This is a hidden gem. The bartender Bri is FANTASTIC. She made a pineapple drink called Dextini and it might be my new all time favorite. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich and it was great as well. I wasn't expecting the amount of meat in the side salad, but it was good too. I will most definitely be back!

I had a great experience at Ava Rae's. It was my first time in and immediately noticed the sports /local/public service decor. It immediately looked like they support local and those in the public service sector which is great to see. Their bar runs along one side with ample seating and the tables along with the kitchen are on the other side running like a long hallway. It made it easy to get around and choose seating. I love getting to sit at the bar and get to know the staff. Hayley was the one who served me and she was knowledgeable and helpful regarding food and drinks. There is a pineapple vodka drink as well that is so refreshing. The pizza, salad, and philly was delicious. The spicy chicken alfredo pizza was cooked to my liking and the toppings were loaded. The salad has a great garlic ranch dressing if you like garlic. We also ordered beer on the daily special and a cocktail which was nice and sweet with some glitter!

It's coming up on the 1 year anniversary for Ava Rae's. Let me tell you that have with out a doubt got this thing dialed in. Way to go team Ava Rae's. I knew back in day you had some unreasonable reviews. It takes time. We think that things should be on point from the start. You had to grow and learn. I must say you got it. Pizza was delicious. The beef sandwich I had was perfect. Like I was in Chicago. The salad dressing is like the best thing ever. THC drinks. And old fashion that was top 10 in KC metro. Keep up the great work!! Will always be back for a game or just like a lunch on a Saturday. Check out the tvs and the sweet set up they have!!

We ordered through DoorDash and unfortunately were pretty disappointed. The food arrived cold, the flavors were bland/sub-par, and the pasta sauces were extremely watery. The kids' portions were also surprisingly small. Sadly not somewhere we'd order from again.

The food and beers are delicious, the service is excellent, and this is the place to watch a game.

We've been hitting this place up for lunch when we're in Olathe and we want to make the second half of our day more difficult with a heavy delicious meal. We can't help but order something not conducive to heavy skilled labor when we're here for lunch and the server happily obliges. The sandwiches are great. The pizza is good. The sauces they use are awesome. The server during lunch hour is great. I've heard the beers are great and they have a great selection but I wouldn't know and I got a ride to the location in any case (they have great beer, no drafts, all cans, cold pint glasses, it's good) This place is great for lunch. A slice and a delicious house salad with house made dressing for $12 isn't bad.

    Sports televisions galore.

Second time visiting and just as impressed as the first! The chicken alfredo sub with jalapeños was outstanding--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The salad and chips were crisp and tasty, and even the box wine was surprisingly good. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable, which makes it an easy choice for a return visit. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, and I really liked that the kitchen is fully visible--you can see the staff running things in a smooth, professional way. The vibe is energetic but comfortable, with tons of TVs showing sports from every angle and a huge full bar staffed by friendly, attentive servers. Altogether, this place delivers on food, atmosphere, and service. Definitely a spot worth coming back to--already looking forward to the next visit!

This place gives a damn. The second you walk in, you feel it--clean space, sunlight pouring in, and an open kitchen you can actually see into. Love that. I don't want secrets--I want to see your line cooks hustling. That's honest. The bar is long and stacked, with local beers, a strong whiskey lineup, and yes, they'll smoke your scotch if you ask. There's firefighter gear on the walls, but it's not a theme--it's lived-in pride. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately with a margarita special. Solid pour. Lightly sweet, bright, could use a bit more tequila character, but still refreshing. Bonus points for the local taps--makes you feel like your city's in the glass. Then came the pizza rolls, and they blew the doors off. Crispy shell, fluffy interior, loaded with cheese. It's like a mozzarella stick and a Detroit-style dough had a baby. The marinara? A little too tomato-forward, not enough depth. But THEN--bartender slides over a housemade garlic sauce and everything changed. That sauce? Creamy. Raw. Aggressive in the best way. Garlic-forward like it knows it's the main character. 2oz isn't enough. I'd buy it by the pint. Bottom line: Made-from-scratch food Real service Flavors that hit hard And those pizza rolls? Unfair in the best way.

Went there recently with the fam and was not impressed. Both pizzas we tried felt pre-made and weren't great. The crust on the bottom was soft. We also tried the garlic cheese bread, and there was no garlic/butter toasting and the not so great and not very much cheese was barely melted. For the 2 pizzas, garlic bread and a caprese salad it was $80. That didn't include drinks. It took awhile for anyone to stop by to take our order. After the food was delivered no one ever stopped by to ask how things were going or if everything was ok.

But you're coming for the beer, and the beer is really great. Limitless has gone from a location in a light office park to its own standalone building, complete with patio and plenty of space. There are generally half a dozen or more of their own craft brews on tap ranging from IPA through porter/stout. You may have even had some of their flagship beers elsewhere, such as JoCo Juice, a hazy IPA or Rolling in the Deep, a double New England IPA. I myself go for malt over hop, so I find their Marzen to be one of my favorite beers. If they have their Mexican lager on tap, then I also suggest sampling that as well. A flight of four runs you $14-ish and is a great value, as the sample sizes give you plenty of opportunity to really get a feel for their offerings. If you find something you really like, then you can take four-packs home to go in cans. Limitless is open almost every day, at least until 7:00 and when the weather is nice, the patio was a must do. There are frequently people playing a board game or just enjoying the space, and while I don't want this to be just another noisy space, they could do with maybe a TV or two more. But that is just me being picky and since they are in the neighborhood, I like visiting whenever I can.

You'll find it right across the street from 3&2 Baseball's west complex. If there is youth baseball in the nicer months, then you can bet that some of those sluggers will matriculate across the street in search of lunch or dinner with families in tow. And with good reason, because Callahan's offers something for just about every palate. I would suggest sampling their BBQ, of which the menu is not vast but what they do, they do really well. The K-7 Combo is one of my favorites, a brisket & sliced sausage sandwich with a house BBQ sauce (or even the K-10, which subs in pulled pork for the sausage). Really good entrée and pairs just right with some of their sides, like a house potato salad or smoked beans. The wing game is pretty strong here, featuring a sweet & spicy glaze called the Honey Badger. It's not too sweet and not too spicy and sits nicely atop their twice-done wings. A basket of wings (8) runs $13.50 and that's a fairly good meal without a side. The kids' menu has plenty of the usual suspects, but Callahan's also does thin crust pizza from scratch and knocks those out of the park. I'd suggest the Big 8, which is their version of a 'supreme', and that's enough for at least two people, or maybe one teenager. Local knowledge: if you just want a side, then I'd suggest their sweet potato fries. Cut in-house and super crispy, and a basket alone is a phenomenal choice. Service is always friendly and quick and check the specials on the board as you come in. There are TVs in almost every direction, because sportsball, and there is not a bad seat in the place. The patio faces west and is open in nicer weather, and the bar has plenty of seating if you just want a solo spot.
