The first company we called tried to, I assume, take advantage of the hot temperatures and gave us an astronomically high quote (7x higher than Air Source 1), which we declined. I can't recommend Air Source 1 enough. We will certainly be using them for any and all HVAC needs in the future!

My only quibble was the price; the last time we had this done, admittedly before the advent of relatively high inflation, was significantly less (different company). However, I did expect prices to raise, so this was not that much of a surprise. I do feel like the price was fair, but on the high side of fair. I would very much recommend Chicagoland Plumbing Services, and Mr. Janik in particular, to do a complete, efficient, quality job. The work is not cheap-quality never is.

(Note: unless they're licensed, your warranty will be void. We didn't know better). The unit was just over 5 yrs old ... yikes. Fast forward to us scrambling to find a responsive plumbing service/contractor because the leak was constantly flowing. After several dead ends over a span of a few days, I found All About Plumbing. Ray and his team were very easy to work with. Responsive. Very reasonably priced. Ray recommended a great replacement and was able to come out on short notice (less than 24hrs). The only downside is that this business doesn't accept Credit Cards (they only accept check/cash/zelle) but I can't completely fault them for that. They're just a little more old fashioned with their operations. All in all, very happy with the service. I'd definitely reach out for any future needs.

The tech told me $600 to fix the problem. $600 !!! Outrageous. I googled the issue and followed directions. It cost me a total of $200 including parts and 1 hour of my own time. I question, do they work on commission and keep all the extra margin $$$$ I understand making $ and don't blame anyone however this was outright taking advantage of us! So shop around and get many quotes for your plumbing job.

I called Kevin on 3/28 and he told me he would be at my house between 1 and 3 the next afternoon. He called at 12:30 and said he would at my house in fifteen minutes. Kevin knew exactly what was wrong, and told me what to do. He said if I was to do the work it there was no charge, but if he had to put his tool belt on he would charge. I did what he told me as he watched over me and also helped. Kevin did not charge me, but I wanted to give him some money for gas. If it wasn't for Kevin I probably would of had a foot of water in my basement during the 3/31 storms. The next time I need plumbing work done, Kevin is my go to plumber.

Joe tried a few unique approaches. He was methodical, patient, and really took the time to diagnose the actual source of the problem. He tried a few different things and eventually figured out what was causing the blockage. He ended up getting everything cleared without any unnecessary pipe replacement.
