There is a rope obstacle course for kids on the upper floors of the mall. Cool concept, but a little off putting that things could fall from above on to shoppers on the lower levels. Overall, it's a decent mall, but it has lost some of its luster over the years.

Because of that, I didn't know there was a Spencers for years (not that I was looking for that store, but it's just interesting that I never knew there was a pretty well known store in a corner for years). The food court is pretty good with a wide selection of items and this one area between the center of the mall and the food court hallway occasionally switched out. Store prices vary and the mall can't really control that, obviously, but there's a good variety of stores with their ranging prices so that you can find your preference. I only know of one bathroom area and while it's pretty big, it also feels hidden and is inconvenient if you need to go from anywhere besides the center of the mall. Also, there's great parking and a bus stop for commuters. There's also other stores located in the same area but not in the mall which is convenient for a variety of reasons.

While many mainstay stores have left, they have a few stores still that could make it worth a visit: uniglo, stew Leonard's, LL Bean, etc. The food court upstairs has far fewer options now. The one thing I've always liked about this mall was that it was easy to navigate and hard to get lost in, unlike its sister the Garden State Plaza mall. Plus parking is super easy in comparison as well because of far fewer patrons. Management also seems to have kept up with the mall's maintenance and decor even with fewer tenants. No tax on most clothes and shoes in NJ so that's always a plus! You won't likely find everything you need here but if that's not an issue, not a bad mall at all.

Today was the day: I was going to go into the beyond, and see the rest of what Paramus Park had to offer. And to be honest, it offered very little. As I ventured through the entire Mall, in maybe took me 15-20 minutes in a relatively comfortable pace, and it SEEMS 1/2 open businesses, and 1/2 shuttered-closed businesses. I like a quiet mall. I avoid malls on weekends for this reason, but this wasn't just quiet, it was strangely quiet. I've just experienced a mall past it's prime. Odd. I would've loved to see it in it's glory. There were more people in Stew Leanords (probably) then the entire mall put-together. Thank god for that supermarket to choose Paramus Park for its location! I'll go into Center City for Marshalls, GNC, and PriceRIte more often. I've only been to Hamilton & Ward, but there are other eateries like Downtown Grill and IHOP. Inside, I've also seen there's a nail place, as well as a movie theater and arcade. Center City Mall is easy to get to via public transportation with bus stops, and there is underground parking available. Star rating based on convenience and ease of location - especially smack in the middle of an urban area.

This mall is definetly a one stop shop for fun and fashion! They have everything from a ski resort to Nickelodeon Amusement Park. They also got the high end bougie stores like Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Gucci. We went to the Nikelodeon Park and was able to pay per ride which was cool. We also was able go on the Ferris wheel that overlooked Manhattan. I also finally found the World Cup soccer ball from the Addidas store. American Dream is a place that requires multiple trips! Parking was easy peasy. I paid 6.50 to park in thier parking lot.

It is the perfect place to bring kids. The amount of activities all in one place is quite remarkable. There's the Nickelodeon theme park, DreamWorks water park, Sesame Place, Legoland, mini golf, laser tag, an arcade, an aquarium, and much more. Everything is indoors and connected, so it's super easy to get from one place to the next. There is even a bridge to the MetLife stadium next door. In addition to the more interactive attractions, there are tons of food options and regular mall stores. There is a connected parking garage and parking rates are extremely reasonable. We were there for about 5 hours and paid $6.40. It's very easy to get around with a stroller, but there isn't a ton to do for kids under 1, I'd say. The Nickelodeon theme park did have a play space with blocks and places to climb for young ones, but all the rides, including the trains, required kids to be 3 feet and up in height. You can easily spend a whole day here. Each attraction has a separate fee so things can add up quickly, but it's a great place for endless entertainment.

Parking is never scarce, but it still depends on what days/times you go. Not a big fan of their food court, but there is an adjacent movie theater.
