I asked Yelp for a quote for seat shampooing/ detailing services and Brian was among the first to respond with a very reasonable quote. So even if it was a bit out of the way, I decided to give them a try. The appointment was easy to make (they fit me in right away), and the service itself was fast - there's a Starbucks down the road to wait at. In this day and age that is not easy to accomplish. Then I decided I would visit their facility (funny thing is when I was a kid that building used to be an Ice Skating Ring), this is when I met Sunny. Sunny gave me a tour, showed me some cars and explained the process. He even offered after service to walk me through how to properly care for my car and go over all the do's and don'ts to ensure long term protection. To top it all off they use "Wax is Dead" ceramic coating (which is rated very high as well). I ended up taking advantage of a deal they were offering, which is extremely competitive. Actually, it is more than competitive when you factor in their reviews, top shelf product and a great staff (especially Sunny). Personally I went with the 10 year coating. This is the type of business that I will gladly and confidently refer my friends and family to! On the parts of the car that he did detail, he did a good job: the exterior painted surfaces, the seats, doors, carpets, and windows of the car. Having said that, there were shortcomings that prevented me from giving a higher rating. 1. Thoroughness - My car is rather dusty, so it's easy for me to visually see what areas were cleaned and what areas were not. Some spots like my center console screen and the areas behind my seats remained dusty and untouched after the detail. 2. Trunk - The trunk and engine cover, which take up about half the space of the cabin in my mid-engined sports car, were not cleaned, so half of my car looks great and the other half still looks dirty. I had asked beforehand whether their services included the same things as a list of services that a competitor provided me, which does include cleaning of the trunk, and Rich did not point this out as a difference. So either this was an oversight on the detail job or an oversight on communication. 3. Wheels - When booking the appointment, I explicitly asked whether a "deep clean of the wheel barrel" was part of the detail package, to which Rich said "absolutely". I also let them know that I did not have a water hookup, which Rich said was not a problem for them. When the job was done, I noticed that the barrels were untouched. Rich explained to me that he could not clean the barrels without a water hookup. While this reasoning might make sense from a physical limitations angle, I'm disappointed that this was not brought to my attention before the job. tldr; while the overall service experience was pleasant, and they did a good job on many areas, the job wasn't as thorough as I'd have liked, and I'm disappointed certain omissions were not communicated ahead of time despite clear opportunities to do so. This led to an overall experience that fell short of expectations.
