He was super upfront about what he could do and gave us recommendations even if we didn't move forward with him. He answered ALL of our questions and made us feel very at ease (especially after working with a contractor that was the complete opposite). Aston emailed me a very detailed and reasonable quote that evening and we hired him that next day. He is seriously one of the best contractors I've worked with (I work with contractors for a living so I've seen the full spectrum of good, bad, and ugly). He is super friendly and VERY communicative. I would rather have someone that over-communicates than under, because it removes assumptions from both sides. The work he does looks really great. After scraping the old texture, they skimmed drywall mud on taped joints and nail holes so that they very not noticeable after painting. The owner Dana was very thorough and easy to get along with, and I found him very accommodating to revise his schedule around my own schedule. Both the texture removal crews and finish painting crews were excellent. They were very conscientious of my furnishings and carpeting, by taping plastic all around to protect them from damage and debris. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the final results and the quality of their work.

Plus, they really care about the quality of their work and take pride in making clients happy. Our job was complex since we had a separate GC handling most of our home reno, but we did not like their drywall sub or their drywall pricing. So we needed to find someone else to handle a large chunk of the drywall. We knew when we met John that he was our guy. There were a couple instances where we needed to expand scope, and John's pricing was always fair.
