From…read moreour first tour with the owner Ken, to the very last minute of our event, they made everything perfect! We knew Enchanted Ranch was our venue the second we stepped foot on the property. But we had no idea they would exceed all of our expectations and actually go so far out to make our day unimaginable! Ken was amazing to work with (I had so many questions and he never failed to respond so quickly to every single one) .We had the in house coordination, with Penjo and her team, and while it's "technically" day-of coordination and vendor stuff, she still communicated with me every step of the way. The day-of duo of Penjo and Madison were so amazing. They kept me calm and mostly stress free. I say mostly because the stress was not from them and from my family which they can't control haha. But they were always checking on me and making sure everything was going smoothly. Literally the dream team. We had the in house decor team set up and by golly was it beautiful. I was a little worried because I didn't get to see everything until we checked in on the day of, but again, everything exceeded all expectations. We had the in house DJ, Colby. What a great human honestly. Vibes were so high all night, I don't think there was a single second that the dance floor wasn't poppin. He also was in charge of the Photo Booth that was ALSO poppin all night lol. We had an open bar as well and the bartender and team were we quick and accommodating! Also friendly AF! Drinks were flowing, people were getting dowwwnnnn! The entire Enchanted Ranch team just really made our wedding day a dream. This is getting long, so I'll stop here. But if you're looking for a beautiful venue, with a team that actually cares about you, this is 10/10 the place to do your event!! We met with them twice prior to the date of the event to get a tour and learn more about the facility and to finalize all the details. This venue has a chapel (which we did not use) and a basement area (which is not entirely an underground basement). We only rented the bottom portion. The a/c felt wonderful on a hot August afternoon! The area had tables and chairs for us to use as well as a full sized kitchen and bathrooms. It also has a grooms room (which we used for the kids to watch tv) and a brides room ( which we used to hold our personal belongings and boxes). The venue also has a parking lot for guests to park. I highly recommend this venue to anybody who is looking for a smaller area such as for a baby shower, bridal shower, graduation party or smaller wedding. I believe it can seat 65-70 comfortably and possibly a little more snug. Bricks and Blossom is definitely a sweet hidden gem in Staples, Tx!

The unmatched natural beauty of Spring Lake was the perfect back drop to our ceremony on the water's edge at Sycamore Point. We rented the pretty white chairs for seating down there. One thing I would note about that site is that the walk from our ceremony to the dinner was a bit long for our elderly guests. We decided to hire a pedi-cab for a couple hours to shuttle folks around the park before and after the ceremony. I highly recommend this, or a golf cart, if you plan your ceremony for Sycamore Point. We rented out the glass-bottom boats for our guests, which made for a truly unique and memorable cocktail hour before dinner on the rooftop of the historic hotel (now the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment). They even let us use their tables and 50 chairs! (We did have to rent some extras for our large group). The staff was great and there was ample parking for our guests. As Bobcat Alumni, river-rats, and stewards of the planet, my husband and I couldn't be more thrilled to have shared this natural treasure with all the people we love. Wifi is spotty and the cable doesn't work. Asked when we first checked in and it was "being fixed." Night shift comes on and says it's been that way for 3 days. "Out of our hands" The standard ice water in lobby but no cups. Sad really. FF is usually really good. This one not so much. We switched to a "3 star" down road and it was much nicer and everything worked. I don't blame the staff. It's the owner/management to blame.
