They will help you find a dress in the color you want and also help you when trying them on. They take the dresses off the hangers and rehang when you are done. This sounds strange but these dresses are long, heavy and very time consuming when doing this yourself. This also helps keep the dress in nice shape. But I wasn't expecting cockroaches crawling amongst the gowns? I immediately informed the older employee. She showed some interest. But as I informed the owners, they didn't seemed surprised at all. 11.26.22 My daughter needed a dress for a black tie event…read more So we headed to the "Harwin" area. If you are from Houston or surrounding area then you know where I am talking about. This area sells 1000's if long gowns, Quinceanera dresses, and tons of accessories all at amazing prices. My older daughter found a great dress a few years ago so we had high hopes. Both of my daughters are tall (5'10 & 6'0") so this is not usually an easy task. We stopped in a few different stores before returning here. (Save the best for last) The lady who was helping my daughter was so nice. She went above and beyond to help her find that perfect dress, that was long enough. And you guessed it...SHE FOUND ONE!!! It needed a tiny alteration and they recommended a lady that was only a block away. (She was fantastic!) (She did it while we waited.) I will post her business card. If you are in need of formal dress this is your stop. Tip: Take a pair of heels with you to help with the length. I will post both dresses (my older daughter's and my younger daughter's dress)
