We were lucky enough to grab a last minute table for a drink on valentines when someone didn't show up for their reservation. Love the cozy, intimate atmosphere here. The server was attentive and gave great recommendations for drinks and our drinks were so good! Will definitely be back.

Formerly Skybar, Traveling Mercies is a quaint little place in the top corner of Stanley Marketplace. This bar is small and offers 28 seats total - most are bar stools with the exception of the 3, four top tables that are in the middle of the bar. TM offers an expansive menu with lots of fun concoctions of cocktails. I went with the Espresso Martini as it was on Happy Hour. (Happy Hour differ from day to day) It was a well executed Espresso Martini. TM also has a few little dishes to select from. They tout their oysters here as the actual name is Traveling Mercies Oyster and Cocktail Bar. The oysters did look good, but we ended up splitting marinated olives - divine! While a little on the pricey side as most cocktails are in Denver, it is worth the money. Service is friendly and helpful. TM did make Westword's 100 Bars for the 24-25 year and it definitely deserves a spot on this list!

On the third floor of the Stanley market you can find Traveling Mercies close to Cheluna Brewing. We were checking out the Stanley Market for the first time and happened to stumble into Traveling Mercies on its opening night! We just got drinks and tried the long but distinguished and talk to me goose! The long but distinguished tasted like a sparkling sangria. I really liked it but not what I thought it would taste like. The talk to me goose was also great! We did not order any food because we were not feeling seafood or any of the other foods on the menu. The staff helping us were great. Very helpful with any questions we had. Overall a very nice, upscale place for cocktails. Tip: 20% service fee automatically added to the menu. The staff let us know about it when giving us the check which we appreciated.

Stopped in for a passport drink and loved it! Wife and I both had daiquiris and split the anchovy cheese straws. Highly recommend.

I had seen a small news piece about this restaurant's oysters and decided to come in on a whim. I was immediately in love with the restaurant's interior and dreamy vibe. It is a very cozy space with a carefully crafted blend of luxury and nautical moments showered in sunlight. The best parts of the service also showed a lot of intent and care for the dinners' experience. The food and cocktails were amazing. Everything was fresh, simple, and elevated. The tables were small yet staff were quick to remove plates and serve the next dish in succession. We ate comfortably at our own pace, enjoyed the music, and too much alcohol.

Traveling Mercies made Esquire Magazine's cut of the 42 Best Bars in America so I had to try it. On the third level of Stanley Marketplace, follow the signs to the elevator or staircase that leads you to this small but intimate space. There are seating options at the bar, 3 tables, or bar stools overlooking Lowry. Service is friendly. They have happy hour from 4-5pm W-Sunday, and all day Tuesday (they are closed Monday). I didn't try the food which looked good but did sample a couple of their cocktails - their espresso martini and Mercies Penicillin. The espresso martini was equal parts sweet and caffeinated. Definitely opt for their rec of spiced rum over vodka. The Mercies Penicillin was a masterful blend of scotch, lemon, honey, and ginger. (Went down way easier than the thick pink stuff I had to drink as a kid when I was sick.) Definitely stop by for some fine cocktails.

Superb service. Vibrant Vibe. Gorgeous View. Delicious nibbles. Delightful cocktails. Oysters are on point. It's possibly the best I've had while nowhere near an ocean. It's the only place on the 3rd floor of the Stanley. I felt like I was in a speakeasy except up top instead of down below.

Perfect little escape with beautifully crafted cocktails and East coast oysters. The oeuf tonnato is sublime, don't miss it.

Beautiful spot for an intimate drink! Great ambience for a romantic date. Chef kiss to the menu.

What a cute little hidden gem!! This is our new go to spot for an appetizer and drinks. The views from this place are awesome! We love sitting at the bar and people watching or enjoying the sunset. My husband has gotten the espresso martini twice and said it's the best one he's ever had. My cocktails every time are absolute perfection. Highly recommend the daiquiri and Kill Your Darlings if you like light refreshing cocktails. You MUST get the mussel toast! It is bursting with flavor, I've never had anything like it. The servers are so kind, another reason why we love coming here. Will definitely be back!!

Surprising cozy venue. High end cocktails and snacks for happy hour. Worth a try for special occasions or a great view of the Front Range.

You can tell there's real attention to detail in every dish, and nothing felt overly complicated just for the sake of it. We shared the burger (honestly one of the best we've had), the panzanella salad, and deviled eggs - all impressive. Drinks were excellent - the mezcal negroni, stockyard pony, and house spritz. We ended with the pecan tart and espresso martini. It was just the two of us and we were stuffed when we left. They sat us in their outdoor space and it was so, so nice. We LOVED it. Cons for this paragraph is the wait for the food is ridiculous. Why 45 min at least for any dishes. If you're ordering multiple. They're not coming out all at once. The appetizer orecchiette we got was tasty in regard to the texture. Nicely al dente. But it was extremely salted and extremely sour. Unsure of what flavor profile they want to have. Our server recommended the roasted chicken to be the most seasoned dish. I'm not sure whatever they marinated actually puncture the meat. It was cook well but virtually no flavor. Not any difference if you just boil chicken breast by itself. Everything was really pricey for no reason. Sure it was a good size? But if you compare it to restaurants located in downtown, a similar dish is at least 8-10$ cheaper. $14 for a basket of shoes string fries, $41 for roasted chicken and $43 for steak? On par with coors field at least. My assumption is that any new coming restaurants at the Stanley market is just a test run with a safety net to see if the restaurant actually performs well if it was a stand alone business.

We had a 5:45 PM reservation but the dining room was already full, so we sat at the bar and were immediately offered menus, water, and house-made chips and homemade salsa (Aaaah-mazing salsa!). Service was friendly and welcoming from our server Hunter to the bartenders and food runners -- everyone was happy to chat. We sampled a couple cocktails (Elderflower Prickly Pear and the Spicy Mezcal). If you like mezcal, the Spicy Mezcal is a perfect balance of heat and bright citrus. The prickly pair is too sweet for my taste buds but love the presentation. For my entrée I tried the Nomada's Best of Plate -- a grilled taco, chicken enchilada (I added green chili), and crispy carnitas (I ate these with a tortilla). All three were excellent and distinct; the chicken enchilada was my favorite and likely what I'll order next time. My wife had the crispy carnitas fajitas -- a generous portion and very easy to eat thanks to a thoughtful presentation. Highly recommend -- just be sure to make a reservation.

Food-wise, the chicken fingers are some of the best I've had. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The thin fries are amazing too -- the kind you keep eating long after you're full. The gravy and honey mustard are perfect pairings with the chicken and fries. The BBQ sauce, though, I could personally do without. Overall, a great neighborhood spot with good food, good specials, and a fun atmosphere.

Cheluna Brewing is located inside of Aurora's crown jewel, Stanley Marketplace. They're situated indoors near the west entrance in between Stanley Beer Hall and Sweet Cow. One of the best parts is that you can take your beer outdoors or even roam around the rest of the market with it. In turn, I think this what the only "downside" of Cheluna is; the fact that I've never sat inside the tasting room for a beer. It always feel a bit transactional because we take our beers and run, if you will. My go to's are the kolsch, cold IPA (GABF silver), and Mexican lager. The latter they serve with a lime and it's delightful. I'm really glad Cheluna is still kicking after a damn near decade in operation.
