The line looked long at first but only took 10 minutes to get through. We sat down to order and was informed that they were still in the tail end of breakfast service so lunch would start at 11:30 am. So we sat for a bit and then the waiter came back around to take our lunch order. Sandwiches and burgers are ~$20 so closer to $25-30 after tax and tip. We got the B-Line Burger and Grilled Chicken Burger. Both were great and the fries that came with them were excellent as well. The food holds up its end. The Squawking Goat delivers an oversized fried chicken filet, a fried goat cheese patty, pepper jelly on a biscuit tall enough to need a stake through its heart. The chicken and goat cheese are the stars; I could have done without the pepper jelly. The biscuit is nice, if outshone by its fillings. The menu is fun, with clever variations on the chicken-and-carbs formula, plus serve-yourself coffee and communal seating built for the crowds of friends you hope will fill that giant empty table. It's a shame this warmth lives in a strip mall. It deserves a quainter setting. 4.3 A more memorable biscuit (and a home worthy of the hospitality) would push this higher.
