FANTASTIC!---just plain Fantastic! I've moved more that a dozen times in my life..including military moves and nobody can touch the great service that these guys provided. From Mike, the estimator that came to our house, (on time, with I.D. and professional brochure), through the scheduler and liason, Leanne, all the way to the movers: Kerry, Chris, Fernando & Adonay, they were FANTASTIC. The move was over a holiday weekend, and I had everyone's cell phone number and able to contact them! The crew showed-up 15 minutes early with a pre-arrival call letting us know they were close. They were neatly dressed with identification. They did a walk through with us where all our questions and concerns were addressed and matched the estimate exactly. They went to work and stayed busy like a troop of marching ants---every item was either shrink-wrapped, boxed, crated or blanket wrapped. They took very gentile care of all the big expensive items...they put padded guards on the door ways to protect the doors and items being moved. They worked well as a team and I was very confident in their truck packing ability. I have heard nightmares of other people's moving experiences...some were even criminal....we feel just plain "Blessed" to have found this company and had such a comfortable, non-eventful move. If MARK THE MOVER provides this quality of service at this price to every one of their customers, they will surely be a phenomenolly successful business and a leader in their industry for value and service. Mark the Mover is the best moving company ever! They were life savers for my last minute move. Everyone I worked with were professional and courteous, and the pricing for the services was very fair. I used Mark the Mover for packing my home, putting most of my belonging in their climate controlled storage facility, and for delivering all my belongings to my new home. Both Adam and Gibson with Mark the Mover front office we so great with handling all my questions, scheduling my appointments and keeping me in the loop communication wise. Mr. Charley Anderson and his crew (Fausto, Terry, Rodney, Devonte, Calvin, and Christopher) were so awesome with packing my home and loading everything on the trucks during the 2-day move out. I have never had movers pack me before and these guys were excellent! During the move into the new home, Mr. Charley Anderson and his crew (Fausto, Calvin, Devonte, Haddish, Nicholas, and Marquarious) put every box and every piece of furniture exactly where I requested and worked quickly. During both the move out and move in, Mr. Charley and his crew arrived at the time they stated they would arrive and the estimates that Adam/Gibson provided for time it would take for the packing, loading the truck/putting into storage, and taking out of storage/unloading the truck to my home was spot on. I hired Mark The Mover for a move from Atlanta to Winston Salem, NC. I could not be happier with the job done by Bruce and his crew- Marcus, Matt, and Andrew. They worked extremely hard, did everything I could've hoped for in helping me out on both ends of the move, were great people who were extremely polite and cheerful throughout the entire process, took the highest care not to damage our stuff or the houses on each end, and generally made every effort to make sure we were served perfectly by Mark the Mover. On top of all that, the price was the best I was offered for a "full service" move. I highly recommend Mark The Mover and will refer my friends, family and colleagues without hesitation. Don't even waste your time having other companies come to your home for a survey and estimate. The surveyor from Mark The Mover was the most skilled and made the best weight estimate of those I had at the house. The two large national companies I had out for an estimate made me feel as though I was about to get scammed. One gave a wildly high weight estimate and then offered a very high, set price. The other made a wildly low weight estimate and offered what seemed to be a reasonable price. Not so much. If I went with them I would've ended up paying way more than the estimate. Mark the Mover's weight estimate was very close to the actual weight of my belongings and the final price was very close to their offer, within 5-7 percent. after living in the same home for the past 40 years, my parents were moving to downsize into a smaller apartment. they were moving from a 5 bedroom 2800 house to a 3 bedroom 1400 sq ft apt. this was a huge adjustment for them and were having a difficult time processing this tremendous change in their world. moving day was going to be extremely stressful. upon recommendation from my friend mike, he suggested i call on the company mark the mover. it was the BEST decision possible for such a stressful day. it was a crew of 4 men. Antonio, Robert, Marco, and Eric. these men showed up promptly at 8:45am and were extremely polite and efficient. their demeanor never shifted, even after loading, three separate drop offs (my sister and i were getting things from the folks), and unloading. it was a 12 hour shift. i was so impressed by how kind and compassionate these guys were. here they are laboring for half a day and they never stopped smiling and being polite. it made for a very difficult day a lot less stressful. even when i had a mid day melt down, one guy, robert, took a moment to make sure i was ok. by the end of it all, there were lots of hugs and gratitude. i really could not have asked for a better crew to take care of my family on such a difficult day. they were pure professionals and i recommend you hire them for any moving needs. your money will be worth every cent. just wanted to share some concerns about my recent move. I have moved 5 times in the last five years (I am an expert movee at this point lol) and this had to be the most inefficient and longest move of them all. Three times I used movers--other times it was my friends, sons, and I and pizza and a 12 pack of Heineken--this slipshod move took less time. The first I moved from Stone Mountain to Midtown with a single family house full of furniture (three bedrooms including dining and a stop to the storage facility) the move took two men three hours. This job done by Mark the Movers not only cost me 120 dollars (in addition to a 25 dollar per hour additional after six o'clock fee!!!!!) more than that move but also took three hours; yet this time I literally moved to the building across the street. I read such great reviews here and hoped to have something positive to say. The cost far exceeded what I expected and the work done was substandard. I had far less furniture and only moved a matress and boxspring, two large shelves, one small, and four boxes of books. Many items my two sons and their two friends transported here in my mother's SUV. I could have purchased a new bed for that and just donated the books. Moving to Athens with the wife, a three year old, a very sick 8 month old, and the dog, at Christmas, after 15 years in Atlanta, was a very difficult process. Leaving our home where both children came home to, leaving our neighbors, leaving all the normal, familiar things we loved...all that was very hard on us. Mark the Mover, specifically John the owner and Coleman the crew leader and his team, made the process so much better...from the heavy lifting, to the professionalism exhibited in everything they did, to the upbeat and fun attitudes they had throughout the day, I cannot express loudly enough my desire to refer these folks. "The A Team" led by Coleman moved us this week. Moving is stressful. Everything about buying and selling was chaos, but our move itself was a piece of cake. We owe a huge thanks to the team with Mark the Mover. Coleman and his team were on time, courteous, professional, and efficient. When a piece of furniture didn't fit easily through a doorway, the team worked to make it fit without damage to the house or furniture. During the loading a piece to our son's bed was mistakenly picked up by a junk company. After the trucks were unloaded and we were moved in, Coleman and his partner went to multiple stores to find a replacement part. This level of service is hard to find. These guys know what they are doing, and do it with professionalism at every step of the process. My experience started with Kevin in the sales department. He was very knowledgeable about the moving process and set up the right team that would complete my job in the shortest time and in the most efficient manner On moving day, the team and truck arrived on time and the moving team got to work. They worked efficiently and were very helpful throughout the process. When we got to the destination, the unpacking process was done in an equally efficient manner, paying attention to detail. Based on Yelp reviews, I called Mark the Movers for my cross town move. They did a great job overall! The crew arrived on time. They were friendly, prepared and started right away. What most impressed me about the crew was the caution they took with all my stuff, no matter how big or small. All items were protected with blankets and then shrink wrapped. The crew worked slightly over the original 3 hour time allotted. The only reason I am not giving Mark the Movers 5 stars is the crew chief made a negative comment underneath his breath at the end of the move when I tipped them $40 per man (which I thought was generous for 3.5 work). I am not sure exactly what he said but I didn't get the impression it was positive. read more

We just used Mark the Mover for our move. The did a Great Job. We had Glen's crew, great group. They arrived on time, worked hard, and protected all of our stuff and both places. Not even a mark left on the walls (I've done that just moving things around the place). I guess they were a bit more then some other companies... but you get service, comfort, and security in this group moving all of your stuff. For us, it was well worth the money. We will use them again for our next move and have recommended them to our friends already. We've done moves for less up front, but they cost more in the end. We were moved today by Charley Anderson and his wonderful crew from Mark the Mover. Charley, Faulto, Keith, and Lee arrived early and began working immediately. They wrapped everything in shrink wrap and took the kind of care you hope movers will take. We haven't found a scratch or a dent anywhere. (We will be unpacking boxes for a while, but we are confident that we had the best move anyone could hope for.) They took great care with our appliances, and re-installed them in our new home. They protected our hard wood floors as they hand-moved our furniture. We could not be more pleased! Very pleased with the services provided by this company. Moving is miserable, but these guys did all that they could to help and for the most part we're very accommodating with our sliding schedule. The guys that helped us - Joe, Gaylen and Anthony were friendly, polite and patient with our less than stellar packing and they worked their tails off to try to keep within our desired timeframe. Timothy too was great to step in and suggest we take an extra day to pack. They arrived on time, took great care with our "stuff" and we're awesome to work with. "They" were Andrew, Robert & Demetri, who left quite an impression on me & my husband. They met us at our home in Atlanta at the time we requested, followed us to our cabin in Blue Ridge that we are selling, packed up and loaded the contents, followed us back to Atlanta and unloaded everything. They worked efficiently as a team, were careful with our belongings and were full of good cheer throughout. Kevin asked the most detailed questions out of all the moving companies I called, which signaled to me he was truly scoping out the work / giving me an honest estimate. They also sent 4 guys which was NECESSARY for the amount of things we had. Every other company only quoted me a 2 man team. And the crew team who helped us move were wonderful! We used Mark the Mover on July 7th. Mike G. called to confirm the move the day before and called in the morning of the move to let us know they were on their way. The arrived right on schedule! Their team jumped right into action and before we knew it, they were on their way to our new apartment. The team was very professional and nice. Charley now has a new name "Miracle Worker". Charley and his crew, Fausto, Gibson and Bill did an outstanding job of moving half of our treasures from Atlanta to the side of a mountain in north Georgia. The truck couldn't get down to the house so they had to hand carry and use hand trucks. It took a total of 16 hours from start to finish. I don't think any other company would have attempted this feat!!! Well, in a couple of weeks we will be calling Mark The Mover again to request the "Miracle Worker" to move the last of the treasures. I could not be more pleased with the group of five guys that Mark the Mover sent out to help us move a heavy upright player piano and various items we'd been storing at my parents house before a large move. They had to contend with an inclined driveway, and two stairways (one which was around a corner) and a chatty homeowner. And then we took them to a storage bin, and they were fantastic there too.
