The following review is for my purchase of a new 2023 RAV4 Hybrid XLE in November 2023…read more After calling Zanesville Toyota to inquire about RAV4 Hybrid availability, I talked with salesperson Amanda. We briefly discussed the only RAV4 in stock in the trim level I wanted. Everything moved very quickly after the call. Amanda was straightforward and the deal was simple and easy to understand. Amanda paid attention to details of our conversations. I did not have to repeat myself or haggle about a single issue. When I told Amanda the tax on the offer was $100 too much, I got zero attitude. Amanda looked into it and the number was corrected. Amanda walked out to meet me as I pulled into the lot the morning I arrived. My appointment was at 9am on a Saturday and the whole deal was done by 10am. Amanda sat with me afterwards to make sure I got Apple CarPlay set up. She was totally focused on me and making sure I was satisfied that morning. That's a rarity these days. Overall, my experience purchasing from Zanesville Toyota was a dream. Taking time to write reviews isn't something I do often, but this review is deserved.

In the first instance, I would have given the product a zero star rating if it were possible, but…read morethe system does not permit it. Consequently, I purchased a 2021 Toyota Highlander from Zanesville Toyota, a brand-new vehicle, and it came with a lifetime powertrain warranty provided by the dealership. However, my Toyota Highlander has developed a transmission issue that necessitates replacement. Zanesville Toyota has informed me that their warranty company will not replace my transmission because I failed to change the air filter or cabin filter. Despite this, my oil changes and major servicing have been conducted in the past, and I have maintained a record of these services. Zanesville Toyota has refused to honor and replace my transmission solely due to an air filter issue, which is unrelated to the transmission itself. This situation exemplifies a lack of integrity in business practices and a failure to uphold the company's commitment to its products. I have no intention of purchasing any products from this dealership in the future, and I will inform my acquaintances about the poor conduct of Zanesville Toyota

While there I found out that an employee had been fired from the dealership for selling cars meant for auction. They said we could trade the one in that we have, get the new car, in and out, things stay the same. After waiting for 5 hours one of the guys offers us a deal that's more than twice what we're paying now. I told him that wasn't in the budget at which point he begins to try to pressure me by saying how the newer car won't have any problems and the one we bought is already having issues. They did say there is financing available to fix the thousands of dollars of repairs that are needed. First and last car purchased at this place.

Victory would not honor any of the work done even though the previous employees were still working there. I went to get an issue with my Highlander looked at by a mechanic and was told it would be $164 to hook it to the computer, when a computer issue wasn't even the problem. I will never go back. Way too much incompetence. After what I seen on Facebook yesterday and how these poor customers were treated, I am glad I will never do business with Victory anymore. I highly suggest looking elsewhere to purchase your vehicle.

A couple of days prior, my check engine light came on so I went on my computer. This is where my…read moreadventure started yesterday with me making an appointment for today. I was able to get a 0700 appointment. Showed this morning and was first in line. The doors opened at 0700 as advertised and I pulled in and got out of my car. I was greeted by Jason and he asked if I had an appointment. I stated I did for 0700. He looked on the computer and couldn't find my appointment but went ahead and booked me in anyways. I was getting an oil change. I told him that and funny as it is he said I should get a transmission flush and a radiator flush that I was overdue. I just had to laugh and told him no. Funny thing was I literally just watched a YouTube video that talked about Service Writers will always try to upsell these two services because of the huge margins they make on them. I then went into their lobby to wait. They have a great lobby to wait in while you wait. In the morning they free coffee and pastries for customers who are waiting. After about an hour Jason came in and waved for me. I followed him back to his desk. I told him I had a coupon for the service, he was a little perturbed by that and lectured me about it not being presented when I came in. No big deal, finished the transaction and he told me my car was outback. I went out and got in my car. Whoever moved my car had to be a short person because I struggled to get in because they had the seat all the way up to the steering wheel. Finally got in the car and adjusted the seat and started the car. To my surprise my I look down and my "Check Engine " light is still on. My thought was I should go back in and show them but decided it wasn't worth the trouble. I'll definitely make them come out to the car next time before I leave.

Bought a Rav 4 here 2 years ago. It went seamlessly. This time, the experience was much different…read more First, they had no inventory. I wanted a new Rav 4 and they had zero in stock. So they took my down payment, we agreed on a trade in price, and they ordered me one. I was told by the salesman "as long as you don't put 20,000 miles on it, the trade in price is locked in". A month later, my car arrived. I had put an additional 4,000 miles on my trade. Now, they say they're offering me $1,000 less. I raise his previous statement to the salesman Carlos and he says it's out of his hands. So I'm eating $1,000 right out of the gate. I needed a car and didn't have time to wait so I took the $1,000 on the chin. In the month that I was awaiting my new car, another payment was made on my old car. I was told, they'll send you a check for that payment. Got the check today. I made a $550 payment and got a check for $51.22. So this place essentially ripped me off out of $1,500+. Buyer beware.
