There is nothing that stresses me out than moving and these guys made the whole process so much easier. Previously, I had movers that took double the time, and charged me double the price. My roommate had left to go get groceries right before these guys came over and they had loaded the truck before he got back. They work hard. Great price. Pack everything well. They even attached straps to my couch and lifted it from the ground, over a second story railing because it wouldn't fit in my elevator or stairwell. So we had an exceptionally terrible moving experience 10 years ago so we've always moved ourselves. But my husband and I are now 10 years older and buying our first home so we decided to give it another try. To say we had an opposite experience would be an understatement. I personally don't move that fast carrying 10lb dumbbells...I cannot understand how two men moved 2 procrastinators so fast out of one home & into a new one. And their prices are extremely reasonable. If you are looking for movers Marsik is it. They are professional, fast and respectful of our property...they shrink wrapped ANYTHING that had the chance of being damaged. Brilliant! I've never hired movers before, and let me tell you - I'm never moving by myself ever again. I hired two movers from Marsik, and they were both kind, polite and quick on their feet. They moved my one bedroom from Renton to Kenmore in 3 hours, nearly a third the amount of time it would have taken myself. They wrapped all of my furniture and delivered it without a single scratch. They handled my heavy dresser, bookshelves and TV with care and even volunteered to recycle my extra boxes! Not an ounce of complaining and they seemed eager to do any little task I asked of them. This was a HORRIBLE horrible experience. I filled out the initial inquiry about my move, size, etc. and they emailed me back with a quote which seemed fair and no problem. I booked the move and the day before they tried to reschedule on me TWICE. This should have been a red flag on how unorganized and unprofessional they are. Day of, the two movers show up and looked at my one bedroom apartment and told me I had "way too much stuff" and essentially shamed me, and said it would take way longer and be more expensive than they quoted me. I went back and forth with them for 30 mins and had to get their boss on the phone. They were also trying to charge me extra for "extra stairs" that was NEVER discussed with me. The men moving were very rude and gave me a lot of attitude the entire time- well, the one who spoke English anyway. They were very clearly annoyed with the situation and make me feel so incredibly uncomfortable. After finally getting started I ended up doing about half of the work myself, while they stopped several times for "5 minute breaks" that ended up being a lot longer. They took SO long wrapping my furniture and items to the point where it felt unnecessary and like they were purposely taking longer to charge me more. At one point during the move the two men started screaming at each other. At the end of the day, my one bedroom move ending taking 7 hours and I paid 3X what I was quoted. I honestly feel a bit scammed. If I hadn't done a HUGE portion of the moving myself it would have taken hours longer. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company it was an actual nightmare of a day. They are not professionals. read more

This was the second time I used Marsik Movers since their rates were lower than most of their competition. They were easy to communicate with by email and iMessages. Mark and his helper were very prompt and efficient. They took great care in wrapping and protecting our furniture. Very easy to work with when moving the furniture in place at the destination. I forgot that there was a three hour minimum so our small two hour move netted them an extra hour of pay. I should have used them to help fine tune placing my furniture exactly where I wanted rather than just placing it in proximity to save time. That was my bad and lessons learned do take note that if you have a small move, there is still a three hour minimum which is customary for moving services. My only gripe is Marsik Movers will used your garbage and recycle bins to dump their garbage without asking permission. It's not only the moving material they used during my move but their own personal garbage that filled up my bins. They even put regular garbage in my recycling bin in which I had to remove and store in my garage until I can fit them in my garbage bin for the next two weeks. So beware of this if you use Marsik Movers. Their rates are excellent but they will definitely "dump on you"! read more
