Being Irish and married to an Irish lady, I am a Notre Dame Football fan! While watching the ND and USC game, a short video section came on that attempted to explain some of the traditions that existed between the two schools, including the Jeweled Shillelagh. The video also showed that the favorite jewelry company, the "Official Jewellers of Notre Dame University" is Images of Elkhart, IN. Throughout the many year rivalry, the Shillelagh has been adorned with either a Shamrock with an Emerald colored stone, or the Trojan Helmet with a red Sapphire like stone, depending on which team won that years contest. After seeing that short clip, I began doing my research in preparation for my Shamrock purchase! Monday morning I called Images and spoke with Shawn who, after hearing what I wanted and when I needed it, assigned my piece to Kelly, a true gentleman and artisan. Kelly was very helpful and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Kelly and I discussed precisely what I wanted and with that, the creation of my Shamrock began. Later that day I received a rendering by email. It was perfect and beautiful. A few days later, I received photographs and I was notified that the piece was ready, with a 18" chain. Well, it arrived today, boxed and wrapped and it is beautiful! Included in the box was my appraisal. I gave it to my wife and it looks great on her. I explained the significance and how I decided on that piece. The shamrock has a Columbian Emerald...very pretty. The hand written letter in the box was a special touch, and I will buy from them again. It's been along time since I experienced a customer service experience like this. Bravo! You guys are awesome. They said yes and they could do it in 2-3 days. I took my ring in the day I arrived. They verified it would be 2-3 days. Nine days later they texted that it was ready. I went in to pick it up. I am leaving the state now and was really disappointed that the ring had not been repaired. I cannot open it. The only thing I can tell they did was clean it. They charged me $58 and refused to give me a refund even though they did not do what I paid to have done. The rude man told me to leave it with them and he would fix it. He couldn't fix it in 9 days and I am out of time. He said "that's not my problem." Never have I been treated so rudely when a business clearly did not do what I paid to have done.

We came in and were immediately greeted by Paul. He is very nice and personable. I gave him my ring to size and he measured and gave me a few suggestions as to not weaken the thin band. We had brought with us some diamonds and gold not used in other projects and asked if he could use those against the price of the ring. He was very accommodating. He looked at my husband's idea and spent an hour with us going over designs and making my husbands idea come to life. He was very busy and told us upfront the project would take months. We had no problem with that as we were not in a hurry. We put a deposit down and Paul stayed in touch throughout the process. The result was nothing short of amazing! A gorgeous ring that we fell in love with. I wholeheartedly recommend Paul for any project big and small. He is an expert and can bring any dream to life.
