Doctor Kramer is okay but the front desk is a nightmare, shocking that the doctors don't do something about it. They absolutely never answer the phone, rarely call you back and are never on top of what you ask. Last time I called 12 times in a day (no answer) as I needed urgent help...I ended up driving to the office to talk to the front desk and called their contact department as I got there and witnessed 2 of them just chatting to each other ignoring my call. My wife and I have been patients here for 5 years and I've finally thrown my arms up in the air, not being able to contact anyone for years is infuriating. read more

ABOVE AND BEYOND!! Dr. Kramar diagnosed the problem with my 80 year old mother's eyes when no one else could. Without a solution, she would have gone blind. Additionally, when I told him the drops he had prescribed to save Mo's eyesight were roughly $500/mo, he actually got on the computer in the exam room and found a compounding pharmacy which can do it for around $7/mo. He saved an elderly woman on a fixed income about $6,000 per year. Oh, and his office runs like a tight ship. We never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting or exam room and we are typically out of there in under 30 minutes. Great doctor - great person! read more

I want to start off by saying I never write reviews. But this office is so frustrating I wanted to let everyone know that this practice could care less about its patients. They are unorganized, disheveled, always run late, and are unresponsive. Little things like trying to order contacts are made nearly impossible through this office. You will have to call 5x and visit 2x to try to get anything accomplished! My advice, go to a professional that cares. Go to an office that runs well and is not totally broken. read more

On October 2019 I visited Doctor Kramar's office (West Hills, CA) for an issue with my eyes, Doctor Kramar was very thorough and I was satisfied with his diagnosis! Unfortunately (10 months later) I lost my eye glasses and immediately called Doctor Kramar's office to get the RX prescription to get new glasses! Jennifer, office employee, told me that I needed to pay $55.00 to get the RX prescription! For three days I've been told by office staff that the prescription was going to be email to me and a password was needed to open the email; got the password but no email! I am very frustrated by the way this was handled, Jennifer was not very smart about handling this situation! I am moving on to another doctor, unfortunately the office staff can make a difference. read more

I saw Dr. Kramar for an eye stye--I had never had one and wasn't sure what to do. When I saw him he briefly examined me and said that I just need to do an antibiotic ointment after a warm compression on my stye. It's been two weeks and it has not gone down or changed at all... And I'm uncomfortable with his last piece of advice at the end of my appointment which was to try and pop the stye myself. So now I have to figure out how to afford to pay for another visit to another doctor to start the treatment process again. I'm sure he's a nice guy but he did the bare minimum and nothing from that visit helped my condition. I feel taken advantage of by that doctor. read more

we've been to Dr Kramer at both of his offices...a few times since we moved from NY to retire & come home to LA...He is so thorough...so gentle...always has the best diagnosis...and gets you feeling better instantly! I found my way to Dr. Kramer by way of asking my insur. co. for opthamologists in my network and area. I researched and read the reviews, so I called for an appt. When the office person asked for the reason for my visit, she asked if I could get there today due to the symptoms I described. I did and, from the moment I walked in, everything flowed like a well-oiled machine and everyone from lab/tech people to the billing person to Dr. Kramer were professional, warm, and kind. Dr. Kramer explained some things about eyes, so I had a reference for after when he explained what was happening with mine. My 10 year old daughter went into her optometrist for a routine eyeglass exam, only to find out there was something terribly wrong with her eye. Dr. Kramar got us in within an hour, diagnosed her with a potentially vision threatening virus, and started her course of treatment before the day ended. He contacted her pediatrician and kept him apprised as to what her diagnosis was. My 17 year old son had a stye on his lower left eye and a chalazion on his upper right eye. I called that morning and got an appointment for the same afternoon. We waited only 5 minutes before we were seen, and a very qualified, friendly assistant did some initial assessments. We then saw Dr. Kramer, who took the time to show us diagrams of the eye, explain the procedure he wanted to do, and make us feel very comfortable. My son had to have the chalazion excised, and Dr. Kramer was professional, at ease, and had a wonderful demeanor with my son. I found Dr. Kramer after a searcc on Yelp, and I can say that my family will be returning to Dr. Kramer for our ophthamology needs in the future.
