When they arrived, I tried them on and was so disappointed they were too tight. A friend recommended this place to stretch the shoes so I brought my shoes here about 5 days ago. The man in the store told me it would be ready by Friday but I didn't get around to picking them up until today. I tried them on and they fit perfect!!! So a lightbulb went off in my head. I'm thinking if I fall in love with some shoes online and they don't have it in my size....maybe I can order a size lower. This place would be perfect to stretch them to my size! :-) Parking is horrible. You may have to find a spot a couple of blocks over and walk. Despite that, I highly recommend this place. I saw the owner on Thursday, 10/12/23 with my daughter regarding her pointe shoes that needed to be repaired. I showed the owner the shoes, the fabric (to be glued on) and we agreed that he would be able to do it next week. I asked him what the price would be and he said $25. (Later on, my daughter attested that this was indeed the price quoted). The next week, when I came back on Wednesday, 10/18 to pick up the shoes, the owner asked me to pay $40. I told him that he quoted me a different price the previous week and he stated that that he could not have had. Seeing my frustration, the owner said well let's meet in between and I will charge you $35. Well, maybe it seems fair to him but not to me as I was prepared to me not a cent above $25. If you say $25 when you see the work, it should stay $25. Period. What a disappointing experience!

Edward's is super reliable, can repair and make even the worst looking worn shoes and boots brand new. They took a friends favorite pair of boots back from the dead to make them look like they came out of the box for the first time. They don't only work on shoes! They work on watches, belts and other basic items. They have a can do attitude and are up to almost any challenge. Brought them a new bullet resistant vest carrier hitch needed holes made to hold a badge. It was critical that this be done correctly as any tear to he material could result in the vest carrier not helping the vest offer proper protection in stopping a bullet or knife. They did a perfect job and it looked like it came that way from the factory. I would highly recommend Edward's as they are being a neighborhood gem! They offer good prices, great service and are reliable. Worth a trip from anywhere if you want it done right.
