I randomly stumbled upon this place next to a car wash, and I'm so glad I did! There's plenty of spacious parking, which made stopping by super convenient. My friends and I ordered the beef teriyaki and roll combo, an additional lobster roll, and three OKF jelly drinks (our first time trying them). Everything was delicious! The beef teriyaki combo came with cabbage salad, miso soup, macaroni salad, and rice, making it a very filling meal with generous portions. I was a little skeptical about the lobster roll at first, but after one bite, I couldn't stop eating it. I loved how it was stuffed with meat. I ended up finishing the whole thing and would definitely order it again. The OKF jelly drinks also caught my eye while browsing the fridge. I love drinks with jelly, and these did not disappoint. The peach flavor was my favorite, and now I want to stock up on them, I hope they have this at HMart! The best part? The three of us left completely stuffed, and our total was under $50. Such an amazing value for the amount and quality of food we got. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly, and they were generous with the sauces. There are plenty of comfortable booth seats, and I also noticed they offer catering, which is great to know. My brother and I was in the area and stumbled upon this teriyaki and sushi place, which we were having a craving for. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the cashier and saw the large sign with all their menu items. When she saw that we were looking at it. She immediately directed us to the handheld menu to her left. I thought that was a really nice touch and sweet of her to save us some time. The ambience is very humbling and comforting. It felt like the typical teriyaki place where you come in, eat real quick, and head out. It's very down to earth and I love that! My brother and I ordered the couples pack as well as the ultimate albacore roll. Couple Pack - 5/5 this pack came with two sets of the teriyaki protein of your choice, macaroni salad, regular standard salad, two drinks, and one order of the Love roll (which seems to be a different order of ingredients a Philadelphia roll). We were extremely surprised with the quality of the teriyaki plate. The chicken was moist perfectly, and the teriyaki sauce was made to perfection with the balance of sweetness and savory. The rice was perfectly made and was not overcooked nor dry. The macaroni salad was nothing special, but I'm not going to complain about it since it's a side dish. Same goes with the salad on the side. I will say that the salad did look and taste fresh. The love roll was perfectly balanced with the ratio of the Philadelphia cheese inside to the salmon and the rice. I will say I love that the rice was not overly packed and it was the perfect amount to complement the salmon and the Philadelphia roll. Ultimate albacore roll - 5/5 this role has a very nice kick to it. It's not overly spicy for those that love spicy food, but enough to have an enjoyable meal. For those that are sensitive to spicy I would recommend trying one bite to test your palette before devouring more. Overall, each bite was perfect and did not need much soy sauce because it was already so packed with flavor and freshness. Stopped by for the first time and had a great overall experience. The plaza has plenty of spacious parking, which made visiting super convenient. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken & Beef Fries, Takoyaki, and the Tiger Roll. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the Tiger Roll had great flavor with tempura crunch inside. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating, and one of the staff members was especially kind and helpful when checking on our order. Terrible phone order/pickup experience. I called and placed an order at 3:24pm. The person that answered said it'll be about a 30-35min wait. I waited until 3:54pm to ask what the status was on my order. The chefs and the person that bags the food looked confused. They lost the ticket to my order so it was never made! I had to wait an extra 10 minutes to receive my food. Everyone that walked in and ordered after me received their order before I even received my order that was placed 30minutes ago. I went on wednesday and ordered the beef bulgogi bento, and it had a little bit of everything, sushi, rice, sides, meat, and all of it was tasty for a reasonable price. The guy working the cashier in front was very helpful, explained what each of the items I asked had and explained what was popular. The dinning area was pretty quiet when I went their, though the cashier guy did say that the place gets much more busier on fridays and weekends, so be aware of that. My first time coming was good, there was a nice lady who actually helped me and gave suggestions on the menu. That's the ONLY reason I came back (to help a small business in my neighborhood). Second time? Completely different story. I asked if there was a plate with rice, teriyaki, a sushi roll, and miso soup. This guy (said his name was Chang) just stared at me like I said something crazy. It got so awkward I had to break the silence myself and ask if that was possible. Then he catches an attitude (out of no where, literally) telling me I need to "be more specific than rice"... like okay?? He repeated this to me about 5 times, in a very aggressive tone, almost like he was upset he had to do his job, so I replied "white rice". He KEPT repeating himself about being specific like 3 times, talking to me like I'm slow, I myself have worked in food service so I was completely shocked to be treated this way by "Chang" since I was nothing but nice. Maybe that was my mistake. Then he starts guessing random items on the menu like "so you want a chicken roll?" and I had to repeat myself over and over. Mind you, the place was EMPTY. There was one person eating their meal, and NO LINE. I Would never do this if the establishment was busy, I thought Chang would have some type of customer service, but apparently not. Then he randomly asks for my receipt and says "what do you want??? So chicken or beef, we ONLY have chicken and beef" and starts throwing out menu numbers like I'm the one working a shift at terryaki sushi house and will understand the numbers he's throwing at me. The whole time his tone was rude and aggressive for no reason. Like I get you don't wanna be at work, but don't take it out on me. Customer service is not for everyone, and he is definitely one of those people, Chang should stick to being in the back of the business, not the face of the business. The food was okay for the price but being treated like this when simply asking for a plate with the items I did last time, will not be worth my money. And if you've NEVER came here, I recommend you don't, this place is mainly for regulars, as a first timer Chang will not be willing to help :( Unless, you have the entire menu memorized off the top of your head or there is someone else rather than Chang taking your order. I usually let things slide, because I understand food service is stressful, but Chang had absolutely no reason to be so rude to me.
