I called repeatedly to make post-op appointment and wasn't able to be seen for a week. I was in HORRIBLE pain for seven days, went to the ER in the meantime, where the doctor on duty confirmed that dry socket was the cause of my pain, and was very empathetic. He told me I needed to be seen by Dr. Rothschild, ASAP. I finally got an appointment with him and he told me "those people at the ER don't know what they're talking about." I was in his office for maybe five minutes, where he had ZERO sympathy for the awful pain I was in, even as I was crying. I asked him what I could do to alleviate the pain and he had no answer for me. My boyfriend called the office one day shortly after my surgery to ask for any advice on pain relief and one of the assistants told him that my surgery was more complicated than usual, which I wasn't made aware of, and wouldn't have been, if it wasn't for my boyfriend calling the office. Bottom line: I would not recommend anyone in need of oral surgery to David Rothschild. His demeanor and wrinkles are telltale signs of his need for a retirement home.

I was approved for implants and I made the decision ( horrific as can be ). The first thing that I noticed , was the time for removal of my teeth , went far beyond the timeframe that was allocated. For the next 9-10 months, I suffered from HORRIBLE black tar diarrhea! After complete silence from the office, I finally went to the hospital because I had I had LOST 70 lbs! The E.R in Middlebury , told me to I was ingesting alot of blood and both nasal cavities were severely punctured. Enough blood that was most likely responsible for the 70 lbs of weight loss. As you could imagine, I was very reluctant to return but after 2-1/2 years, I finally recovered enough , to get the job completed. I truly cannot believe ,that I was treated so terribly ! I think the problem was , the V.A hired a Cost cutting Dental Technician who shut down this specific clinic because he told me he couldn't allow this clinic to "rip off the V.A. This badly ". I spoke to him on the phone and agreed initially that maybe he was correct but I just wanted what they stated to be completed!! I showed up to this clinic and was immediately addressed with information that I didn't have any uber / or taxi to SIT IN THE LOBBY and WAIT FOR THE ENTIRE PROCEDURE TO BE COMPLETED!! The time estimate was estimated between 2-3 HOURS! ARE THEY INTENTIONALLY BEING REAL??? #1... There is NO WAY anyone would do this without any prior knowledge!! I then asked " why was it O.K. for my teeth to be removed without a baby sitter sitting in the waiting room the entire time?? I repeatedly asked " why was it acceptable for me to call the Uber driver to drive me back to my hotel w/o having to stay in the dentist waiting room the entire time instead of returning after the procedure was completed and THEN driving me to my waiting room?? I had already spent 300.00 dollars for the hospital room as it is!! This entire display of medical malpractice will be addressed through the state of VERMONT!! He started his plan... but ( I think he became angry with the cost cutter). I am paying the price to today!! I'm contacting the State of Vermont malpractice department for this mistreatment. His Office of misfits needs to be taught a lesson. I was in need of anesthesia ( as you can imagine ) but was told by one of Mrs Mengela assistant nurses that I "should just have it done without being put to sleep ". !
