A year ago I wrote my review about this place. Their front staff is rude and will pull out some…read morecharges out of pocket at the last minute after you schedule surgery. Hear me when I say, do yourself a favor and cancel. That's what I should have done. I am still receiving bills from them. I have told them I won't pay them anymore money than I already have and yet they continue to bill me. It's a small amount but , now its the principle of it all. Medically speaking, no complaints. Its the sneaky way the front office does business that left me angry. I will NEVER go back.

Premier Periodontics…read more I have been a patient of theirs for at least 15 years. Between the hygienist and myself, we have kept my gums healthy. In general, I think they are good dental providers, but I had an unpleasant encounter with them several months ago that made me question their ethics. At my last appointment, I went to see Laurie, the hygienist in the Mercer Island office for a semi-annual scaling, which she has been doing for over 10 years. We had no problems other than I found her to be cold. Not a problem for me. Instead of cleaning, she did a surprise examination. She scheduled a 4-hour appointment over a 2-day period which resulted in her booking me for an invasive and painful $8,000 procedure. I told her I would have to postpone the appointment because I was not physically capable of enduring a difficult procedure because I had just returned from a month's long hospital stay. I needed some time to recover from that quite traumatic event. I called the office to schedule my routine scaling because she didn't do it at the last appointment. The receptionist said Laurie would not do the routine procedure until I had the surgery. Laurie refused to continue my care because I had postponed the very invasive surgery she recommended. From then on, she would not take my calls and blocked my emails. They just cancelled our relationship with no explanation. I was an ideal patient, always showed up on time, did all the homecare recommended and paid my bill on the spot. No one in the office in management would talk with me. I find this treatment so unkind and unprofessional. My late husband was an outstanding physician for 50 years and my son also had a long-standing medical practice. This kind of treatment would never have happened in their fine offices. On several occasions I asked for an explanation with no response, even though I said I was not seeking reimbursement. Simply a courtesy call from Laurie or their Management. I consider this treatment very out of line and worth warning other patients their focus might be more about making money than providing service.

I went to Premier for a consultation and they had an opening for gum grafting surgery within a week…read moreof consult which was really nice. All of the staff was really nice, most of them even seemed genuinely kind. I read the two bad reviews about the billing so just to add my experience, they were accurate with my estimate and had me pay before the surgery to make sure I agreed to the price beforehand, so I don't know if this is something they just put into practice but I'm glad I had the opportunity to make sure I agreed with the price. I had 3 areas in my mouth get grafting, they made it as pleasant as anyone possibly could. I hate things being done in my mouth so they did a great job keeping my mind off of it. Both the doctor and helper were fun to listen to. So, the day of was a bit sore but on day two (yesterday) I didn't even take any pain meds! I'm shocked at the lack of pain! She cut the roof of my mouth open in two places! I thought that would be the worst but it's literally never given me a second of pain! I'm hungry and live in constant stress that I might mess up the grafting with my disobedient tongue, always trying to root around my mouth to check out what happened to it! But all in all so far it looks amazing! I'll post pictures in a few weeks once healed! But as of now, 5 star for an incredible job well done! I'm so happy I finally did it!

Terrible front office and business practices. Buyer beware! I left a review last year which I see…read moreis no longer visible. All I see now is 5 star reviews. Not sure how they managed to do that but I shared my experience in hopes others would not be left with huge out of pocket expenses. Since then, I have received a invoice every month even after calling, emailing to inform them I was not paying another dime. Every time I receive an invoice, it makes me angry all over again. Buyer beware of their unethical business practices! It's unfortunate because medically speaking, top notch care.

Everyone is professional and so kind. I spoke with JoAnne who went out of her way to help me…read morefinance my needs. Unfortunately due to credit ratio we were unable to find a lender. However, she gave ways this still could happen. She offered hope. She and the team won't lie to you. They don't suggest short term options like many places I've been. They of course value your decision, yet offer what strengths your bones. I went for a free consultation and left with the determination of financing my needs as North Seattle Dentures and Implants are the only place I trust with my needs. They sincerely care about the clients. It's that feeling you get after being at so many places. That inner peace or gut feeling. You'll hear more from me once I find a lender. Judi

Truly, the Best…read more Dr. Nagatomo, and the full support team here are outstanding ! The Doctor is a good listener, and made sure that all of my concerns and issues were addressed before the surgery. I had her do 2 dental implants for me. I am very pleased with the results ! The process was smooth, and most professional. For the first implant I elected to be awake during the surgery. Everything went nicely. The Doctor, and her Assistant, Shauna were efficient and very thorough. (Shauna was so nice, too !) During the procedure they provided me with details on where in the process we were. There was no pain during the procedure. The pain after surgery was just for about one day. It is now over a year later, and I am most pleased with the surgery; the implanted post; and the top tooth. I had a second implant recently. For this tooth I chose to be sedated during the process. The implant went smoothly, and the results are great ! In a few months I will have a follow-up exam with the Doctor, and the schedule the top tooth. I don't remember much from the surgery, but observe that I have a great implant now ! The "support staff" in the office are excellent. The Front Desk staff person was detailed and helpful. The clinical staff were professional, and kind. Throughout the process, there was good attention paid to my comfort; and the overall focus on a "good outcome". Dr. Nagatomo is very experienced and well educated in this profession. She was very kind and professional in all of my communications with her. If you want "The Best", this is it.
