I mistake it for someone's home because there's a few people inside and it looks awfully tiny to be a restaurant. Out of curiosity we walk into the building and upstairs where we've met by the backs of the members of a live jazz band. We have to walk past the band to get into the room and that alone almost stopped us from coming inside. However realizing that's the only way into we room we do. To our surprise in this room (think a studio apartment) there's a full bar and quite a few people. This room also held the members of the jazz band who were rotating themselves from bar to band every few songs. This is what you can find in the TheUpRoot every Thursday. Every other week there is a beautiful restaurant a floor below.

Wifi is spotty and the cable doesn't work. Asked when we first checked in and it was "being fixed." Night shift comes on and says it's been that way for 3 days. "Out of our hands" The standard ice water in lobby but no cups. Sad really. FF is usually really good. This one not so much. We switched to a "3 star" down road and it was much nicer and everything worked. I don't blame the staff. It's the owner/management to blame.

We were able to accommodate all 99 of our guests in the ballroom with room to walk through the tables. The building is so charming and both Clay and his helper were so helpful with everything we needed for this event. We had a slide presentation, a harpist playing and a social in the Garden Room before going into the Ballroom for the meal. The foyer is where the food was served and it allowed room on both sides of this foyer for food items. You won't go wrong using the Price Center for your next event! Clay and his staff work hard to make sure all your event needs are met!
