Not only was it a truly smooth transition over it was a great choice! From the first time I called to make my appointment for a cleaning the receptionist was so polite in answering all my questions about insurance, etc. The hygienists here are all so nice and gentle. I am a big baby and as many people are very nervous about going to see the dentist for even a cleaning. But I was quickly put to rest and felt very confident I was getting top notch advice from Dr. Tessier and care from his staff. When I switched to this office I had a list of extensive dental issues I needed to address. He was very helpful in recommending specialists for me to see, and coordinating repairs through them and also his office. I appreciated his conservative approach to what needed to be done. Due to my anxiety about dentistry and trust in medical professionals, I was taken advantage of for years at this office. This dentist will scrutinize your insurance and then convince you to have unnecessary procedures so that he can secure as much of your insurance money as possible. For example-he convinced us to redo an already existing crown that had no issues simply because it was old. I questioned him about it, and he admitted that it was not medically necessary. That was the last time my husband and I ever had anything to do with this office. Additionally, his skills are outdated and his equipment is antiquated. His skill level was discovered by my new dentist that was mortified at the quality of his work that she saw when she examined both my husband and my teeth. We have since found a competent dentist, and are astonished at the difference an actual modern, smart, kind dentist is actually like. It is entirely my fault that this happened to me and my husband. I should have been more diligent, less trusting, and more questioning. I'm glad I finally got wind of what was going on and urge anyone contemplating getting work done here to please seek other dentists. There are many choices and you only have so many teeth. It is clear that this dentist does not care about his patients and their dental health. He cares about how to use each patient as a commodity which I feel is unethical and fraudulent.

My grandmother on the other hand hates dentists but would still go to Dr. Roberts. She was NOT an easy patient but Dr. Roberts treated her with kindness and respect. His staff would spend extra time getting her teeth cleaned just right since she would forget to brush and floss regularly. We would recommend Dr. Roberts and his staff to anyone.

Dr. Colker has impressed me with her conservative approach to addressing my dental concerns, preferring to let a situation stabilize and find equilibrium before deciding on a course of action. This approach is rare in dentistry and one of the reasons I don't hesitate to travel 40 miles each way to see Dr. Colker. The dental assistant started a little late and when I was in her chair she lectured me on my choice of not having children at my age. Completely inappropriate and very uncomfortable. I tried to end the conversation but it kept going and going and I felt like I was being interrogated. Eventually she started what I thought was the cleaning I set up over the phone but she really started a procedure without my consent which I was later billed for. After I was out of her chair, there was no time for the dentist to review my x-rays so I was made to schedule a second appointment to finish what we started. No way! Won't be back!

The ladies at front desk are very nice and helpful. They always call to remind me of upcoming appointments. Due to my busy work schedule, they are very kind to schedule my appointments on weekends and at the most convenient time for me. (Rescheduling always happens to me.) Another thing I like is their financial consulting. They help you find the most cost effective way to file dental care insurance and documents with your insurance company.
