I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken and steak molcajete. Our food was brought out super fast! The portions - humongous! But the food is so good! My husband is super picky when it comes to Mexican food, and he said this molcajete is his favorite so far compared to other Mexican restaurants we've been to. The burrito was on the smaller side and it leaned way heavier on the potatoes than the eggs. The bacon and ham were decent though. The grilled jalapeños were really good -- nice and spicy (hard to mess that up ). The green salsa was tasty, but the red salsa had a little too much cumin for my taste. For that price, I'm used to paying something similar in L.A., but usually the size of the burrito reflects the price, and this one didn't really. Overall it wasn't like "OMG this is the best burrito ever." It was just okay for me.

The birria bao bun was my absolute favorite! The mini bao is packed with flavorful birria, and I absolutely loved the consommé they serve alongside it for dipping. It's such a fun combination, and that consommé takes the bao to another level. I also really enjoyed that they make their salsas in-house. They served both a verde and a roasted red salsa with the buns, and both were delicious. The chile relleno was another standout. That melted, cheesy goodness inside was everything you want from a chile relleno! The crispy beef taco was an unexpected winner.
