Welcome to Lees Summit! We went for happy hour and were "happy" to try out their HH menu items. The stuffed cheese bread was a good deal at $5.00 (normally $10.00 outside of HH). The wings were pretty standard. We had them with BBQ sauce and it was on the sweeter side as opposed to spicy. We also had a one topping pizza for $5.00 and always appreciate a fresh crust. Our favorite item was the $5.00 meatball slider - two large meatballs encased in marinara sauce on a baguette with onions and provolone cheese. Very good! My boyfriend ordered our standard long island tea. The first one was a miss but kudos to the server for spotting the overabundance of coke and telling him if it wasn't right to let her know. He did and she had it remade so it was fine. I went for a HH gin & tonic (made with Tanqueray nonetheless!) for $5.00 and called it a deal! The lunch special really got our attention - any pizza and salad for $10.00. Monday through Friday only but for those who work in Lees Summit, I think it will be worth checking out! read more

I was almost deterred by the parking lot, it looked full, but the restaurant was almost empty. I had the individual pizza with Apples, Goat Cheese, Sausage, and crushed candied Pecans! Stopped in there for lunch today and ordered extra food to take home! The beer was good. The space is huge and has a cool vibe. I wasn't sure about this location at first for a successful restaurant, but I think it will do extremely well there. Food: We tried a small order of brussel sprouts that had carmelized onion and bacon. If you love sprouts, get these! A small was good for two people to share. We also tried the pretzels with beer cheese sauce and mustard. You get 4 of them. They are super dense and delish. I couldn't decide which sauce I liked better! Loved both! My husband had the chicken pesto sandwich, which was also great. Big props to the Parmesan chips. Yummo! I had the salmon blt with a Cobb side salad. Loved I could get a custom salad as my side! We will definitely be back to try the pizza. I'm hoping they will add croakers and growlers in to the mix! read more

The best pizza in Kansas City! The Apples in Naples is my favorite! Who know Apple slices with crushed candied pecan on pizza would be so delicious. They have a few signatures pies but you can opt to create your own. The brussel sprouts is a great starter. This is their newest location and it's only been open a few weeks. Stopped by Martin City pizza for lunch. I was disappointed they don't, offer beer flights, but our bartender let us try a couple of beers so we could figure out what we liked prior to ordering. We shared the Brussels sprouts and the lunch special (side salad and 8 inch pizza). We got the Caesar salad and the España pizza. The Brussels sprouts were good, but a little greasy for my tastes. The Caesar salad was delicious, and the pizza was good, but watch out- it is spicy! Our service was great and the food came out quickly. First visit, will be back. Appetizers- shared Brussel sprouts and pretzels. Both were very good. A large side salad was enough for three of us. It was just OK, I prefer iceberg or romaine lettuce. The pizza was the star. We had a large all meat pizza. The sausage and meatballs were under the cheese. The pepperoni was on top. Toppings were generous and went all the way to the edges. Everyone had a different beer. There are plenty of options to please everyone. Our server was friendly and attentive. The only disappointment was the noise level. Sitting at a small table for four, you couldn't hear the person on the opposite corner. The concrete floor, bare ceiling, all glass exterior, and hard wood dividers bounce and amplify the noise. read more

It's edible. But there are better ones out there. The sandwiches we've had here have all been super good. The service has always been really good too. I love their speciality pizzas and wings. Their wings are giant and full of flavor. Dry or sauced they are good to go. Their salads are good as well, only tasted the Caesar. Service is hot or miss when busy but curbside was quick and efficient. Nice lights and great size tvs for sports or any news coming up. It's also spacious on the inside. read more

Anyway, we do come here about once a month when we want good pizza, and Martin City in LSMO is definitely good pizza. They're also generally accurate on the order, but when they do mess up, they own their mistake and make it right every time. read more

My husband and I discovered this place recently and we absolutely love it. We ordered out the first time due to covid. The pizza was delicious so we decided to go back. Are waiter was extremely nice and quick. Our food cake hot and absolutely tasty. My husband ordered the electric lemonade and he's hooked. When we left he said he could have drank 5 of them they were so good. It's overall a very nice place with a wonderful vibe. The only complaint I have at all is if you go in the evening and the sun is going down you will be blinded if you sit on a certain side of the restaurant. The sun was beaming in to half of the room and I did not see any curtains, shades,blinds etc to help the issue which made my husband uncomfortable sitting in the sun the entire time. Many of the food items are good. Their wings could use some work. They are super small and the flavors are a little unrefined. I am a fan of their beers and enjoy many of their brews. I remember when Boulevard was this good before being bought out. Service is great hear but pretty bad at both Lee Summit, locations and I really love the variance in the atmospheres of each location. Their Brunch is one of the best in town for price, selection and taste. read more

I was very excited to try this place with a couple of friends. Very cool vibe. We tried the pretzel sticks appetizer, which was very nice. I preferred the mustard sauce instead of the beer cheese. The beer cheese was a bit clumpy. We tried a variety of the "specialty pizzas" the fig and balsamic was my absolute favorite and a great summer pizza. One had the gluten-free crust. It was a very good crust. We also fried the mushroom and goat cheese pizza. It was amazing, very balanced and tasty. I think I'd like this pizza better in the fall, but I certainly ate every bite! We ordered carry out here for the first time at the start of the pandemic, everything got horsed up, but the manager responded to my private message with apologies and a gift card. Fast forward many weeks later and another chance to give it a try. WOW! Am I glad we did. I decided to finally try a cauliflower crust and a pizza a little outside the box-Apples In Italy, honestly best pizza I've had in just about ever. Who'd of thought apples on a pizza with a cauliflower crust would be so amazing! We also ordered 2 other pizzas and a sandwich and it was all excellent, service was quick and great! I pay like $30 a month for the VIP and this location refuses to honor the benefits. Don't be tricked into their membership. It's a total rip off. Buyer beware, I will be cancelling my membership. Really disappointing to feel cheated out of your money by a local business you're trying to support. I come here regularly for lunch. The $10 pizza/salad special is FANTASTIC. The salad is a proper one, not just some old Iceberg lettuce out of a bag. Everything is fresh, and honestly I'm mostly full after eating it. There is a good selection of specialty pizzas, both red and white sauce. They, too, are sizable. We've been eagerly awaiting the opening of this restaurant, so when we finally got the chance to stop in for lunch, we weren't surprised to see a lot of people already there. The hostess said we could grab a high-top table in the bar area or wait a few minutes for a table. We opted for the high-top and sat down. The table was near the big windows and the sun was at just the right spot to make it impossible to face the windows - they have a film on them, but they may want to invest in some shades that can be pulled down in the afternoon. It will keep the space cooler and allow people to sit facing the window without going blind. We waited for a server to stop by and take drink orders and give us menus. And we waited. And we waited. The whole time, there were tons of servers walking past our table - we weren't sure who the server was for our area but after sitting there completely ignored for more than ten minutes, I finally flagged down the next server to walk by. They seemed a little annoyed but sent over the guy who had been working the other high-tops. He was friendly and got us our drinks and menus. There is a good selection of items, and I chose a personal sized pizza. It was tasty, and the drink was good. My dining partner was a bit disappointed in the beer selection (ironically) - he's always looking for a good, hazy NEIPA but there were no options that day. Overall it was good food, but I was a little put off by the delays in service. We would go back again if we are in the area, and hopefully they will have ironed out all the kinks so they don't have guests sitting and waiting for someone to help them. read more

My wife and I have been fans of MCBC for several years now, ever since they opened in Martin City, so we were STOKED when we heard Lee's Summit was getting a location. I literally took a day off work to enjoy their awesome lunch special. We have already visited twice since they opened less than a week ago and love it. Good beers, not my favorite local brewery, but still solid. I like that they are continuously working to improve and try new brews. The pizza is my favorite in Kansas City. Perfect wood-fired crust, a good blend of both traditional and unique toppings, lots of cheese, and man I love that chili oil! They even sell bottles of the oil, so you can go home and put it on everything! So glad to have this spot in Lee's Summit! read more

The food not only looks good it tastes great! Stopped in on Saturday with a group of eight. We ordered two large supreme pizzas and one small chicken with pesto. I watched so many salads come out of the kitchen that I decided to have the Cobb, it was great! Everyone enjoyed the pizza. As a brewer of their own beer they only offer their beer on tap. The selection of MCPT beers is fairly diverse. I had the Peanut Butter and the Belgium Abbey Ale. The interesting taste of the peanut butter was that the peanut taste did not linger in your mouth, it was quick and full but no aftertaste. It's very loud inside so your conversation can become tough with a large group. The ownership group has done a great job with the launch of this new location. read more

Loud music. The crust on this is thick similar to Pie Five's classic pan. It can hold a lot of toppings but it's tough and chewy when reheated later or left out too long. I prefer a soft bite but it was worth the try. If you don't like thick crust everything else they cook is great so far. read more

All I can say is, WOW! I can't believe we live so close to this gem and had never been. My sister-in-law and I decided to try it for an evening out, and I am so happy we did. The service was excellent. I had the sangria and it was perfect paired with my Fig and Prosciutto pizza. THIS pizza is one for the books, folks! The flavors, sweet from the fig jam with the salty prosciutto, was nothing short of amazing. Definitely going to be one of those "craving" meals. We also had the brussel sprouts appetizer, and they were perfectly cooked with bacon and onion, and even better left over the next day :) Can't wait to return! read more
