Edward's is super reliable, can repair and make even the worst looking worn shoes and boots brand new. They took a friends favorite pair of boots back from the dead to make them look like they came out of the box for the first time. They don't only work on shoes! They work on watches, belts and other basic items. They have a can do attitude and are up to almost any challenge. Brought them a new bullet resistant vest carrier hitch needed holes made to hold a badge. It was critical that this be done correctly as any tear to he material could result in the vest carrier not helping the vest offer proper protection in stopping a bullet or knife. They did a perfect job and it looked like it came that way from the factory. I would highly recommend Edward's as they are being a neighborhood gem! They offer good prices, great service and are reliable. Worth a trip from anywhere if you want it done right.

I even contacted the designer brand via their website and I was provided with a list of different repair shops. I'm so glad I chose the first option because my bag had been restored! It may have a slight glossy patch in the repaired spot, but it can ONLY be noticed if aware of the prior damage. I was charged $25 to repair a patch on my damaged $90 bag. I am so very pleased and will definitely return here for any needed repairs.

I found him thanks to Yelp, and noticed he was local to my home and quickly reached out regarding my unfavorable damage to my vintage LV wallet. This 2004 coin purse wallet combo has seen better days, and when my wallet was rejected for repairs from the original source, I didn't want to give up on it. Paul asked me to send pictures of the damages so he could quote me properly due to the amount of work involved. We agreed on a price and even the amount I had to leave for deposit wasn't an issue. He wanted to make sure that I would trust his judgement and value his work. Paul said to give him a week and he delivered it to me in 5 days time! Be sure to always ask him what the store hours are, as he unfortunately is experiencing flood damages to his work space. How he was still able to fix this wallet for me in such dire conditions, I'll never know. He's chatty and friendly, and could use more foot traffic as this kind of work is clearly dying in the industry. He seamless repaired my coin purse compartment that kept leaking coins all over my bag, as well as the bills compartment that was fatigued. The work is perfect; beat that 5th ave! He completely dyed both pairs, very different colors from what came from the factory! They are ruined. I chalked it up to being my fault for not pressing it further. So, I did go back to have other 3 other pairs shined. I was very specific - JUST A SHINE. He said they needed to be dyed. I said, "No, just a shine". He actually did that this time, but charged me $25 for three shines (no idea how you evenly divide $25 by 3!). $8 for a shine is much higher than Manhattan prices. He is money hungry and his work is marginal at best. No way I am ever going back. Try the guy on E16th and Quentin, next to the train station. Much fairer.
