I called All Rooter, and they came out to take a look and quoted a fair price. They were able to schedule me for a couple days later. While doing the cleaning, they said that they noticed a break in the line to the main sewer and explained the Private Drain Program, saying that they were able to provide the service for calling the city inspector and getting a work order approved to repair it. She advised us that the plumber coming out would let us know the difference in price from the quoted price she gave us over phone of 940.00. The plumber came out and informed us he could not complete job today and needed to discuss with his supervisor and get back to us with an updated estimate. We were then told we had to pay a CALL OUT FEE of $140.00. WE WERE NOT INFORMED OF THIS WHEN APPOINTMENT WAS MADE. NOT ONE COMMENT ON THIS UNFAIR CHARGE. Training needs to occur with the scheduling as this is NOT good customer relations. THIS SHOULD BE CONVEYED TO THE CUSTOMER WHEN CALLING. WE NEVER WOULD HAVE AGREED TO THE APPOINTMENT HAD WE KNOWN THIS.
