I went into emergency because I was short of breath. Wow, come to find out it was my heart. I was…read morehospitalized for 3 nights and 4 days. I received the best of care, the doctors were outstanding and everyone on my floor provided me with compassion, kindness and respect. In fact, my nurses went above and beyond their regular duties, i.e. found a charger for my phone, had a wonderful NCIU nurse come in and handle my tiny veins, to all the little touches that make a difference in a hospital stay. I was so spoiled I would not have minded staying longer!

The most recent incident involved my daughter, and despite contacting the emergency line twice, we did not receive a return call from their office. Nevertheless, it is anticipated that the hospital will submit a claim to my insurance provider for services that were not rendered. My daughter's condition has not improved since our visit to the hospital. Furthermore, the emergency room physician consulted his personal device and requested permission to photograph the injury for research purposes. This level of care is concerning, as I could have independently sought information and a potential diagnosis, for example, through an AI-powered conversational agent, which proved to be more comprehensive and empathetic in its response. For future eye-related concerns, I recommend considering Jackson.

However, my experience completely turned around today thanks to two incredible employees. Emily (aka "Ann"), a main hospital Receptionist, was wonderfully helpful, answering my call and encouraging me to let her transfer me directly to the clinic. Once transferred, Cassidy, Assistant to Dr. Khan, absolutely took ownership of my issue. She kept me updated, called me back to confirm my referral had been sent to Stanford Medical Center, and Cassidy even took the extra step to call Stanford to verify receipt and let me know exactly when they would call to schedule my in-person appointment. While the communication system was initially frustrating, Emily and Cassidy's outstanding professionalism and genuine proactive dedication made a HUGE difference today! Many, many thanks Emily and Cassidy!!

What is the point of scheduling an appointment, when AH is sabotaging themselves with idiotic procedures? There has to be a better option when Adventist Health is failing, on so many levels, to provide even basic medical care to the communities they are here to serve!

I have to say some of the best providers, professionals and service I have ever seen in my 45 years experience of healthcare. The care and service given to the patient was amazing. He could have died. Dr Tang and the nursing team was the best. The CNA 's Maria & John - great care and so compassionate. RN Hannah, Shantell, & Sam omg Thank you best care ever. The ER staff was great but to stressful so did not get all the names. The care for heart issues was amazing. Thank you for saving my Tiki Hubby Life. (Will be awhile before Chicken Fried Steak)

The Dr. sold it to me saying the recovery time is faster while she didn't mention as I would be informed by the Anesthesiologist, that some woman have gone blind from this surgery.I didn't do my homework about this Robotic procedure. After 3 days into my recovery my bladder burst open.I went to Renown a trauma hospital which I highly recommend in Reno Nevada. One of the lasers nicked my bladder and I was stitched up. 4 Years later my bladder burst open again. It turned out that a piece of the robot had been left in my body. The O.R. Nurse was blamed for the incident. My message is this: PLEASE KNOW YOUR HOSPITALS,Do your homework regarding your surgery's.Get a second opinion. And choose to be cut open slowly with a scalpel. Anything robotic is insanity! My message to Barton Hospital please only handle sprains and breaks. Please send all patients to Renown or Saint Mary's in Reno. I almost lost my life twice because I foolishly believed the title Dr. The infection caused me cirrhosis of the liver which I recovered from. I also had several teeth that needed implants. I've learned to pick my hospitals wisely and to go see the Dr. who specializes day after day for that specific surgery. The Da Vinci robot belongs in the trash. Sincerely, Natalie

My husband who is retired fire/paramedic drove her down to angels camp to this facility since it was the closest one opened. They were waiting over an hour with no one in the waiting area. The PA assessed my aunt for stroke. After noting she had no signs of a stroke, had her nurse clean the wounds. My husband was shocked at what the protocol was. They used water and dabbed. He asked why not use hydrogen peroxide and scrub since she clearly had dirt, clots of blood and flap of skin. He was told they don't use peroxide anymore. They proceeded to put a steri strip on a wound that was about 3" in diameter. Then said the X-ray machine was down and sent them off. My aunt went to her local clinic the next day when she got home. They were shocked at the dressing and what little was done. They did exactly what my husband knew needed to be done, peroxide and a good cleaning. Plus, X-rays of her shoulder and shin. Thankfully she was fine. Very sore, but fine. Pretty crappy treatment, especially on a elderly person.
