I then had a few different companies come out to fix and replace the two difficult corner windows. The owner of Anytime Glass named Hakim came out and was extremely knowledgeable about windows. He knew the most about windows, his price was the most reasonable, and he was a genuinely good man! We then hired Anytime Glass to replace and install two new, difficult to install corner windows. We also decided to replace a front window with a specially tinted security window. Anytime Glass did a fantastic job on every window, even the difficult corner windows! Just to be sure, we even had a licensed contractor friend come out and inspect the newly installed windows. He was so impressed by the quality of the installation that he hired Anytime Glass as a subcontractor for his contractor company! From the very first rainy season after installation, the window leaked from the interior corners. I have photos documenting the leak during that initial warranty period. The installer later acknowledged that the exterior perimeter of the IGU was never weather-sealed, yet claimed this was an "optional" service rather than a required part of the installation. As a result, the window allows water intrusion during wind-driven rain. When I contacted the company to resolve the issue, responsibility was repeatedly deflected to other parties, and I was told the warranty had expired -- despite the defect existing from the start. No reasonable effort was made to correct the incomplete installation, even with active leaks during the rainy season. I would not recommend this company if you expect proper weatherproofing, accountability, or support when issues arise.
