I usually get the "full orbit" when I visit. It is a fairly thorough inside and outside clean. It's well worth the price. They usually do a great job. It can occasionally be not quite as good but if you catch it before you leave they are great about making sure that you are satisfied. Expect a bit of a wait on busy weekends and especially the first decent weather day after snow. A suggestion to management: While I was there, three older folks came in, all using canes and they were unable to get on the high top chairs. The weather was too cold for them to sit outside on benches. Please consider adding some standard chairs. read more

Absolutely do not waste your time. I paid $20 for a glorified gas station drive through car wash. No vacuums available and was not allowed to use the extra services vacuums bc the four cars they had in there left them "too busy." No towels available to dry my car so I left with my vehicle dirtier than I went in!!! read more

Justin is the best manager! Unfortunately, I met him on the day I was canceling my membership. Literally two days after I got said membership. I've been a loyal Martian customer for at least two years. They've sold some of their washes and now only have two. I canceled with Zipps, who took over their old wash so I could have a membership here. I just had the most awful experience with Andrew, who said he was the manager at the new St. Charles location on First Capitol. With SOAP and water spots all over my car, he basically told me I needed to "just wipe it off" and that since I got the lowest wash, the five dollar wash, there was nothing he could do except run me back through again. Uh. How will that help? It's obviously a problem and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this. ZERO customer service skills. I asked how to contact the manager, and he told me to go to the website. So instead, I called their only remaining location and spoke with Justin Carlson, the GM. I needed to fill out a cancellation form in person, so I trekked over here. Justin couldn't have been more apologetic and kind. He gave me a complimentary (farewell) wash and vacuum. It was nice to be heard and receive the kind of service I've come to expect from Martian over the last few years! I'm sad to leave them, but I will *not* allow anyone to treat me the way Andrew did. Yesterday I had my car hand detailed at Martian Car Wash. She looks like a new car. The clay treatment on the outside made her so shiny and covered up scratches from my dog. The inside looks better than when I drove her off the lot! Highly recommend - give Brett or Justin a call. They have lots of options available. There aren't a lot of full service car washes around. Today on a slightly rainy day I wanted my interior cleaned. I drove all the way through Martian. No one ever even saw me and it was open. I went back a second time and they said it would be a wait because there were only two people working. I realize it's hard right now to find workers. Also even in the past, I pay a premium for interior cleaning and it's just not as great as it should be. I'll be back but they really need to up their game. read more

There seems to be a lot of negativity surrounding Martian Car Wash based on the previous reviews I've read. I have been here four or five times since they opened and have had nothing but positive experiences! Everyone has been incredibly friendly and do a great job with washing my car. I just drive a four-door sedan so there is not anything overly complicated with my wash. They also have been walking around and administering surveys while I wait so I appreciate that they are try to figure out what they can improve! The only reason I would consider deducting a star is because the prices had been lower when it was still Green Lantern. That being said, I feel that I still get good value from my washes! read more

I've gone to the Mid-Rivers location several time and had great experiences with getting our vehicles cleaned and detailed...until today. I wasn't sure if the location would be open or not, but the open sign was on when I pulled up. Other than it being a little chilly and cloudy, there was no rain and the open sign was turned on. There was absolutely no one around. So I decided to check inside to see if there is anyone in there. The door is unlocked, but again no one was around. After a bit a supervisor comes out of the back room and I ask about getting my car detailed, I didn't really care about the car wash but, tells me they aren't doing cars today? I'm confused, why is your open sign on and doors unlocked just to have your employee turn away paying customers? Might be something management should to look into. read more

Expensive services, rude workers, and a broken antenna. I drive a pickup, and when this place was Green Lantern Car Wash I would come once every two or three weeks for an outside wash and an interior cleaning. I loved it and the price was WELL worth the service and quality. Now, the prices are higher and the quality is gone. I drive a short bed pickup truck and when the car wash was Green Lantern this was never an issue. Time after time they looked in the back and never said a word and i was allowed to go through the car wash. We recently had a thunderstorm that blew some dirt and grass in to the bed of my truck. I was spoken down to like a child because I came with a dirty truck for it to be washed. Ok great, I'll clean my truck before I come to the car wash next time! I understand them not wanting a truck bed full of mulch or dirt, but grass clippings and some leaves from a thunder-shower? The manager proceeded to explain to me how he didn't want "all this mulch" in "HIS" car wash. Listen buddy, i just spent $30 on a car wash and I'd hate to see what you say to a car rolling through here after going down a dusty or muddy gravel road. Basically, if you own a truck make sure the bed is in pristine hermetically sealed condition before coming. I won't be back. My antenna also snapped off at my previous visit. They took ZERO responsibility for this happening but I feel like going through a "roller" car was such as this one that is a risk one takes (of antennas or mirrors becoming broken) so I didn't press the issue. Save your money and go to Waterway or the BP station where squeeges and water are free. read more

Got the "Full Orbit" and ceramic coat today for $46 and could have saved myself the time and money by just doing it on my own. The wash was great, it always gets the bugs and tough stuff off the outside, however, the interior detail was awful. I'm pretty sure they just hosed down my floor mats and sprayed some tire shine on then let the truck sit there for 45 minutes. You couldn't tell that my back seat had been vacuumed at all and my dash didn't look like it had been touched. There were still nose prints (from the dogs) on the back glass. Lastly, for being "hand dried" and ceramic coated there were still water spots and streaks all over the passenger side. Terrible, won't be going there again or recommending it to anyone read more

Horrible car wash. Great customer service by the workers but absolutely horrible car wash itself. I paid for the $15 wash and not only did it come out DRIPPING with water but there was also a ton of soap/foam still on the vehicle. Longtime patron to the car wash and typically had decent service but now two times in a row, I have been thoroughly disappointed. I am a small business manager myself so spoke to the manager like a gentleman after my first visit and described my issue. Decided to give the place a second chance and ended up having my car barely cleaned after paying for the most expensive wash and then when I asked for the manager a second time, he was too busy to come out and address the issue. Left without ever talking to anyone and will never go back. I currently have a puddle of water/cleaner sitting in my cupholders which I then had to retrieve my key out of which was also soaking wet. read more

I am sad to say that this place is going downhill. In their attempt to save $ through automation, they have changed their "Merle's Best" package from hand dry and hand applied tire shine, to equipment that only halfway dries your vehicle and slips so much tire shine on your tires that it flings back all over your car when you drive away. Kind of defeats the purpose. I have mentioned both of these issues to management numerous times now but only get lip service. I cannot believe that anyone would be happy with these changes. read more

Not worth the $45 I spent. They took forever and the only had 4 cars there. By the time they touched mine the watermarks were already dried all over the car. Then they sprayed the wax and the kid barely wiped it off. I was in a hurry to go, When I got home the whole car had wax all over the car and windows that they didn't bother to wipe down. I had to get a microfiber towel at home and wipe down the whole car again. Don't waste your money. I can get a much better job for half the price at country club car wash up the road. read more

AVOID ANY MARTIAN CAR WISH IF YOU CARE ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR PAINT With a name like "Martian" you'd think new and innovative way to clean your vehicle but this is more like a refinishing prep drive through the process is so abrasive. Before I get in depth, the workers are exceptional and do have a smile and were helpful but the whole automatic wash experience itself was a nail biting experience the whole way through. I received the the Martian wash, not their most expensive but not the cheapest either. They started off by using a brush to the front of the vehicle, glass and tail portion of the vehicle which was my first sign of "uh-oh." These brushes are used on numerous vehicles with limited washing and are the last thing you'd want to use on any painted surface of the vehicles. Then you're driven through the efficient process of different noodle wipers and soaps probably coated in dirt and grime. It really makes you think of all the grime and salt being picked up from other cars that are being dragged across your ENTIRE vehicle. Sure it got the dirt off but the amount of micro to even visible scratches is certainly not worth going there if you care about you car. If Martian car wash developed a new touch less wash, I could see it being a much better process but the current one with all the brushes, mops, etc is like taking a scotch bright pad to the entire car. Again, service was good, process was efficient but DO NOT go there If you care about your paint. read more

I would leave a zero star review if I could. The tunnel sucks, the managers were rude when I told them that the back of my car always comes out of the tunnel dirty. I will start going to Detail Driven from here on out, at least when I go there my car is clean. Only positive experience I had was the guy with the beard who checked me out before my washes. Went here all the time when they were Green Lantern. Always got the works. Never a problem. So $35 was good price as it was $36 with GL including suv service. But the service has def changed since changing the name in late Dec. Works usually meant it was clean inside and out. Works now means you go home and have to wipe entire car down cause it's still wet and has streaks everywhere and you have to clean your own dash. Plus outside had to be rewashed-felt bad they only had one guy with pressure washer. Oh and the vacuum must not have been run in back either-still dirty. Hoping it's just they're understaffed or inexperienced. Either way they said they'd fix it when I came back next time after a quick call. So I'll go again. read more

The outside way looked good and was fine. I got the basic inside. The vacuum job was awful. There was still dirt and grass on the carpet and I would have thought they would have run the vacuum over the seats but they didn't. I paid extra to have the floor mats done.. They put them thru a machine and they looked ok. The windows were fine. If they had just spent a little more time on the vacuum or had a better vacuum they would have had a happy customer. read more

I try not to post bad reviews, but this must be said: Martian Car Wash is a horrible business. I went there to get my car washed, as you do, and after the fact, not only did I notice my glove compartment was left open, and looked like it had been sifted through, but a few things from my car were also missing, most notably my prescription Xanax (one pill was crushed and left lying on the floor of my car. Before I left, I heard one of your employees say, "It would appear I am off the Alprazolam.") I waited here nearly 4 hours, and my car was not even washed properly, lots of spots were missed, and my window looked cracked! The employees are very rude here, too, and act like they don't even want to do their job (can you blame them, though?) May I add, l also may have potentially become deaf here? My ears immediately started to ring after I got in my car to leave, and they have been ringing since. You may as well employ actual Martians! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Next time, I'll just get my big brother to wash my car. read more
