I live in San Antonio so I was getting a cake delivered to my friend's house for his birthday. They were one of the only other bakery's in the area open Monday and past early afternoon. But when I called the day before they couldn't customize the cake shape into a heart for me and I saw they had a heart shaped cake. They also couldn't write happy birthday and they offered a happy birthday decoration instead, but when I requested it the decoration was never added. Tried the tiramisu cake this time, and overall it was decent but not quite what I was hoping for. First off, presentation wise, it looked really clean, sharp lines. Texture was definitely the highlight. The cake was super soft, light, and airy. It wasn't overly wet or soaked like some tiramisu cakes can be, which made it easy to enjoy without feeling heavy. Really nice, spongy consistency. That said, the flavor fell a bit short for me. I was expecting a stronger coffee kick, but it was pretty mild and didn't really come through. I frequent this location when I'm in the mood for a sweet treat. I like the variety of offerings from savory to sweet. This location is always very clean and not super crowded. My favorite cakes are the green tea and mango cloud. Super light and airy - perfect for Texas summer! I enjoy their macarons as well. Very well balanced and not too sweet. I've tried their matcha drinks a few times as well. They aren't fabulous but I'd consider them decent. I will say they are on the pricer side as the cake slices are small and about $7 each. You can also purchase a full size cake for around $40-$45 which is more reasonable. read more

Came here for the Hello Kitty Holiday Cake. I had never been to this place, and I did call ahead to order the cake. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with beautiful cake displays and pastries everywhere. They also had Christmas decorations, to celebrate the season. When I walked up to the counter I gave them my name and phone number and the friendly lady handed me the cake to take home. I really liked the fact that they provide you with as set of candles to celebrate a possible birthday or just for fun. At home I opened my box and the cake was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. We ate the cake and it was pretty good, we really liked the fact that it wasn't overly sweet. The whole family enjoyed it and I wouldn't mind coming back to try more items they have to offer. read more

Yikes, the Temu of France. If you're looking for a cozy and authentic French bakery experience, you might find this one disappointing. The atmosphere feels worn and could really use some attention; a fresh coat of paint or more durable materials to coat the walls would help. When it comes to the baked goods, I appreciate the presentation often seen in European bakeries, but nothing tasted or seemed fresh here. There are many packaged offerings, which might be convenient for grab-and-go customers, but they definitely take away from the warm, freshly baked aroma you typically hope for in a shop specializing in sweet breads. While the selection may initially appear appealing, the lack of freshness significantly affects the overall experience. I tried a total of four food items: the chocolate croissant and chocolate pretzel pastry were nowhere near the light flakiness you'd expect from a croissant or pastry, so I didn't finish them--they simply weren't worth the calories. The coffee cake had a nice coffee flavor, but its dryness was disappointing. Lastly, the strawberry "cheese" cake was a disaster; you can find better dessert options at the grocery store. There is definitely room for improvement in both quality and ambiance. Music plays from behind the register, making it difficult to hear the very soft-spoken workers. I recommend moving the music to the corners near the entrance or restrooms and away from the registers where communication is necessary. This location is very skimpy on their cream filled items like morning bread, it barely has any cream in it when it should have more than a sliver. I seen all their cream filled items are basically just a slim spread and this is not how there suppose to be made it should be filled to where the cream slightly gushes out. I don't recommend this place seems like their trying to save a lot of money and provide the least for the same high price. my items had 0 cream filling. read more

We love the sweet treats offered. We come in often on a Saturday night. We would suggest that employees stop cleaning floors around customers. It's very uninviting and uncomfortable. Plus the floors look horrible because the store is full of people walking over wet floors. You don't even close for two more hours so cleaning this early is ridiculous. I appreciate a clean store but you can do it when there are no customers. read more

Did not like this place at all. The person serving me was quite rude, felt like I was inconveniencing her by ordering. I ordered a specialty coffee and when I almost finished it, opened the lid and there were food crumbs at the bottom of the drink. This would not make sense with the drink ordered and made me distrust the cleanliness of the place. Overall not a great experience. read more

Tour les Jours is a crème de La crème experience. Their pastries are baked daily, and there are so many options to choose from. Croissants, pastel de nata, palmiers, cream filled pastries and breads, sausage pastries, hot pastries, fruit flavored cakes, and their coffee menu is simply delicious. Tour Les Jours is a newer, or at least new to me bakery in Colleyville. It is tucked back on 26 vs the highway area that most folks are used too. They have a set up where it is a grab the items you want and check out ... outside of things like cake, macarons & drink options. I've been able to go twice and while everything has been decent enough some thing just didn't hit the mark for our tastes. Though those thing might end up being a favorite for another family. I still need to come back to try a slice or two of their cakes that we have not had the chance to try out yet. When I heard there was a French bakery in Colleyville, I had to check it out. When you walk in, there are tongs and a tray to select bakery goods. The interior of the bakery is bright, airy and inviting. I picked up some pastries, a vanilla latte and macaroons. I recommend their vanilla latte it is subtly sweet and pairs well with pain au chocolat pastry and the almond croissant pastry. One of the best almond croissants I have had, the filling is delicious. I tried a sausage pastry that was delicious as well. The lady who rang up my orders was friendly, quick and attentive. The prices are on par with other bakery shops. Was running errands nearby and dropped in on a whim. Iced green tea latte was great, and selected several pastries to share. The sesame donut had great flavor but the texture was a little chewy. The blueberry cheese danish was awesome the next day, and the milk bread was sweet and moist. This was in the late afternoon, it sounds like mornings have even more selection. I popped in on my birthday because I love pastry but don't get it very often. Inside was very clean, simple and modern. You grab a tray and tongs and after grabbing the pastries of your choice, you bring them to the register to pay. Some items like cakes and macarons are in a refrigerated case and staff will help you with those. My three stars are for the pastries alone. The main reason I went was for the almond croissant, one of my favorite pastries of all time. Unfortunately it was disappointing. An almond croissant should be rich, buttery, and have a lovely almond paste filling. This croissant had none of these characteristics. It was dry and had zero almond flavor, and none of that almond-y goodness in the middle. I got a few other things but sadly none of them were good enough to bring me back. read more

What a gem! We were looking for a place that offered Ube Lattes and happened upon Tous Les Jours. We were able to get our fill of Ube Lattes and they were delicious. They have delectable pastries and other treats as well. We also purchased some Ube bread and that has made amazing toast. Wonderful bakery filled with fresh and unique pastries. Service was kind, friendly and informative when i asked about a drink. Ambiance is always soothing and relaxing to be in. However, a bit sad about my blueberry cream cheese pastry. There was little to no filling on the inside. The kimchi croquette is mouthwateringly good which was a pleasant surprise! Delish!! Im always skeptical of the chain bakeries because they don't always succeed in putting out fresh stuff that TASTES fresh. Tous Les Jours does a great job. Love the variety of sweet and savory, plus the options of meat filled pastries for breakfast and snack. I typically get a box to bring home for breakfast and my kids love it. Everything I've tried have been so yummy. My favorite is the spinach feta danish. So flaky and just the right amount of filling. I've tried the tomato olive danish, crispy almond pastry, chocolate avalanche, kimche croquettes, the curry croquette and croque monsieur. My only advise for y'all is, don't go hungry to the store coz you're gonna get everything you see (that was me). We also got a loaf of their multigrain bread for my dad, he wanted it not sliced so I picked it up the next morning. So so fluffy and yummy. Love this place and they got a loyal customer in me. So, bought a Latte and some pastries. Disappointing. Latte didn't taste like a craft coffee and the pastries were at best, supermarket standard.
