Even though it's a 35 minute drive out of the way for me, I would 100% come again for future cleanings and dental needs.

Somehow, the appointment was changed to another date after my confirmation -- with no call, no explanation, and no notice. Impressive system. I drove nearly two hours in snowy weather and arrived on time, only to be told my appointment no longer existed that day. When I calmly showed proof and tried to explain, the staff's response was eye-rolling, visible impatience, and zero effort to help resolve an error that was not mine. I was left feeling dismissed, unwelcome, and frankly uncomfortable. I can't say why I was treated that way, but it's hard not to wonder whether appearance or background played a role when basic courtesy and professionalism disappear so quickly. When I asked for their names to document the incident, they refused and told me to leave. If accountability, communication, and respectful treatment matter to you, I'd suggest confirming things multiple times -- and maybe still prepare for surprises.

She ran back to the doctor with questions came back and said she wanted to have me call back . One thing that was different than my previous dentist is that Dr. Nam didn't do my actual filling. She administered the numbing agents and then another person came in, placed and set the filling, and then Dr. Nam checked this. In my other experiences, the dentist always did the full procedure, so this struck me as slightly odd. Other than that, office is clean, staff is friendly, and both appointments took me nearly on time (within a 5-10 minute window) which I think is pretty good!

His office staff is welcoming and friendly. My hygienist (Michelle) took x-rays, cleaned my teeth, and provided some pointers for flossing in hard-to-reach areas. Only the receptionist called me by my name. I prefer my doctors, nurses, dentists etc to be friendly, and I didn't feel like anyone here was particularly friendly. Not unfriendly, just not very warm. The office was in an older building, and it seemed like the place could use a few updates. The dental chair was torn. However, I don't mind those things too much. I've been to dentists with massage chairs and DVD players, so if that is what you're looking for, go somewhere else. If you want quick, professional service, come see Dr. Summerlin. I am very satisfied with the cleaning I got. My teeth feel great, I was in and out quickly, and Dr. Summerlin even joked and called me "boring" since I didn't have any cavities or concerns. The Doctor here is very calm, takes the time to explain the procedure being performed and the process of discussing cost is smooth and painless and very clear. The dentist was very skilled in that even for a tooth extraction there was adequate local anesthesia to the point where I did not feel a thing. There were clear post operative instructions and the support staff including the assistant are both; knowledgeable, friendly, and very task and work focused.
