As soon as I landed and made my way to the hotel, I was starving so B-Line Diner it was! I was greeted and seated fairly quickly. Once seated, a waitress came over and dropped off a menu and water. Ordered the Fish (Salmon) Sandwich with chips. The sandwich was good for what it was. The salmon was fresh and I really enjoyed the mango salsa served on it. One negative was that the avocado was not as fresh as I would have preferred. Overall, the service was good and the food nourished me which was the goal. If you're staying in or near the Hyatt Regency Orlando / Convention Center, B-Line Diner is a super conveniently located establishment with pretty good and reasonably-priced (for a high-end hotel restaurant) food and desserts. It certainly has a diner feel, so it's definitely not fine dining, and despite potentially large crowds due to events going on throughout the week, its flow is well managed and long lines don't take too long to get through. I stopped by with a party of 2 right after morning rounds of competitions in the convention center, and hopped in line around 11:15 am on a weekday. The line looked long at first but only took 10 minutes to get through. We sat down to order and was informed that they were still in the tail end of breakfast service so lunch would start at 11:30 am. So we sat for a bit and then the waiter came back around to take our lunch order. Sandwiches and burgers are ~$20 so closer to $25-30 after tax and tip. We got the B-Line Burger and Grilled Chicken Burger. Both were great and the fries that came with them were excellent as well. Portions are between fair and generous, and after a nice shared key lime pie to round out the lunch, we left satisfied. Ambiance is casual and service was good. Boom. Solid experience at B‑Line Diner inside the Hyatt Regency Orlando. I had the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken, and everything came out really fast, which is always appreciated, especially in a hotel setting, with plenty of things to do instead of take a long lunch. The service was great--attentive without hovering. The salad itself was huge, topped with a very generous portion of grilled chicken that was tender and, importantly, not dry. Big win there. The dressing was nice and balanced, though I will forever wish for more feta (always more feta). The roasted chickpeas were good, but I wish they'd been toasted just a bit longer to get some extra crunch. Not bad at all, just missing that final texture pop I love in a salad. Even at 9 PM there was a 45 minute wait for a table. Fortunately, we snagged two chairs at the bar. Ate dinner at the B-Line on day 1 and then breakfast on day 2! Overall a really solid place. It's a pretty large place with lots of seating. Service both times was spot on. And everything was clean from top to bottom. For dinner, you're looking at mainly sandwiches and burgers. My rueben was really good for a "diner". We got cheese fries as an appetizer and wow, it was huge. Really, very tasty indeed. Breakfast was pancakes and omelets. Again, exactly what we wanted. Perfectly cooked and look at those home fries! The only reason to not give it 5 stars is it is pricy for what it is. But, it's a hotel restaurant so that's to be expected. I ordered a burger with fries. No complaints at all, it was good. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals too. I walked here to grab breakfast because I wanted eggs Benedict. The menu said it came with bacon instead of ham which would have been fine but came with what I think was a sausage patty. My eggs were overcooked and the hashbrowns were fine but just plain hashbrowns. One of the simplest and best dishes is the chia seed pudding. Such a healthy option and keeps you full for hours. Perfect to keep up with health needs too. Decent hotel diner done in a 50s style. Open early, so good for breakfast and lunch as the other places are mostly closed until dinner time. Came here once for dinner and a second time for brunch. Brunch was better than dinner. I got the cajun seafood bowl for dinner and it was ok, but almost all the protein was shrimp. Also, it was a bit too salty. Some of the veggies were still frozen. My son's burger looked uninspired, but he seemed to like it well enough. Brunch was an omelette with hash browns and toast in the side. I think because breakfast food is more suited to diner style than dinner, it was a lot better. In terms of ambiance, they nail the 50s diner style even with a cool retro juke box.
