He truly cares about every individual as though they were his own family. His demeanor is welcoming, gentle, patient, and friendly. Even though his schedule is always booked, he has never once made any of us feel like he needs to hurry through. Dr. Roman gives each of us the time to feel heard and seen completely as a patient, making you feel like his only one. His work is very well done and seamless (he's filled a couple cavities on my boys, and a fixed a broken tooth on me). He's even exceptional in accommodating you quickly if you have a dental emergency. Dr. Roman's staff is also the best! They all have the most hospitable and friendly hearts, making you feel so welcome the moment you walk through the door. Their waiting room even offers the feel of peace and comfort, never packed full of others waiting to be called. All of this is by design by a doctor who seems to really know how to help his patients feel at ease throughout their whole visit, from beginning to end. You don't find too many like Dr. Roman anymore! :D

Doctor did not explain much and didn't even answer my questions very clearly. I left feeling like I don't ever want to come back. I left my card in my other purse and the girl at the front desk was very nice about it and I called and paid for appointment as soon as I got home. I have been a patient for over a year at Jolly & Morton and I went in recently for my 6 month…read morecleaning and told them I was having some increased pain around my crown on my front tooth # 7 (had the crown for over a decade) and I have an issue with clenching my jaw in my sleep and maybe that was part of the problem. I didn't get much a response to this. I went in about a month later with more concern for increasing pain around the crown (sensitivity, throbbing). They took x-rays and said I needed orthodontics that it was my overbite & clenching causing the pain (had the crown for over a decade and never had this pain but ok), then they asked me if I wanted to do invisalign with them. I said no and went to an orthodontist and scheduled invisalign with them in a month. The pain in my crown got significantly worse over the next month and I called Dr. Anderson with Jolly & Morton to speak with him about my concerns, because something was not right. He never spoke with me, just passed a message to the front desk girl to tell me it was normal and I needed to correct my bite through ortho, there was no infection. Twice I asked to speak with him and twice he passed me off that my concerns were not legit. He suggested my orthodontist look at my xrays when i went to him. My ortho listened to me, my symptoms, did some evaluating, said it didn't sound right, and sent me to an endodontist for a more detailed eval.....and come to find out I had a fractured tooth under my crown and significant dead tissue causing the pain. I had already put a down payment on my ortho treatment and they already ordered my invisalign but I don't even know that I truly need it. So under the direction of Dr. Anderson, $5600 has been possibly unnecessarily spent thanks to a 'professional' dentist that didn't listen to his patient, didn't take his patient's concerns seriously, and pushed invisalign as a treatment rather than getting to the actual cause of the problem. Terrible dentist.

I have yet to be seen as of yet for I was an hour early to my appointment. Be back to finish this review.. I was called back by Ms. Carroll and she was a joy, and so was Ms. Kim and Ms. Sabrina. The whole process took only 20 minutes, and that included the time spent on X-rays. To make things worse, when I was checking out, they claimed it was a 'deep cleaning' and charged me extra. As a result, I had to pay for that cleaning entirely out of pocket.

The biggest issue I face is that I've been cursed with ultra-sensitive teeth. And most people who work on my teeth just butcher their approach. Lazy hygienists seem to prefer this approach over simply scraping away the plaque by hand. After circulating through at least 15 dentist offices in my life, I finally found Laser Dentistry in Franklin. The drive coming down from Nashville is absolutely worth it! At this welcoming office filled with wonderful employees who genuinely care about their pateints, they respect my wishes to avoid the dreaded Cavitron, carefully removing the plaque between my teeth one gentle scrape at a time. And that's all I've ever wanted. This is officially my dentist for life!
