Everything we had was on par or better than what I've eaten in any Korean restaurant. It all tasted homemade. There was not a lot of banchan, but the banchan was very good - definitely not something I would complain about. I decided to be adventurous and ordered the sweetbreads. I'll admit it--I had absolutely no idea what sweetbreads were. I figured maybe it was some kind of bread with gravy. Nope. Turns out I had ordered a classic delicacy made from organ meat. My partner looked it up while I was halfway through eating it and told me exactly what I was eating. Did I stop? Absolutely not. It was damn good, and I'll wear that experience like a badge of honor from now on. Sometimes the best meals happen when you step outside your comfort zone. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, the flavors were outstanding, and the family-style meal made the experience even better. The New York had way too much fat which was disappointing because it was only a 10 oz.
