I chose Coa for my 40th birthday and it was such a great experience. This was months ago but I haven't forgotten and would love to come back soon. Our server (I wish I remembered his name), took his time to explain every item on the menu and help us pick out things we would like. We ended ordering too much food but everything we had was absolutely delicious and memorable! We had the sweet potato tater tots, the Korean rice cakes, Korean wings, and their version of mozzarella sticks, plus a couple more things. We needed a box by the end of it! Wow! This was such a cool experience. We wanted to stop in to the lounge for some bubbles and small bites and I'm so glad we did. When we got to Coa they instructed us to head over to the sandwich shop and wander through the freezer door. What a cool idea! Their "hidden" not so hidden lounge is fantastic. Super cool for a date night or girls night out. It was really quiet and intimate. The drinks were phenomenal! Our bartenders were the best. Fantastic conversation, great vibes, and super attentive. The lounge itself if beautiful, very comfortable with an upscale atmosphere. The food was good but not my favorite. The lobster roll was good but there was so much going on with it that it just didn't highlight the lobster meat and the amount of wasabi pearls were kind of overpowering. I ate what I could of the meat and abandoned the rest. I had a bite of his wagyu hotdog was good. We will absolutely be back when we return on our next visit. Great service and tasty food! Came for a wedding anniversary and did a RSVP for 2 people which was easy to book. Ordered: - Brussels 9/10 (good flavor - texture on softer side) - Japchae 9/10 (not standard "japchae" I expected, but menu explicitly lists that it's an udon noodle - this was probably my favorite dish!) - beef tartare 10/10 (needs extra seaweed chips) - Spicy rig 9/10 - Wagyu hot dog bao 6/10 (just not my thing) - pistachio ice cream with chili oil 5/10 (as expected - wouldn't need to order again) - 1 glass of wine - 3 cocktails Total $233 before tip Really like the Asian fusion aspect of the menu and that they switch it up/try new things. Definitely pricey, but we got a good amount of food based on what we ordered and ended up being really full and taking food home. Ambiance is nice - although, I still don't love the little bugs flying around the moss ceiling (a complaint I had from last time I came last year). Parking is normal Cocoa Beach parking. Starting off by saying their 20 oz Wagyu is the absolute best steak I've had in the Space Coast and the best I've had in Florida. $140 may be intimidating to some, but it was worth every dollar. The service here is A+ top notch in the industry. They run their production almost as tight as The Bear on the TV Show, YES CHEF! The drinks are unique and poured well. They came out fast, great bartenders on both sides (lounge and restaurant). The food comes out like a production line up of a play...first was some amazing carrots and mozzarella sticks...both absolute stunners. Rolling in next was the outstanding blast of sweet potato tots. The glaze on these is an epic delight. The mountain of mushrooms came out looking good, the mini tacos looked amazing, and then KFC! We had two people in the party order this awesome plate of Korean Chicken, like some General Tso's style nice and spicy. Next out was the Asiago Noodle Pasta entree, it was a hit. Last but not least was that mouth watering beautiful slab of wagyu. Oh what a treat for us all. I was worried at first about this servers suggestion of "sharing everything is how the chef intends it" but the way they present, serve, and flow with the appetizers to meals fills EVERYONE up and was a wonderful surprise of so many different flavors. Wow. What an amazing addition to Cocoa's Culinary scene! Well, perhaps the beginning of it. Lol. My family and I are in Cocoa from Orlando quite often and we have our regular roster of restaurants that we like to go to. But none of them could be considered fine dining or even "cool, foodie" restaurants. Coa Cocoa Beach is the first of that kind here. The second we walked in we were warmly greeted by "Fin", our server. Since it was a slower night, only he and one other server, who was also the bartender, were waiting on tables. Fin had several tables he was juggling ( I think they got busier than they had anticipated), but managed to do it with grace and ease and not only had our food and drinks out quickly and efficiently, but also managed to talk with us and make us feel heard and welcomed. He did this with each table. I've truly never seen a better server. Thank you, Fin, for such an amazing night! We started off with cocktails, and both were incredible. I had the "You are my Fire" and my wife had the "Goodnight moonlight". Mine had just the right amount of smoke- very little. Ha. As for the food, WOW. I started out with the Roasted wild mushrooms- I LOVE mushrooms- and they were amazing. For her entree, my wife had the Miso black cod and it just melted in your mouth. I had the Whole branzino special and it was sooo delicious. It had some peanut Thai type sauce on it which complemented it perfectly. For a side we had the Tempura Fried Artichokes, and I have to say that they were STUPID good. Just lightly fried and amazing. From the service to the cocktails, to the food, to the beautiful interior ( with cool ROPE (?) covered walls) COA was amazing. We'll be back! read more

The appetizer I didn't know I needed in my life. 5 stars - Shrimp cocktail: probably the best I've had. 5 humongous shrimp perfectly cooked and chilled. Served with a Thai peanut satay sauce that was delectable. Didn't envision this combo and it worked so well. 5 stars - Lamp chips: 3 nice pieces my husband and friend enjoyed. 4.5 stars - Miso cod: solid version marinated as expected with 2 pieces plus bok choy. 4.5 stars - Umami fries: large plate of perfectly crispy curly fries with Japanese spices on top. 4 stars - Mozzarella sticks: long rectangles covered in a panko potato mix. Crunchy and gooey. Paired with ranch and guachong sauce. 4 stars - Artichokes: 3 large lightly fried pieces which looked like chicken wings. Could've been sliced into smaller bites. 3.75 stars - Dining room: modern bougie vibe. Long bar across the length of the restaurant with a few higher tables of in back (shaped like elongated guitar picks) and a banquettes. A living wall ceiling and artsy wooden touches. Midlights - Flank steak: large slices with not too much flavor. Most unremarkable item we had. 3 stars - Water service: need bigger glasses or for them to leave a carafe on the tables as they didn't come by to refill often enough. Being in a tropical location, hydration is important. - Drinks: cocktails sounded fancy but were just ok. Even their version of a smoked old fashion was lacking in the smoke reveal. Firstly, the restaurant had a great layout. Plenty of areas for groups and smaller parties. The drink menu is well rounded, with a comprehensive wine list, and a fairly extensive bourbon list. The food was extremely well prepared, and presented well. Atmosphere was welcoming and very friendly, with a selection of shareable appetizers, and entries. Will definitely be going back. read more

Coa is an awesome upscale dining and cocktail option in Cocoa Beach! The inside is elegant with a beautiful bar and a tropical wall, and the menu is tapas style and meant to be shared. I have been a few times since they opened, and each time it has gotten better. I personally prefer to get cocktails in the Coa Lounge next door, which often features a DJ. In the main restaurant, I don't love the cocktail selection and prefer to order off menu. The food is delicious-- some of my favorite items were the Thai peanut chicken, the calamari, the vodka pasta, and the giant mozzarella sticks. We did the restaurant side for a date (great date place, by the way) and had an awesome time. The drinks were really good and I got some steak and pasta dish that I enjoyed. The waiter was really good and made a lot of recommendations and answered our questions. It's worth checking out and has a different vibe than the other places around it. Service was great, food is well done and the portions are not as tiny as one would expect. There are a few changes I would make however, and I hope the manager is reading because I want this new business to thrive. First of all, there is a burger on the menu that is not available until 8 PM. And the place closes at 10! This should be available at all times, we eat early like a lot of people and this was a bummer. It's a tease, and it looks like one of the best items on the menu. Also, a lot of these menu items are spicy, and they need to make sure that there's an option for people who aren't into that. Maybe add one more salad or pasta item... Also, the Matcha mocktail was almost undrinkable...literally ground up grass. We would go back. I'd like to try to whipped ricotta and the burger! read more

We went to dinner on Easter Sunday evening. It was not busy at all which we anticipated since everybody did brunch there... Our server was Zach. He was very friendly, very knowledgeable and very attentive to us... We coursed out our meal there for about three hours from start to finish and honestly everything we tried was really great. The timing of the meal was fantastic, The quality of the food, the temperature, the taste... everything great. This place only opened about five weeks ago so all the kinks have been worked out as far as I can see, even the bartender came over to make sure that we liked the cocktails she was making us. I have been wanting to try COA for months, and it absolutely exceeded every expectation. Every time I sell a home in Brevard, my husband takes me to celebrate at a new restaurant. Since my most recent closing was in Cocoa Beach, it only seemed fitting that we finally experienced COA. We started with the Caesar salad, the chopped cheese rice cakes. We had originally ordered the KFC dish, but I have a severe shellfish allergy. Our waitress went above and beyond by coming back to let us know it was fried in the same oil as the shellfish. I truly appreciated her attention to detail and commitment to my safety. Instead, we ordered the 20 ounce New York strip medium rare, and I never imagined my shellfish allergy would end up being a blessing in disguise. It was, without question, one of the best steaks we have ever had. The temperature was perfect, the presentation was beautiful, the flavor was incredible, and it was unbelievably tender. Every single bite was exceptional. To finish the evening, we shared the pistachio gelato, which was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Excellent food is one thing, but outstanding service and genuine attention to your guests make an experience unforgettable. We will absolutely be back. I truly hope this restaurant becomes a long term staple in Cocoa Beach because it deserves to succeed. If the owners are ever looking for additional exposure, I would love to help. We had pre dinner mojitos in the lounge and they were great. The mojitos In the restaurant were not. But our server ordered and picked some up from the lounge for us (different bartenders). Both the lounge and restaurant are beautifully decorated and the lighting just perfect, creating an elegant ambiance. For dinner we had the filet and branzino, both were very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The filet however was very small. We also ordered the trio of sauces for the steak, but not sure we needed it. And we finished with the crème brûlée, which too was excellent. Dinner here is pricier, but worth it if the same quality is consistently delivered. Last night's dinner was less of a meal and more of a masterclass. Part AI think tank, part real estate power summit, and part culinary adventure. Joining me were Luther from Streamline, a guy who knows more about AI than most sci-fi authors, and Diane from Symplifi, whose fintech brilliance somehow made sense even over cocktails. My wife Alyssa, the barefoot-on-the-beach, contract-slinging ninja from Curri Properties, brought the charm and the martinis (complete with blue cheese stuffed olives that basically made her night). The starters? Absolutely fire. A glazed carrot dish that felt like a spa day for vegetables, Korean barbecue chicken that brought just the right amount of sweet heat, and a Hamachi Crudo that arrived floating in cucumber water like it had just emerged from a high-end Nordic spa--avocado mousse, furikake, and micro-cucumber accents included. Main course? We shared a beastly 20oz NY Strip that needed its own zip code, and a pasta dish that came with a disclaimer: Not for spice wimps. Naturally, Alyssa devoured it while mocking me for waving the white flag halfway through. (Some battles are just not worth the heartburn.) Our waitress Carrine did an excellent job making this an exquisite dining experience. The food has immaculate flavors of savory and spicy. The atmosphere makes me feel like I am on vacation, even in my home town. Coa provides a Michelin-star dining experience without needing to even label it as one. I eat here often. Food is OK. Ridiculously overpriced. It's better than fried food fare from beach adjacent restaurants. Had brunch by myself. Toast eggs and bacon. About $70. No complimentary mimosa and explains why the place was dead on a weekend. Favorite item on the menu is the eggplant. That's it really. The chopped cheese & king crab tagliatelle are Michelin star worthy! I had a very disappointing experience at Coa's. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was disorganized and inattentive. My meal arrived late with badly burnt potatoes, and my cappuccino never showed up until we were literally walking out the door. ​Due to a dietary restriction, I had a health scare regarding potential cross-contamination. Our original waitress never came back to check on us, so I had to flag down different staff members just to verify the ingredients in my meal. ​The most confusing part was the end of our visit. We had a medical emergency and needed the food to go. After first bringing the food back in a bowl instead of a container, the server finally brought a box but strangely tried to get me to eat out of it right there, even waving the food at me, after we had already explained we were leaving for urgent care. A wonderful family dinner at Coa. After all the talk, we decided to give Coa a try. We started at Coa Lounge and enjoyed some handmade cocktails before dinner. Their bartender stirs up some pretty imaginative drinks. I brought a couple bottles of our favorite Cabernet to enjoy with dinner with their corkage fee at $35. The restaurant vibe is refined and laidback. Service was prompt and professional without hovering over our every move. The menu items were imaginative and shareable with our servers timing and pairing each course. We never felt rushed. We are looking forward to the Koko Coa dinner on July 22nd. read more
