The best food! OMG! The burgers are even special!! The location is amazing with inside and outside seating and two bars. But the service is like no other I have seen. The best people work there!! They make time spent here something special!

Lovely restaurant for lunch on the water with friends. We came on a Tuesday around noon and there were plenty of tables available outside on their patio. Raven was our server and she was wonderful. They were out of 2 of the drinks we wanted and she happily helped us pick/ create new ones. We ordered a combo of apps and salads for lunch and we all shared. Everyone was pleased with their meals. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Reasonably priced and great service! The watermelon cocktail is a must!

It was a beautiful afternoon, perfect for sitting outside. Must have been what everyone else had in mind too - there was no one inside and a lot of people outside. Was waited on right away by Darcie. She took drink orders and within minutes she was back with iced teas. We ordered the "Chips & Dips" for starters ($10.). It didn't take long for her to return with them. Tortilla chips, with a small cup of corn, Pico de Gallo, and bean salsa and another small cup of fresh guacamole made this a very good starter! For my entree I ordered their "Chef's Special Burger". This is an 8 oz blend (Elk, Bison, Wagyu, & Wild Boar) patty on toasted brioche, with toppings of goat cheese, tomato confit, crispy red onion, basil, arugula & fig jam. ($22.). It was delicious and cooked just as I had requested. All of the toppings combined with the burger made for a very tasty meal! This also comes with truffle fries which were very good! As the sign at the entrance states, each meal is prepared from scratch to ensure quality and authenticity and so a longer wait time for your meal may be expected at peak times. It's a good thing we ordered the Chips & Dips because it took a while for our entrees to arrive. That being said, the wait was worth it. Our server, Darcie, was polite, friendly, and helpful. She checked on us throughout our meal and brought extra ice for our teas. We enjoyed our food and I highly recommend you check them out.

Remodeled inside and not sure what it was before. Nice table by the window since it was overcast and might sprinkle. A/C was cranking so bring a jacket and we were adjacent to the bar and the music while a good playlist was loud. Seated right away and once our server was tasked it went along pretty well. Garrett did a good job and was good about asking up sell questions. Got me to buy a beer. The beer was a draft Stella and it was stale. Switched to a bottle without issue and you could really tell the difference. The fish sandwich was ok and the fries were very good. Fish portion on the sandwich was a tad small but what was there was flavorful. The Frutti Di Mare is what brought me through the door from looking at the menu (note the update it often so what is on Yelp is dated so I uploaded new ones) This portion was large and full of seafood. It was with a red vodka like sauce that was delicious. Pasta was hot and cooked just right. Check out the photo. happy Hour 5-7 but that was not mentioned to us but is on the menu. Gonna be back. See ya there.

Beautiful view with outdoor and indoor seating on the river. Lots of dock space to come by boat. Tiki bar is the perfect place for happy hour (M-F 5-7pm). Fun music and lots of tables. Full bar and a mix of seafood and other Caribbean and southern dishes. Came in for lunch when they opened on a weekend. We were one of two tables. The server was hard to find and once the food came, we didn't see her until we went inside to ask for the check after a very long wait. I had the Caribbean chicken bowl and hubs had the beef stroganoff. Both were too salty. I would go back for their happy hour in the tiki bar. Might try some other food, but weren't impressed with the initial visit.

Neat tiki bar on the water. Just happened to be there when "Benji" was playing. This dude is awesome. The chicken and churros were tasty and unique. A great Sunday afternoon hangout!

A great location with good service! We always look for new spots on the water to enjoy a nice evening out and Marker 99 fit the bill for the evening. The location is great, right on the intracoastal and tucked far enough back from US1 to seem cozy and secluded. The staff is very friendly and the only hiccup there was a host not recalling or realizing he had a whole other section outside to seat guests but we quickly overcame that. The menu is somewhat limited but yet also very diverse. We initially struggled to find something we'd want but then had to decide between several options. The food was decent but honestly not great or anything that would make me recommend them. I do however recommend Marker 99 for the ambiance. If you want to relax and have a couple drinks (and perhaps an app) in a relaxed and picturesque setting, this is a good locale for that.

3.5 First experience was not good. We went 45 mins before closing. They couldn't get a host to seat us. Once we were seated no one would wait on us. A couple servers walked passed the table & told us someone would be with us. Never happened, we went to the bar after about 10 mins. We ordered drinks, food was done at this point. Bartender was pretentious. He asked if I liked my drink, I told him not really, it didn't have much flavor. I ordered it from their cocktail menu, the drink wasn't worth $12. He mentioned he's made the drink many times and so on. After the rain, we left & ordered drinks elsewhere. We didn't enjoy this experience. Second time was much better. Our waitress gave us recommendations (first time trying the food). We sat outside during the day. Nice views, on the water. The food was tasty & fresh, it didn't take too long to come out. We did have to wait a while for her to bring our check.

A couple of cool cats enjoying a lovely night at 99 markers!!!

Walked in and was greeted and welcomed! we chose to sit at the outside bar where our bartender Lauren, attentively waited on us while seemingly running the inside and outside bar!!!... who could possibly be mad with a great staff and a great view. ps if your in Florida on Vacatiom why are you in a rush and what's a few minutes or 5?!....

    Flat bread, Marker 99! Excellent

This latest visit was a perfect example of why many longtime customers are giving up. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, the kind of day when this place used to be packed with people waiting for a table. Instead it was surprisingly quiet and the inside bar was empty which should have tipped us off. After our recent experience, it's obvious why. We waited for over an hour for two sandwiches. Not a complicated order. Not a huge party. Two sandwiches. During that entire time, there was no sense of urgency from the bar waitress, no effort to keep us informed and no indication that anyone cared that customers were sitting watching the clock. When we finally asked about the delay, the response was "it's busy outside", it wasn't , in fact almost nobody. But after waiting for over an hour, customers don't want excuses - they want someone who actually cares and seems concerned about good service. A simple apology, an update, or even a little empathy would have gone a long way. Instead, the attitude seemed to be that our frustration was somehow our problem. Then the food arrived. The mahi Reuben was a complete disaster. The bread was so soggy and waterlogged that it literally fell apart. It wasn't just bad, it was inedible. Who knew that sour kraut must be at a premium when it wasn't even added. Any kitchen, or server, with even the slightest standards would have thrown it in the trash, along with the cold soggy fries. Instead, it was served without a second thought. The most frustrating part is that this isn't a one-time experience and seems to be more the norm than the exception. The kitchen has been going downhill for a while with LONG wait times and mediocre food and it seems that nobody is interested in fixing it. Orders take forever, quality continues to decline and the response from staff seems to range from indifference to excuses. A restaurant doesn't survive for decades because of its building or location. It survives because of loyal customers. I've know Pineda through many owners, it now feels like management is relying entirely on a reputation that was earned decades ago while doing very little to maintain it. After almost 30 years, this was the worst experience I've ever had here. An hour wait for two sandwiches, and inedible meal, and the only explanation being "it's not my fault." Maybe that's the problem. Everyone has an excuse, but nobody has a solution. At this point, the biggest disappointment isn't the food, it's the overwhelming feeling that nobody cares. And it's sad, as I've met the owners at their other establishment - I expect and deserve better - especially at $17 FOR A SANDWICH!!!

Busy, but not too crowded, bartender was excellent. Started off with a vodka martini (was going to order oysters). Ordered the beet salad to start and it was huge. They had imported oysters from New England (Wellfleet) so ordered a 1/2 dozen to go with my martini. Excellent presentation and taste. Next was the peel and eat shrimp. Big and not overcooked. The cocktail sauce was good, with lots of horseradish. On top of all the good food was the atmosphere. More like a resort than a restaurant. Great view of the river. **INITIAL REVIEW**…read more When it comes to the restaurants within Downtown Melbourne/Melbourne Main Street, I often stress that the ones on the edge of the river and/or marina are some of the best ones if you want a meal with a view. The Mansion and Chart House come to mind. The one my family wanted to go to was Ichabod's Bar & Grille. Unfortunately, its popularity exceeded its capacity and the waittime was over an hour. Ergo, we went to their sister location on Melbourne Beach, the one right across from Paradise Beach. Maybe, I was expecting a bit more as the Melbourne Beach location is the newer location meaning it had the OG to learn from, but it did not live up to that standard, at least the one I had in my head. Though an address is provided, this Ichabod's Bar & Grille - which I will shorthand simply to Ichabod's for the remainder of this review - is located as a stand-alone business right across the entrance to Paradise Beach. Ichabod's surely has that look of being a dockside restaurant despite being "landlocked," but good luck parking nearby. The parking situation has always been bad around the area. Inside, the seating is limited in which the majority of seating seems to be at the two bars. I guess Ichabod's is catering to a certain demographic pertaining to who dines inside. Outside, there are more tables for families and groups. That is where my family and I sat for our meal. Our waitress Jordanann, God bless her soul, was the only waitress working. She was running around like a chicken with their head cut off as she served everyone both inside and outside the restaurant. Despite her situation, she remained focused and kind. I definitely gave her a big tip for how hard she worked. As for the food, it was... well... okay. I always get fried fist fillets whenevere I come to a new seafood restaurant, along with crab cakes. There was shell in the crab cake, which I find to be a bit of a norm with a little piece, but there were some thoroughly recognizable pieces in my mouth when biting right in. And the fish, well... it was... okay. Not the best fish I ever had, but not bad where I would not finish it or at least take it home. Other food my family ordered includes the Mahi Sandwich, Our Burger, Shrimp Wrap, Caprese Burger, Jerk Mahi Plate, and the Jerk Shrimp Plate. Overall, the initial visit was very lacking. Though I do not fault the waitress herself, I do fault the restaurant for only having one waitress for this shift. I assume they are having a troublesome time keeping staff. I will definitely come back and give them a second chance. Can't just say Ichabod's is what they are over one visit, but for this initial visit, this is the kind of rating I would give them. If they improve over an average, i will reconsider changing the rating and updating the review.
