How have I never heard of this place?! Shame on me because I'm a foodie and have a massive sweet tooth. Came here because of RI Food Fights and I'm so thankful. Every dessert looked delicious and the free cupcake I got was her PB&J. This thing was massive and definitely the biggest cupcake I've ever had. The cake itself was very moist after bringing it to room temperature and the frosting was incredible with a perfect amount of peanut butter flavor. Marti was so sweet and kind! She was very passionate about her desserts and she told me she's making 90 different flavors right now. I'm glad I found this place and can't wait to come back.

I tried out a lot of cupcakes in RI for the RI Food Fights challenge, and this was by far the best. The lady working the counter said that the shop rotates between 92 flavor options, and they were all beautiful!! The cupcake itself was large, but the icing was what put it over the edge for me. A heaping amount with a great consistency and excellent flavor...I'll absolutely be back to try more flavors!

My husband became intrigued with an app: Too Good To Go. He announced that he could buy a mystery box from Marti's for $5. The app is for local food establishments who are looking to make a profit on extra food at the end of the day and not wasting at the same time! 1. I had never heard of Marti's and it's in my hometown so I then became interested 2. I love bakery items 3. I love a mystery We bought the $5 box on a Saturday for a Sunday 12:30pm pickup. Easy pick up. And the surprise became a you choose situation. Whatever was left my husband was allowed to pick 4 cupcakes to take home. My thoughts on the cupcakes- first an foremost a lot of inconsistency here. The shapes are off for a 'professional' cupcake shop. I do like the mystery creams inside. I did find they were not as soft as they should be and I don't think it's because they were just a few hours old but maybe cooked longer than they should be. The frosting was tasty. Overall- needs a little fine tuning. Bottomline- I am into this mystery situation...

Cupcakes were delicious! Great variety. We tried four different flavors. All were great. My favorite was raspberry chocolate. Highly recommend checking this place out.

My moms friend brought some of Marti's cupcakes to a get together she was having at her house and everyone raved about these delicious large cupcakes. My mom enjoyed them so much that she ordered a giant cupcake cake for my anniversary and then two more for my surprise birthday party a few weeks later. I drive past this neighborhood cupcake shop everyday but had never found the opportunity to stop in before, so today my kids and I popped in to check it out for ourselves. We each picked out cupcake to enjoy and ended up eating them BEFORE dinner because we have zero willpower. Marti's cupcakes are made from scratch and are always fresh. She is friendly, easy to work with, and dedicated to creating unique and tasty treats. Totally worth a try if you're in the area.

I've used Marti's for several occasions. Both cupcakes and cakes. Spot on every time. The most recent was for my in-laws 75th wedding anniversary and no that's not a typo they've been married for 75 years! Yesterday we had a lemon cake with raspberry filling. It looked beautiful and it tasted amazing. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she is a lovely and extremely creative woman. Highly recommend whether it's a cake for an occasion or you're just feeling the urge for something sweet. So many flavors of cupcakes it was hard to choose. Highly recommend!

Yum! Huge delicious cupcakes. Well done Marti! Martha is always warm and friendly and her cupcakes are always fresh and made with love. I will never understand the negative reviews for this place in comments like not uniform size frosting isn't good. This is complete misinformation. So run, don't walk to her cute little pink shop and grab some tasty treats!

Wow. Massive cupcakes. Perfect icing. They have easily about 15 flavors for someone off the street to come pick up let alone a preorder. Awesome service with a smile. Make the drive!! **not pictured- the lemon because it already has bites out of it!

This adorable little shop is so cute. Order 60 cupcakes, 20 of them being gluten free for my daughter and 2 of her cousins joint graduation party. They were not only beautiful but tasted amazing. The owner is so nice and works with my idea to out due my expectations. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you need cupcakes and believe she does cakes also. I highly recommend. We have another family function that we will be ordering again.

Absolutely love Marti's Bakery! Martha is the sweetest--she came through last minute and baked a custom cake completely from scratch using just a rough idea, a picture, and a few suggested ingredients. She even adjusted the recipe to make it less sweet, just the way I like it. The result? Absolute perfection. The cake was incredibly delicious. This is the second time I've ordered from Marti's and once again, it did not disappoint. Her attention to detail and care for her customers really shows. Prices are super reasonable too. If you're looking for a go-to bakery that delivers quality and heart, Marti's is it!

I love Marti's!! Not only is everything fresh and delicious, she is super reasonable with pricing, and customer service is top notch! My favorites are the chocolate-covered mint Oreos and the caramel apples!!

    Sarah J.

The owner and her family are incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of care and love into their baked goods. Their pricing is more than affordable and their cupcakes (and other bakery items) are ridiculously yummy!! Not only do they taste incredible, they are so cute! This place is a hidden gem and I wish I could talk her into opening a shop in Lincoln! I could never recommend a place more than Marti's!!!

I found the shop tucked away in my old stomping grounds, and when my GPS announced I had arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see it now occupies what used to be a beloved old Italian bakery. There's a small parking lot right next to the well-marked entrance, and their adorable bespectacled cupcake logo makes for a charming first impression. Inside, the space is a nostalgic dream for fans of all things pop culture. The décor spans across countless beloved universes--Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Mario, and more. Familiar faces like Batman, Spiderman, Thor, and the Hulk line the walls and shelves, giving the whole place a fun and immersive vibe. But let's talk about the real stars: the baked goods. The display at the entrance is packed with eye-catching treats--cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and beyond. Everything looked just as mouthwatering in person as it did in the photos that initially drew me in. In addition to desserts, they also offer cannoli, cinnamon rolls, brownies, breakfast wraps, sandwiches, bagels, toasts, bowls, and a variety of drinks including coffee, smoothies, and iced options. Since I was there for cupcakes, I picked out three flavors: Mocha Cappuccino, Banana Pudding, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. I only got to try the two banana ones, but both were delicious. The Mocha one smelled heavenly though! A surprise bonus--the cupcakes had fillings, which I wasn't expecting. The frosting-to-cake ratio was perfect, and the cake itself was light and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to hold up the frosting. The owner was super helpful in guiding my selections and genuinely lit up when I asked about the bakery's background and theme. They host themed events too--like an upcoming Star Wars Day breakfast with a buffet, character meet-and-greets, goodie bags, and more. I don't live in the area anymore, so coming back would be a special treat--but I definitely plan to. Getting out of the parking lot was a bit tricky due to the busy nearby intersection, but it wasn't too hard to navigate. A small inconvenience considering everything this place has to offer. Bottom line: this bakery is a delightful, nerdy, sugar-filled gem. A perfect place to treat yourself!

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish.
