I'm hoping to ride this baby off of the lot today :) Also plan to handle registration & inspection myself (I am trying to upgrade from a Honda 250 to this Honda 600). So far, I've primarily dealt with Ellen at the front desk. First over the phone, and then in person. She has been very kind and helpful, and has been able to secure and offer me a good deal. Perhaps if I'm handling the registration & inspection myself I might be able to receive a further price deduction... or perhaps a voucher for their riding school instead? Who knows? Couldn't hurt to ask :) I'm a new rider and have my permit, and have been riding my little Honda Rebel CMX250 with some confidence for some time now. Not a great highway bike though. Took her on a couple times anyways. As a person who is always running late for everything, the power and ability to take the highway if I want or need to will be invaluable. Getting ready to head back over to the dealership. (I was also there last night.) Hopefully we can close and I can ride her off the lot today! My first purchase was private sale and ended up being more of a project bike than I had time or money for. I'm hoping this bike will be ready to go with no issues for the foreseeable future! I took a basic welding class to make a barn star at the Garrison Speed Shop in Mendon,…read moreMassachusetts. I have never welded before or used some of the tools and equipment required. The template pieces were all laid out, but that was it. Co-founder Luke had me read and sign all the releases first, and asked about my experience with welding etc. Being a Veteran myself, Luke as well, and the non-profit supporting Veterans and First Responders, he also made sure to ask me if loud noises or anything would bother me. Every step was explained and demonstrated before I was able to do it, and as nervous as I was at first, it quickly went away knowing he took my safety, the safety of others as well as their shop very seriously. Co-founder Ben also provided some muscle when I was unable to bend the metal myself. In just over 2 hours I had sanded, measured, re-measured, bent , hammered and welded together a really cool one of a kind 5-sided barn star. It was definitely something different to do and it was a really cool and fun experience. 5 stars !

My experience with Middlesex Power Sports / Old Outboard Marina or what ever else Mario is calling himself now, was exactly the same as other reviews you will find on the web if not worse. Mario had my boat for no less than...wait for it...4 1/2 years (not months, years). During which time I stopped in many many times to check on its status. I had to stop in as Mario does not take or return calls. In fact most of the time you can't even leave a message as his message are full. Twice when I visited I found he had been evicted from his place and the boat along with most everything else was gone. Tracking him down to his new location was both time consuming and as anxiety packed as you can imagine. At one point he did have it finished (although not tested) and was delivering it too me only to have the back engine cover fly off on rt 495. Mario did not lock the cover down and it was caught by the wind and flew off. This was a truly rookie mistake that could have easily killed someone. This is a much longer story than I have time to write here but after all the pain, anguish and time, Mario ended stiffing me for $200....sigh. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BOAT HERE AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UP FRONT!

I bought a Specialized Turbo Creo SL Expert EVO bike (it's an e-bike) from Belmont Wheelworks (BW)…read moreat the end of February. I had trouble locating this bike at any bike shops in Massachusetts but BW had three of them in stock (M, L, and XL) so I was psyched to check the bike out in person. I bought the bike (well over $10K with tax) when I went to their Trapelo Road location to look the bike over and bought several biking-related items (Garmin bike computer, headlight, shoes, tool bag, bike fitting, seat, etc.). The bike purchasing experience was great. I worked with Scott, who was very friendly and patient and knew tons about the model I was purchasing as well as about e-bikes. I spent $100 for a fitting appointment and Jack handled that and ensured I got fitted to the new bike with the new shoes I had purchased. I had an issue with the bike I purchased being put on sale by Specialized for $750 less - I called BW to ask if they would refund me the difference (this was 2-3 weeks after I purchased the bike) and the person I spoke with was aghast that anyone would ask for a refund like this. Less than a week later Clint from Belmont Wheelworks left me vmail apologizing for the confusion about getting the $750 sale price difference refunded and stated that he would be issuing a credit to my credit card for the $750 plus tax. I was very happy to hear this! I was so thrilled that I returned to BW to purchase tire repair tools + sealant for the tires on my new Creo (and spent another $87). Clint was not available during my last visit so I was unable to thank him in person but hopefully he sees this and knows that I greatly appreciate him working with me on this issue. I also want to mention that there is a H-U-G-E selection of bikes at BW - the biggest I've seen since International Bike had a store in Allston in the nineties so if you are looking for a new bike, I would recommend you stopping at BW. I love the Specialized brand and to me they have the best and biggest selection of Specialized bikes I have ever seen. I went to Landry Bikes in Braintree before I purchased my Turbo Creo from BW and they worked very hard to sell me a Trek bike at a similar price point but my research and personal experience showed that the Specialized is a MUCH better bike. BW also has an excellent selection of shoes, seats, helmets, tubes, tires, repair kits, headlights, Garmin computers and tons of other gear for bikers of all descriptions. Some of the clothes I saw were very expensive ($200 for a pair of biking shorts???) but the selection is quite large and I would venture to guess that you can find anything you need for your biking workouts/excursions/commutes/whatever during one visit to BW. I will be taking my bike there as soon as I get ~150 miles on it for a free tune-up and I am looking forward to seeing how their service department is (I am sure they are top notch).

They said the estimated time for this would be around 5 days. After 10 days of them not contacting me, I called them. They said the write up was ready so I went to shop only for them to tell me it is not ready and to come back in a couple days. When I went back, the person who did the write up lost the paper and we had to go back AGAIN for a new paper. A 5 day simple write up turned into a 3 week back and fourth with this shop (and 3 weeks with no bike which is my main form of transportation). Story #2: I asked for 2 tubes for my bike and they gave me 2 different sized tubes BOTH OF WHICH WERE NOT THE CORRECT TUBE. Story #3: I asked for a tube for my bike and I gave them the model (which they sold to me). The person asked me what size it is which I forgot. So he replied "well I don't know that bike go figure that out yourself" (while he was at a functioning computer in which he could have looked it up for me). Story #4: I also had a kick stand repair after it fell off (my bike has a specialize built in kickstand) and it fell off again after 2 rides.

Matt being the guy he is went above and beyond to tape and protect the roll bar paint in my chevelle. But due to the cage not being prepped correctly the paint came off while I removed the tape. Matt could have told me to pound sand but instead told me to bring it to him and he would repaint the cage. It's really nice to work with people who care about your projects. This has been a dream of me and my dads for years and just as I thought things couldn't get any worse matt swooped in and saved the project. I honestly would never use anyone else but matt at New England Trim. Thank you again you don't know how much we appreciate what you did for us

The windshield had to be removed and replaced after the installation of the liner. Lindsey coordinated with the glass company (Roy's) and they got the whole job done in less than 32 hours. They did an outstanding job on the headliner and thoroughly cleaned the interior. They were highly recommended to me by a local Body Shop. AND, I would highly recommend these people to anyone! The only downsides were waiting for an appointment (because they're in big demand), and my wife didn't like the smell of the adhesive after we picked it up. I should have waited a few days before taking her for a ride... All thumbs up!!!

Our typical flatness less than .001" over the ENTIRE surface of the cylinder head, end to end. This far exceeded OEM specs and traditional engine machine shops can't touch our tolerances. You want your cylinder head back in days, not weeks. With lapping, you never need to disassemble your head. Leave the valves, springs, plugs, cams & gears in place. Pull the head and bring it in. Trust the experts.

I brought my Brompton Electric in for service after Brompton recommended warranty repair and Cycle Loft refused to do the work (under warranty) that Brompton had recommended on my 1 month old bicycle claiming that "Brompton doesn't know what they are talking about..." I had an equally disappointing interaction with a salesmen recently after I inquiring about purchasing another bicycle. I ended up buying my new bicycle online since I have had such a poor experience with the best "Gold" experience that brick and mortar has to offer Brompton Electric enthusiasts in the Burlington area.
