Where to begin: Marri was a friend first and I thought it would be weird to have her wax me but she was very sweet and professional. She cares deeply about me and her clients. Marri will do what she can to ensure her clients are extremely pleased with her service. This is what sets her above the corporate competition, her personalized care and attention. You're not just a sales quota or number. You're HER client and she takes that seriously. I used to get waxed by another woman who took 45 minutes. Marri takes 10-12minutes. I love this! I have had laser hair removal but still have some growth that Marri will take care of as needed. She even waxed me 5 days before I had my baby! If you've never had a Brazilian wax before Marri is great. Things to know: Marri and fast and efficient. This means BE ON TIME! Be ready to walk in the room and get undressed in front of her. No need for modesty at this point. There is a restroom, so if you want to "clean up" before you go in then you can. As a courtesy/politeness please "clean up" before you see Marri or anyone else for that matter. This means wipe up (front and back). You have your own wax container. She isn't putting someone else's wax on you. Follow her instructions for before prep and aftercare and you will be extremely satisfied!!! I have been a client of hers for over 2 years. I first found Marri on Yelp when I moved to the area from Maui, and have not gone to anybody else since. She is amazing!!! Not only are her prices great, but she is super fast ( I have timed it, and literally been in and out in 7 minutes), and she is so fun and friendly. Even though she is fast, she is very thorough and does a stellar job. You never have to worry about being burned, or having skin pulled off, or having your hair grow back in a week. LISTEN UP! A few years ago, my friends started waxing as it was "the thing to do". As a young woman, I was petrified to have a stranger in-between my legs...but Marri saved the day with a comfortable, clean environment. I did not even have to call Marri, I just sent a simple text and received an immediate response. She answered all my questions, even the insanely ludicrous ones about length, feminine issues and even after care instructions (I have sensitive skin!!!). For such an intimate experience, Marri makes you feel relaxed, as much as one can relax during a Brazilian wax, but the results are worth it for a few minutes of pain as she has you in and out in under 15 minutes. First off I'm a Esthetician and have been for over 15 years and Marri is hands down the best Esthetician I've ever seen for waxing. Besides all the stuff in other reviews; quick, clean, distraction techniques like a ninja, makes you incredibly comfortable , and overall lovely to be around. She is also professional honest and really amazing at what she does. This is no easy job folks, it can be like a workout and the body grows hair in crazy ways almost like figuring out a puzzle so to do it as quickly and efficiently as she does takes skill and experience. I hadn't been waxing myself in a long time and finally decide to start up again which is usually the worst since you have thick course hair and the bulb is larger and stronger - it's not a massage by any stretch but she made it a experience I left feeling like great!
