    Food truck
    Jennie A.

I happened to be visiting in the Aventine neighborhood, near County Line & Kendrick Castillo Way and saw the Cousins Maine Lobster truck in the parking lot. First time customer. Friendly, helpful and fast service. Everything looked good on the menu. They had lobster rolls, lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, lobster quesadillas, bisques/chowders, and more. I ordered the garlic butter lobster roll and New England clam chowder. It was all tasty even on a 70 degree day. There was no seating there at the truck, but I found a table a couple of blocks away. The food was pricy, good for a treat day.

Drove to the brewery where the truck parked. Some people waiting. I decided on the Connecticut roll as it's warm to try and he ordered the Maine. The rolls are not large, a handful. I heard another customer order extra meat so I went with it. We came home and had lunch. He ate his in a couple of bites. He didn't think it was worth the price. The Connecticut roll was good. The roll soft and buttery, the lobster warm. The extra meat was good. Was it worth the $8? I don't know. Did I walk away from the meal happy we drove down and spent $70? No. I was happier when I went to AYCE seafood at an Asian restaurant. It was fun to go with him. Beautiful day and fun location.

This was our first return to Cousins since a really horrible experience just about a year ago. The experience was much, much, much better. The truck was parked on Eastman at an apartment complex very near to our home. We opted to walk over and try this again. Our order was taken graciously and promptly. We ordered two Connecticut rolls, a lobster grilled cheese, two large lobster bisques, two sodas and chocolate/red velvet Whoopis. It took about ten minutes to assemble our order. This time, it was packaged well, had utensils, napkins and was complete. When we returned home, our lunch was fresh, well prepared tasty and just what we were wanting on this beautiful summer day. I just may have to get the app again as Cousins may have just may good on the previous errors.

I'm so sad this isn't a better review! I'm from Massachusetts and finding good lobster is hard. The lobster roll ($23) was actually good, but I bit into a piece of shell. And I thought the whoopie pie ($5) was not good or fresh. It's prepackaged and processed. I would probly get the lobster roll again because it wasn't a bad price and the lobster tasted good. I'm just disappointed with the piece of shell and whoopie pie. They had Maine Root sodas which was cool but it's not a twist off and they didn't open it for me! Or I'm just really weak lol This is a traveling food truck. They have an app that you can see their schedule and place an order.

Had the lobster bisque and clam chowder and DAYUM the flavors are there .. but my bisque had 1 little piece of lobster in which was disappointing. Love the presentation with all the celebrity chef in the videos screens that the truck had and as seen on Shark Tank. Service - Meh. Considering it being a food truck it was a quick interaction Only reason why it gets 4 stars it's because of the flavors WOW But should be giving it 3 for overall experience.

Lobster tacos with too much mayo sauce on top

Second time to ever have their lobster off the food truck, and I'm honestly not sure what's so great about them. My first experience was a lobster roll, which while good, was really small and not worth the high price for three bites. Today I tried the lobster tacos. Again, tacos are about as small as street tacos can be. Any amount of lobster was overpowered by the mayo sauce slathered on top. Just not worth it for $18 + tax and tip. For anyone who thinks this is great lobster, I wonder if they've truly had fresh, succulent lobster from Maine or anywhere else in New England for that matter. I have multiple times, and this just doesn't compare. I'd rather not have lobster than settle for this and expect it to be a reminder of what lobster should be.

Hi, I'm Katie, and I'm a Loberster-a-holic!! After hearing this truck was parked outside of my favorite brewery (Resolute), my friend and I opted for a bite and a (NA) brew to end the weekend! We opted for The Denver Special - aka a lobster roll and tots with a drink for a mere $25! I'm a sucker for dunking lobster in butter, so we got the Connecticut Roll - Maine lobster, served warm with butter and lemon, on a New England roll! The bread was perfectly toasted, buttered to perfection, the crab was lump and delicious - while providing the best buttery coastal flavor. YUM! DROOLING! My friend got the lobster grilled cheese - which was also delicious and buttery, and each bite provided a cheese pull! The tots were unseasoned, yet crisp and made for a great addition to the meal! The prices reflect the quality of the lump rolls, and the staff is beyond friendly! PRO TIP: There are a few trucks in the Denver area and a station at Coors Field - AND their website is up to date with their where their trucks will be any given day, so do yourself a favor and GO! You won't be disappointed!

Wow really sweet fresh high quality lobster! They came to our neighborhood for Food truck Thursday and we were really impressed by the butter lobster rolls. (We are long time New England residents and this was top quality). The lobster bisque was also excellent quality with chunks of claw lobster meat. Will definitely watch their food truck schedule for next local visit!

The food was tasted good, but the sandwich was cold. I ordered the Lobster Roll with melted butter. The sandwich was very small, for $21 (see photo). I just feel the food it way too expensive, for what is offered. The man who helped was polite and helpful.

Came back to try a few other items on the menu and wow! Has my opinion changed!! Cousins was at Joyride Brewing for the day. Ordered and food was ready in about 5 minutes as there was not a wait, yet! Ordered the Connecticut roll and cup of the clam chowder. The Connecticut roll had the perfect amount of butter with a squeeze of lemon. So much lobster in the roll too! The clam chowder was chunky and every bite had clam in it! Happy to come back and experience the deliciousness!

As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best wedge salads we've ever had. The warm bread service was incredible and paired perfectly with the house-made spreads. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. The highlight of the evening was the Wagyu steak topped with cheesy potato croquettes. It was cooked to perfection and so tender it practically melted in your mouth.
