Hired Marlene's flowers for my wedding florals and the flowers for my bridal shower that was Italian Tuscan theme and they did not disappoint. The colors for my shower were perfect and for the wedding I wanted all white flowers and told her which flowers i liked and I didn't like. Cutest little mom and pop flower shop! My friend told me about this place because she bought me the most gorgeous bouquet for my birthday. I asked her where she got it and she told me this place is her go to. I went right away to check it out and buy my daughter some flowers for her spot. The outside is adorable and then when you go inside you can smell all the flowers. They have quite a selection of flowers and they are soo fresh and beautiful' I love that they have $5 selections and $10 and it goes up from there. $5 bouquets???? Yes!!!!! And they are so pretty. I was a bit sad the first time cause I didn't know they had the flower powders that most bouquets Come in when you buy them but you have to ask for it. The second time I came that's when I asked for it. So don't forget to ask for those!!!! So your flowers thrive a little longer. Customer service is nice! They are friendly and ask if you need any help. It's a super small shop so I think they limit how many people go in which is nice too because it can easily get crowded in there. Came in person to place an order for my dad's funeral. I specifically showed the employee what I would like to order and requested for two arrangements. The employee even took pictures of the arrangement and all they needed to do was replicate the arrangement that they made. If you been to this flower shop you know that they make beautiful big arrangements and place them in their walk in fridge at the top. The arrangement they had was priced at $85 and another employee came and said if you want to pick up Monday they will cost $120 each. This up charge was no issue to me as this was for my dad. Came Monday and I was shocked to see the tinniest floral arrangements that cost me $120 each. They sell bigger bouquets for less money. I am extremely disappointed on how they came out. I worked directly with Marlene for my wedding and it's just sad that the quality and expectation isn't what it use to be now that she isn't as involved. read more

I have purchased flowers from here a few times This past Mother's Day I went in with my boyfriend to get 2 arrangements We got there before they opened and their selection was okay Everything was definitely over priced After giving my mom the flowers she sent a text the same night as she was putting them into a base she realized some of the flowers were dead and they didn't even last an hour Keep in mind we took great care of them so it might be that they are now Instagram famous but in my opinion that shouldn't change the quality of the product or the price. read more

I have been following this floral shop for sometime and I mentioned to my Bf how creative and beautiful her Ramos were. My bf surprised me with a Ramo last Sunday and I cut back the stems slightly because they were long stem I wanted to preserve the look still but wanted to keep them fresh. It's been one week and today I went to change the water for a second time and the whole ramo was MOLDED!! I am sooo sadden and disappointed I didn't get to enjoy my anniversary flowers longer... I asked my boyfriend how much they were and he said be paid $160!!! I am in disbelief! Costcos roses always last me 2+ weeks. They were beautiful and extremely creative ramo but they do not last long and because of that I don't think they're worth the price point. read more

They do have a $10 minimum to pay with card, but they were kind enough to waive that for me. I know it's a small business but still...it's 2024 who carries cash anymore? This review is long overdo. Marlene did the floral at my wedding in November 2021. Where do I start... when I first started looking for a florist for my wedding I got multiple quotes from businesses all over the place. Of course every women has a Pinterest board for their wedding. I had a dream of the kind of florals I envisioned for my wedding day. Unfortunately, that dream was crushed buy every florist I had reached out to. I was met with absolutely ridiculous quotes. Even worse many businesses were rude and totally crushed my dreams by saying that too many people have unrealistic expectations from Pinterest and that their budgets never match up with the reality of things. It's awful, I felt like so many florists were just trying to take advantage the minute I mentioned the word wedding. I'm not sure why I hadn't reached out to Marlene in the first place. I grew up in bellflower and Marlene is the biggest local florist here. My husband has been buying me flowers from Marlene since he was in high school. I cannot say enough great things about Marlene and her business. When we met with her we were so blown away. Marlene is so sweet. So down to earth. She's patient and understanding. We felt so comfortable talking to her it was like we had known her for years. She never once tried to take advantage or oversell us on anything. I'll never forget how she said she understands how expensive weddings are and how much work it takes for a couple to make their wedding dreams come true. She made me feel at ease and promised that if I trusted in her that everything would come out beautiful. She was right because she is soooo talented and has so much experience. The day of my wedding when I finally walked in I just about cried. I was so shocked at how gorgeous the florals turned out. Honestly the florals is what really tied everything in together. I was emotional because she FAR exceeded what I had envisioned. She went above and beyond. Marlene was able to give me the wedding florals of my dreams. She was able to do for me what everyone else had told me would never be possible with the budget I had. I never got to say thank you to Marlene but Marlene if you every see this.. thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I am forever grateful to you. God bless you! My family always go to this place but everyone I go to place my order they always screw thongs up. I ordered flowers to be delivered on 4/4 and they arrived on 4/3. A 4/4 delivery date was written on the receipt. I requested specific colors such as lavender, white and yellow and I get pink. I started going to Marlene's when they first opened and they had good service.. however this past year every time I have tried to go they are closed on days they are said to be open online on at least two occasions. I wanted something beautiful like I see in their IG story for my friends nursing graduation and I seen they were open. I went after work and was undecided and the prices seem to have went up a lot . They wanted $300 for some of the shiny pink roses that look better in the pictures then in person .. I ended up picking out a bouquet that was premade on the shelf already. and was going to pick it up the next day because the girl was not too helpful with ideas . I left kind of unsatisfied with my decision because I thought I could get two dozen roses for almost the same price and I should have just customized the bundle or the lady could have offered to make the same Bundle fresh the next day. I understood I did sign a paper that said no returns or exchanges and I tried calling the next morning to see if they could just put the premade one back on the shelf and if I could pay the difference even more to make it a custom bouquet fresh the same days they said no. So I went to pick up the flowers and they looked a little wilted but the girl told me that was the color of the flowers ‍ I then asked if I could have them wrapped instead since I was taking it to a graduation and I want sure if I could take glass in and they wanted to charge me $25 to wrap them ! She said it would be lots of paper ! I had already paid $95! I left and said I would never be back . The Service is not there anymore and neither is the quality for the prices. Then they made sure to put a comment on their IG to tell customers to be nice ! I am local in bellflower and I will be sure to tell everyone about the crap of service to customers. read more

Hidden gem! I am so glad I found this place. A girlfriend told me about this place she found on IG- I'm a sucker for this particular dried plant called PAMPAS. Marlenes has them and unique dried flowers. I was soooo happy I came here. 5-pampas $20 when online they wanted to charge me 3-80$ I almost died it was a waste of $ and expensive. Come here!!! They create make and design dried arrangements that are beautiful. Now their arrangements I admit are unique not like typical Conroy's flowers. Their beautiful- Super friendly customer service! But today was the cherry on top, went to buy my mom flowers for her birthday, and I asked the girl if they had the flower food, I didn't even finish asking when she cut me off and said no. Not even no I'm sorry we're out, just straight up no and are you going to pay cash or card!? Customer service is everything babe, and today was not it for you . I also heard the guy next to me ask why can't he grab the flowers himself and she rolled her eyes and said because you can't... then caught herself and said because it ruins them, which I get, but don't be so rude, we as customers help your business and when we don't feel welcomed well that messes it up for you.
