My sister-in-law treated me to a fried sushi plate, and I was pleasantly surprised by how generous the portion was. The sushi roll itself was honestly pretty good, crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. One suggestion I'd make to elevate the dish would be to cook the chile güero a bit more. Awful, awful, awful there were flies inside the restaurant and I ordered a machaca breakfast with frijoles puercos shown in the menu. There were no frijoles puercos on the dish and the machaca was very salty. The place looked scary and not very clean not a good experience at all. We went to this restaurant based on the ad on tic tok and what a mistake. The fish from the ceviche tasted horrible. The fish was spoiled smelled like fish when its gone bad. They brought out another one didn't smell but tasted salty. This place is called Mariscos el compa huero but they need to improve. The machaca was burnt and very chewy this place was truly a waste of money. The service was very slow. The only thing that was good the tortillas and beans. I will never return. The restaurant and its owners are trying to bank on the old Perihuete customers. Except the quality and quantity has gone way down. The ceviche has very little shrimp, the shrimp quesadilla was burnt and had like 3 total shrimps, beans and rice in the to go containers is like 1/4 full. Raising prices and lowering quality and quality is a no go for me. We were given 1 lime for a 4 person order. When asked for more we were given a lecture on how expensive limes are and we're lucky to be given just one. Prices are ridiculously high for what your given and the location. We are now charged 4% for card transactions? That's insane, if you want to turn it into a cash business just say so. The sever/host/maybe co-owner is very rude. If someone asks for something or comments on the food she begins to argue with customers. The food just isn't as good as it once was. I give this new place multiples tries and every time it was all bad. Sad to say avoid this place. I rarely give 1 star but ppl shouldn't spend their hard earned money here. read more
