Well-presented and delicious! We then ordered the Nantucket Risotto (only been on the menu for 2 weeks), the Blue Island Diver's Platter (ask for the octopus), a Happy Hour Crispy Slider and Fish Taco. We combined this with a glass of white wine and red wine. The meal was absolutely fabulous and we then finished this spectacular meal with sharing a key lime pie. Once again, Malik made this meal even better with his genuine smile, attentiveness and efficiency. I will say for the oyster deal it has been good, but sometimes the oysters aren't cleaned well. Again a hit and miss. The ambiance is nice and soothing, very ocean blue. We have also tried some sides and other entrees. The shrimp entree was good but lacked some salt. The burger was amazing with the bacon jam and always have the best shoestring fries. I also got an order of the crispy rice that has a salmon and a tuna. The salmon was way too sweet and had a fishy aftertaste that I disliked. The truffle tuna was definitely the better one of the two. However, the rice itself was absolutely mushy and not necessarily crispy. It also didn't have the best flavor. Desserts tried were the olive oil orange cake and the brownie. both are OK and nice and sweet, but not something I would spend money on Overall, truly think this place is a hit and miss. Just depends on the night.

Meanwhile, waitstaff and bar staff were fully aware I was standing there and chose to completely ignore me. Not a single greeting, no acknowledgment--nothing. After being blatantly ignored, I finally sat myself at the bar, thinking someone would at least step in at that point. Still nothing. No one came over, no one offered service--it was like I didn't exist. What makes this even more unacceptable is that the place wasn't busy at all. There is absolutely no excuse for service this poor when staff clearly have the time to do their jobs. To top it off, there was no manager or supervisor in sight, which says a lot about how this place is run. I was actually recommended to come here and drove 25 minutes just to be treated like this--completely not worth it. I will not be recommending this location to anyone. I may try a different location, but this one clearly has serious issues with customer service and basic professionalism.

I went with the snow crab and he had the shrimp, and we both got the Hook N Reel special sauce. The food itself was actually quite tasty. The seasoning was flavorful, the seafood was cooked well, and everything was served hot. I genuinely enjoyed the flavor of my meal. Unfortunately, my partner ended up getting food poisoning after eating, which really put a damper on the night. I'm not sure if it was a one-off issue or something else, but it definitely made the experience complicated for us. While I personally didn't have any issues with the food, it's hard to ignore that this happened. The vibe of the restaurant is pretty standard for a seafood spot, it has that casual, nautical feel with fishing nets, crabs, and other decorations scattered throughout. It's not anything particularly unique, but it fits the theme and gives the place a fun, casual seafood restaurant energy. The service, unfortunately, was a major downside. Our waitress was honestly pretty rude, and it was clear she didn't want to be there. When we told her we were ready to order, she walked away mid-sentence and didn't come back for another 20 minutes. While she was at the table, she kept rushing off while we were still talking to her, and this was despite the fact that we were her only table at the time. It made the experience feel really awkward and unwelcoming. Overall, I think this place has potential, the food can be very tasty, and the casual seafood vibe is fun, but the service really dragged down the experience. I would like to come back to give it another try, but the combination of the poor service and my partner's food poisoning makes me hesitant to fully recommend it without some improvements.

So there's plenty of parking you just might have to walk a little further to get to the door. We were greeted and seated immediately. We placed our drink orders and then we were off to the buffet. It was set up like any other buffet, there was an Asian station with the traditional Asian foods, a fried station with your typical American foods, and even a dim sum station hidden in the back. They also had a Mongolian Grill where you could create your own! And they had a couple rolls of sushi out for grabs. The flavor of the foods with nothing out of the ordinary, pretty standard and tasted normal. So I think for the variety of options you get and the price that you pay is worth it. I didn't get to try the Mongolian Grill, but I definitely wanna go back and give it a shot. They also had a soft served ice cream, machine, and a chocolate fondue station. They also offered fruits for dessert as well. With all of the options they have available. I think you could definitely find something for everybody. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely go back!
