Even while waiting one day, another customer made the point to assure me that these guys know their stuff. Nick and his team (including the dog*) are very friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. The thing I appreciate most is that he remembers my name and the work done on my vehicle. That's impressive seeing as how I have only come in there three or four times in the past three years. Anyway, long story short, I reluctantly recommend Imperial (the more people know about it, the more business they'll get, and the harder it'll become to get my vehicle serviced quickly! lol). Spoke with Elam Muhammad who told me the price would be $250-$350 for the make & model of my vehicle. He told me "you do realize that holes would have to be put on the trunk of the car". I did not know that so that made me want to take time to think about if I wanted to get the work done. I thanked him and Will who also was there providing information. After doing some research checking the spoiler part that would need to be installed and also getting a second opinion at another body shop, I was shocked to find out that this part is installed using adhesive, no drilling needs to be done to install this part. I was really upset to find out that this place didn't even take the time to look up the part to find out how the install would be - just off the fly telling me that holes need to be drilled. So glad I didn't use them although they are nice and I also think black owned. I won't be back. Don't trust them.

The first…read moretime I had my car repaired there.\nUpon pick up , I noticed that the repaired section was not painted properly and was very rough to the touch and had no reflection. When I brought this to the attention of the shop and the owner, I was told that nothing was wrong. However, you could clearly see that the unrepaired portion of my car gave a mirror like reflection and the repaired part gave off no reflection at all, just a blurry image because it had not been properly buffed or sanded. After going back-and-forth repeatedly, one of the body repair guys came out and admitted that it had not been sanded properly before being released, so they eventually took it back in after much discourse. Flash forward about 4 years.I had another situation with the car and reluctantly went back to the same shop.Assuming that things would be okay and I wouldn't have any issues. Boy was I wrong when I brought the car in.I told the claim guy that there was damage underneath the vehicle that happened during the accident , but I had to have it temporarily repaired or else the car would not be drivable. There was a plastic fairing that covers the bottom of the car which had been ripped down and broken as a cause of the accident, which enabled the car undrivable, so I had it temporarily screwed up so that it would not drag the ground. after telling the C&O guy MULTIPLE times to make sure that that is part of the claim he neglected to do so. when I finally got the car back, the Fender was repaired. But nothing underneath the car had been repaired. And the same broken piece was still temporarily screwed in when I brought this to his attention, he denied that I ever told him about the broken part yet, I told him multiple times he then refused to have it fixed and demanded that I call State Farm to make another claim. But everything could have been fixed. Had he just Assessed it while we were there the first time. The bottom line is, i should not have to have an ongoing argument about things that you did not do or you neglected to do in the first place. I would not recommend this body shop to anyone EVER. find another place that works with the customer and isn't argumentative or lacks accountability.

Yesterday I was told to bring my Car in for repairs today [Thursday~12/21/23]. ALLSTATE arranged a loaner. When we arrived from Manhattan (Will County, IL) the Bldg was empty. I called the number to VISSER'S and was told it is a different Company and now located on Harlem Ave. I was told that I could not leave my Car there for repairs; come back after two (2) Months. Why didn't Emily tell me that a day before when we communicated via telephone? Great Inconvenience and I'm stuck with a $55 a day Loaner that ALLSTATE is not going to pay for. I wasn't going to leave my Mercedes there anyway that was bought new (and Customized in West Germany) that I only have 8,000 miles on today. I don't know these people or Facility. I've trusted VISSER'S for over 25 years with over 25 different Make/Model repairs on my Car Collection. CDE has POOR COMMUNICATION Skills. I'm not qualified to comment on the quality of their work.
