I really like Market Street. It is on the pricier side and I don't do my main grocery shopping here, but do find myself here often because they have good sales. Also, their produce department is fantastic. The store is large, clean, they ALWAYS have several check out lanes open, and it is just a good shopping experience. There is a very large prepared food area, bakery, and specialty cheese section. They are doing a bit of remodeling, so their wine department has been cut down and it is very dark over there. However I trust that once it is finished, it will be even more impressive. read more

You gotta luv a battle between Texans! I mean these guys outta west Texas are gearing up to whip the Goliath out of San Antone that is HEB! The Grocery store wars in north Texas are heating up big time. This isn't unusual. Many challenges have come and gone. A few names you may recognize are Food Lion and Winn Dixie! Gone and Done street! The only positive thing out of all of this madness is, selection and pricing seem to be turning in the consumer's favor. Take Market Street. There's a lot to like especially the store size. They pack a lot of options into a smaller store which is attractive to me. Wine, seafood, meat, and produce are all there. The prices trend higher on staples but,that's what makes it work. It's obvious most of the Market Streets in north Texas are revamping to meet HEB head on with things like a " beefed up" meat department. Prime Aged Beef! I like these guys more and more. Especially now that they've lost the only kid in town attitude and seem to be serious about customer service. There was a store employee helping someone find a shelf item right in front of me! We lost Central we love market Street. The process are bright and the selections are good. They have what we're looking for and it is fresh. They have one of the best meat departments around. Beautifully displayed beef, chicken, pork, and an extensive seafood selection. They are one of the few that actually have fresh not frozen salmon. And not just one type of salmon multiple types of salmon. We've also changed all of our prescriptions to the Market Street Pharmacy because of their prices but also because they are friendly and knowledgeable. They keep up with our immunizations and when they are due and give them to us right there. David, the pharmacist is the best. read more

visited market street Colleyville 8/24. it's a 40 minute drive from where I live to market street. I purchased a six pack of Sunkist orange soda. when I got home I opened 3 stale flat 16 oz sidas. I called them right away to see about a reimbursement. Customer service said they can't refund over the phone and I have to drive there to get a replacement or refund. I think that is pathetic they won't honor their products on the phone. I purchased $117 worth of groceries. So I have to eat the $5.00 flat produce. It takes over $5 gas to get there. read more

In the vein of Central Market is Market Street, a large, diverse groceries and prepared food offering that boasts quality and quite a bit to look at. We came here on our last visit to pick up a dessert for a post-Thanksgiving day gathering and went with a Tres Leches cake, priced a little high at $19.99. But, I was under a deadline and the cake looks amaze balls. We also picked out a couple of beers, Rahr's Winter Warmer for me and True Love sour by Martin House for her. Winter Warmer is a solid seasonal, but I was hoping to find something a bit more obscure in their large cooler. Alas i found mostly blondes, IPAs and other conventional beers. There's also a "Beer Cave" which seems to me like QuikTrip shtick rather than something I expect from an upscale grocery. It was stocked with Coors Light, Bud, Michelob Ultra, etc. *Snore* The rest of the Market Street is primarily a "really big grocery store". No larger than Walmart, and definitely not discounted. The main selling point for me is the specialty and prepared foods and the eating area. I'm not sure why I would need another grocery store. There are so many such places. In my opinion, Market Street is just a tick below Central Market in that its food-to-order area is slightly smaller, it doesn't have gellato or a anything like Central Market's bakery, and on my last visit there, admittedly on Black Friday around noon, the store itself was a bit messy. I do like the in-house Peets and the sushi counter. The Wine selection is extensive but spread out based on an organizational scheme that was not obvious to me. I also found the beer selection, though large, lacking in styles I personally enjoy (I'm a barrel aged stout guy). Four stars because they do what they do well. But, from a brand standpoint I don't feel myself drawn here over other options. read more

I take my daughter to some appointments in the area, so I've found myself really wanting to find a reason to visit Market Street, knowing that it's so close by. I needed cupcakes for an event.. Market Street always has a variety of freshly baked and frosted cupcakes for $6 (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, red velvet, cookies and cream, and lemon) -- so I had the perfect excuse to go to Market Street and enjoy the atmosphere. It's like a Central Market mixed with a really nice Tom Thumb... a focus on Texas-made, local products and produce and proteins. The prices can be pretty high compared to a typical chain grocery store, but you'll also find surprising deals and hyper-local, quality foods. I recently bought several fresh, ready-to-bake sides that are each smothered with cheese, bacon crumbles, green onion, broccoli, and hatch green chilies. I got baby yellow potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, zucchini boats, and jalapeño poppers. You bake them for like 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees F and they're delicious (but I think they need seasoning!) and they're only like $3.99-$5.99 each. It's a lot of food, too! All of their ready to cook and ready made meals look pretty tasty, the salad bar too. I always find a delicious piece of beef or seafood or wedge of cheese here. And seasonal decor, of course. You have to go upstairs to the little gift shop which is so festive and cute and cozy (but costly). read more

Market Street will always be a favorite of mine. They've done an excellent job at navigating business during the pandemic as well! I will say I do miss back in the day when they would do the free samples. However something I love that they do now is an abundance of freshly pre packaged take home meals! Healthy ones to boot. It is a part of my routine now to come here after I teach my Monday night class at the gym and do a little shopping. The produce section is abundant and they always have some fun item that I cannot purchase at other grocery stores. If you are a fan of flowers or home goods this is also a nice place to stop by for a bouquet or perhaps some fall scented candles. The wine section is another fave, often times again I'll find something here I can't locate elsewhere and often for a better deal. The health and wellness section is stocked with all of your vitamin needs and for you bath bomb/incense fans they will have you covered. I could pretty much spend half a day in here just exploring all of the fun treasures I find. And seriously you are probably not supposed to have THAT much fun in a grocery store! I have been utilizing the grocery pickup service the store offers and have been nothing but satisfied. The best part about the service in my opinion is that every time I have an order and there's any kind of a question about it or an issue with it an employee calls me and works out any kinks with me. Very timely very efficiently. It usually has to do with online and digital coupons and weekly ad sale items and sometimes availability. Another good thing is that they waive any fees if you spend a certain amount which is great. And the employees who do the shopping and bring out the groceries are not allowed to accept tips which to me is nice because it's not like your service is going to be good or bad based on how much you tip somebody. read more

So I'm on the hunt for white miso. I came across this cod recipe and I want to try it. After striking out at the local stores, I expanded my search. The most logical choice was Central Market, and they indeed had white miso, but they only offering was a rather expensive organic variety. So my next closest choice is Market Street. I did even worse here. The only choice here was a pricey organic brown miso. So I struck out again. Guess I need to hit one of the mega Asian markets in Arlington or Carrollton. I had no idea that just plane old miso was so hard to find close to home. That being said, I do like Market Street. The prices are better than the aforementioned market and I find the meat and seafood counters to be very good. Produce section is good as well. There also a decent selection of gourmet cheeses and wines (limited variety of beer). The food court, which is also listed in yelp as "Market Street" is a decent option for a quick meal (with plenty of options). If it was not so difficult to get to (from Keller - as there is no good wast/west route), we'd come here more often. read more

I've been going here for 15 years, as it's close to my Church gig. It is the best grocery store and my favorite, since I've been in Dallas ('92). It is not close to my residence, therefore I only visit on occasion. (1-2+ Sundays\mo.) I'm impressed with their salads (not the salad bar), pizzas, hot meals (next to the sandwich station), prepared meals, cheese section, Turkey selection, Fish section, Sushi selection... Everything!! I wish they would put one in Dallas proper. The only area i don't like? Their Bakery section. The Best Seafood in the area....I will drive out of my way to stop in here and shop. They have outstanding deli, cheeses, meats and wine selections. Fresh veggies and everything you could want - I will ONLY buy my seafood here period. I have tried so many other places and it is an afterthought elsewhere, but here it is truly as close to a fishmonger as you can get. I was meeting a friend in Colleyville for coffee and she suggested Market Street. I had never been to the store previously. I soon fund out I was in for a treat. What a beautiful store! The cafe area is wonderful and offers a myriad of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My friend and I headed over to the coffee bar and I ordered a latte. Yummy. It was as good as my favorite coffee shop. I also ordered a pastry to munch on while we chatted. We headed upstairs where it was quieter. What a neat view of the store. Been shopping at Market Street since it opened. Over the years the level of service has dropped significantly. My experience is watching baggers drop my groceries from 1 1/2 feet into the bags to baggers sniffing my groceries before bagging. Ive had to wait 30-40 minutes for your rediculous deli crew to cut meat. I've NEVER seen a worse managed store in my life. I've had enough! Today I was the only person in the express isle and the snot nosed blonde guy that's checking out gets on me for having too many items in my cart. I had 11 instead of 10. I left the cart and walked out the door for the last time. With our lake home, parties, holidays, etc it was not uncommon to have $400-$500 shopping trips. Who knows what we spent yearly? But you have lost it over 1 item and a SHIT attitude . Your prices are higher than any other local store- I will now switch all of our groceries to Kroger, Tom Thumb and Albertsons. I have shopped here many times while visiting my parents who live in the area and like this store a lot. My most recent shopping experience here was for Father's Day lunch. My sister and I arrived around 8 AM fueled with coffee from the Starbucks across the street and were thankful right off the bat with the 2 cup holders on the grocery carts. We entered into the "food court" area where people were eating breakfast or in line for made to order breakfast tacos among other breakfast items. There are several different food stations that make your food to order in front of you - in this area there are also numerous prepared meals that are ready to heat and eat. The next section we explored was the produce department - great selection and produce prices (.99 vine ripe tomatoes). Next we got to the meat department with so many yummy sounding preseasoned and nut-breaded fish and chicken options. Unfortunately, we did not get to try any of these since we were shopping for hamburgers. We purchased 10 plain sirloin pre shaped burgers and 5 jalapeno cheese sirloin burgers. Their preshaped burgers were so thick we had to cut them in half for the kids so that they could open their mouth wide enough. We also noted the Bison burgers for when we need a low calorie burger. They have a large selection of bulk bend items - yet a very limited wine selection and their prices are all over the place from low to way over priced. They had some great produce prices yet the Newman's Own dressing was 6.29 and twice what I usually pay for it. read more

This is the very best grocery store in the DFW area. Market Street has an amazing selection of products, they check you out, bag your groceries and carry them out to your car. True old school grocery store but very high end. Prices aren't Walmart prices but you're very much paying for the fabulous quality and service. We moved away for a few years and really missed this grocery store. Literally one of our deciding factors to move back here was having Market Street again. read more

Cheryl was so very helpful while I was shopping for customers using the Instacart app also Bob was super helpful and my cashier Lauren was amazing! My phone battery typically runs low when I'm doing grocery shopping for customers so I brought a spare battery pack that typically stays charged for four days however on this unique day my battery pack died on me and I had 24% left on my phone and Cheryl came to the rescue and helped me locate items remaining in the customers order. Never again. 3 pickup orders, waited a week for my slot. Ordered essential items website allowed. Allowed substitutions but no help. Just before pickup time, emailed to confirm time. Called, no products available. 1 delivery order. Waited week to have delivered. Received text message driver was picking up products and gave approx time for arrival. Then received text message that driver had picked up order and had tracking info. Did the track and showed order HAD BEEN DELIVERED. NO, IT WASNT. Called store, no manager on duty, to call back some other time. They apparently dont know anything about delivery OR drivers. 2 phone numbers listed to call about problems......only 1 can handle problems with orders or delivery. I love Market Street because of all the different types of food you can buy here. There are so many things they sell here that I DO NOT need to be eating, but I do anyways because, well, they taste good. Market Street is always clean inside when I go, and the employees are always very friendly. Their deli area is massive, serving up all kinds of pre-cooked items, breads, fresh seafood, cheeses, etc. The Sicilian-style marinaded mozzarella is fantastic! One of my favorite, most random things to buy here are maki rolls, which I absolutely gorge on. They're just seaweed-wrapped rice crackers, but Tom Thumb (my usual grocery store) doesn't sell them, and I hadn't seen them since I moved away from LA, thus leaving behind my beloved Trader Joe's. I'm happy to be able to buy them here :) Thank you, Market Street's "Asian Foods" section! All in all, I love Market Street. The only thing I dislike is having someone walk me out to my car to load up my groceries for me. I don't know why, but I hate carry-out service unless I've purchased something way too large for me to carry on my own. On the other hand, I LOVE the fact that, since all your items are loaded up for you, the employees all take the carts back into the store themselves. You will notice that there are no cart caddies anywhere in the lot because of this, which therefore means there are also no stray shopping carts littered around the lot, begging to put a dent in your car or block your parking spot. I've noticed that a lot of people have mentioned their prices, but I really think Market Street is fairly cheap. Given the area and the type of foods they sell, they could definitely get away with higher prices... but I'm glad they don't try to! read more
