Came for happy hour with a group and had a marvelous time. Met the new owner and he mentioned how strict he is with kitchen cleanliness...he has celiac and you had better belive he takes cross contamination seriously... I told him he ought to shout that from the rooftop because anyone sensitive or allergic to gluten always carries that concern. They are redoing their menu soon and you can expect great lunch items. I liked the friendly staff and the tasty pizza during my opening week dine-in lunch. My two topping 12" pizza (reasonably priced at $10) was served just ten minutes after I ordered at the bar. It was very good, with a crunchy, thin crust, plenty of toppings, plenty of cheese and a tasty sauce. The service was friendly, but still getting up to speed on their second day of operation. I noticed an L- shaped bar, rollup garage doors, a patio, seven TVS, an electronic jukebox and uplifting contemporary background music. They offer a happy hour 3-6 PM Mon-Thu and 3-8 PM Fri with a breakfast menu coming next week. Very nice. read more

The server hustled and smiled and made this tepid evening truly worthwhile. My spinach & chicken pizza was nearly flavorless, the appetizer completely forgotten and we had to go get our own to go box for half a pizza. Also I ordered a 7" pizza on the menu but 'We don't have a 7" pizza any more. We sent the appetizer back as offered since we were literally leaving due to a crazy-she-reminded-chef-twice long delay appetizer delay. Sorry. Our system possibly glitched and so chef had no app ticket maybe? Then. Sorry it's still not out. The repeat order may have been stuck under another one? The band was fine. I don't like this place. A group of friends and I stopped here after a show (maybe around 10pm) and the single member of staff that we saw and interacted with seemed very unhappy for us to be there, despite the fact that they were open until 1am. Some of our party was permitted order food but the other half never even got to order drinks. We ended up leaving and driving to the Overland Park Whataburger. Honestly, this place is a waste of time and doesn't have very nice staff. We literally had to chase the guy down to be allowed to pay. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Went with some friends for music bingo on Tuesday. The entertainment was great, our whole party had so much fun playing. The menu was just a piece of paper that had seen its better days. Quite a few items were crossed out, fried pickles and a few others, I don't know if they were permanently off the menu or just had a supply issue. They were also out of hamburgers the night we went, which was really what I wanted to order. Our table just ended up getting different fried appetizers that were available. Food that I tried was good, but nothing special. Frozen cheese curds deep fried with a side of ranch. In summary, my friends and I plan to come back for the entertainment and drinks, but until they get their menu figured out, have items we wanted to order available, probably won't order food again unless just want a snack while playing. read more

So excited to have a neighborhood bar back in this spot! I love the new layout with the garage windows and the wraparound bar. The staff is friendly and they've already acquired a good number of regulars. We stopped in just to check it out and had loaded nachos (very good!) and a drink. The menu looks solid and we will be back to check out some other items. Prices looked reasonable for burgers, salads, sandwiches and wraps. Just picked up my food from China Dragon to watch the manager who yelled at me and made me move my car from in front of the Limit last time I needed to run in and grab Chinese. This man parked directly in front of China Dragon to go into work at the Limit. Not cool. read more

My wife and I stopped by for a quick bite and drink before heading home for the day. There were eight (8) people in the bar when we arrived and sat at the bar but I loved the inside/outside bar ambiance. The bartender asked for our drink order...I ordered a draft beer (could've been colder) and my wife a chardonnay (not chilled). Eventually my wife ordered a whiskey on the rocks as her second drink. We placed our food order (pizza and burger)...waited what seemed more than a reasonable amount of time, pizza looked good however my tots were lukewarm. Bartended didn't provide us silverware nor did she stick around long enough to ask if there was anything else we needed. Again, she went back to the back of the restaurant to talk with another employee and never came back to ask if we needed more drinks (my beer was empty) or how the food was. We finally got her attention to get our bill. And this is where the story gets epic. The bill arrives. We were charged for having ice in her whiskey (2.00) and was not provided the discount for pizza (there's a discount on Saturdays). So, we provided our credit card and, after processing, realized we were charged 2.9% for using the credit card. Sorry, but that's the cost of doing business. So, in summary, bad service, charged for ice and credit card usage and wasn't provided a food discount. How was the food? It really didn't matter by the time we left...and we won't be back. We've tried most of the bars/restaurants at the Red Bridge shopping center and the only place we'll keep visiting is Caleb's as they serve a great breakfast. It's quite unfortunate...there's a lot of competition for our dining dollars and I just don't feel The Limit tried very hard to have us come back. read more

We had a great first experience here. The service was friendly, the garage doors that open to the outside are fantastic, the vibe was chill, and the food was great. We got the chips and queso to start, and then we finished with a BLT to share. Both came out hot and were delicious! Food is fair. Service is hit or miss. What got me yesterday was the owner/manager shouting over seated tables to tell people picking up Chinese a few shops down to move their cars. I get that if you are crowded, but there were just 2 tables seated and tons of available parking for the Limit. The shared lot was full for other businesses, and none of them have specified spots as their own. Bad vibes. I'll think long and hard before returning to the Limit. read more

Ran out of hamburger buns. Ordered coleslaw only to find out they were out of it. Also Connor dashed off before I had an opportunity to order a drink but was charged for a drink anyway . I told him I did not have a drink. He said I know but was still charged for it on my the ticket. Took a long time to get menus. Kitchen was very slow. The burger however was very good. read more

Came here for a happy hour. The sign says domestic draws $3. Get my bill and find out that my beer, Yuenglung does NOT count as a domestic draw. Literally every other beer on the tower is a " domestic" including EU owned "Mulvanies". Ruben had high reviews, but I found it dry and over cooked. read more

We had lunch at The Limit a few days ago and it was excellent! Compliments to the chef...they had been open for business only a few days and our food (Reuben and Fish/Chips) were really quite delectable. And don't get me started on the portion sizes! Food was good had large chicken tenders also tater toes ! One of my friends got the Reuben sandwich, all my friends liked what they got off the menu ! The service was good !
