i love sol landscaping! they've been doing my yard at several different houses over the years. i highly recommend!

In the spring of 2023, after losing my wonderful landscapers of 20 years, I needed to find another company to maintain my home and the rental next door. Sol Landscaping was one of the companies who responded to my Yelp request for a big one-time cleanup and also a contract for once a month maintenance. Marisol and one of her workers showed up for the estimate and although there was a bit of a language issue, she seemed honest and sincere. She saw what needed to be done and gave me an estimate of about $3000. I thought the price was fair and hired them to do the spring cleanup. The maintenance price she quoted was $300 per visit. Before cleanup day, I marked with fluorescent paint the weedy areas and shrubs that need to be pruned out to make things easier, so there would be no mistakes (none of the workers spoke English, although I think they could understand it). The cleanup itself went very smoothly and they left the properties spotless. However, getting them to come out for a maintenance visit went the opposite way. Marisol wouldn't commit, and I called and texted several times to make an appointment. Finally she said they could fit me in the next day and I said okay. But no one showed up. When I called again, she said someone had gotten sick so they'd try again in a couple days. Again, a no-show. I finally gave up. It was apparent they were just happy to do the one big job and move on. I wanted to give two stars TBH for the frustration. But they did do the one big cleanup well. Unfortunately I am still on the hunt for a skilled landscaping maintenance company. read more

I asked them to dig up some weedy patches from my lawn, add compost, and reseed. They did all that, plus mowed and edged the yard, for less than half of what another company wanted for it. Great work! read more

Reached out to them for a quote on pavers and they responded right away. They gave me an appt the next day between 0900-1000am. On the day of the appt I waited around until 1020am and I messaged them to confirm if they were coming and crickets. no one replied back but I could see they read my messages. Pretty disappointed in the professionalism. read more

Sol and her team came out last minute to help remove 2 very large rhododendrons in my yard that kept getting my dog sick. She came out that day and took both big plants out. Super quick and efficient and such a good job cleaning up the remnants of the plants. Very knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction to get the root system to rot out. We had a pleasure meeting and working with Marisols team and we are very happy we went with them! One thing that stood out the most about working with them is Sols outstanding sense of customer service, she really stands out with how communicative she is and how she follows through with everything discussed! My husband and I had a baby and with a newborn had to really put off our gardening duties for our house, by the time we could catch up, it was just too overwhelming to do by ourselves. We had few people come out to give us quotes for de-weeding and mulching our large yard but went with Sol as we felt most comfortable with her team and because of how responsive she was and because they had great availability (another plus since not everyone was available as soon as we needed) overall the job was done professionally and they really put in their best effort to make our yard look beautiful again while providing helpful advice and suggestions along the way! Sol and Alex were great to work with - they were on time, had reasonable pricing, and were very easy to communicate with. They installed a French drain on the side of my house and placed a gravel walkway with pavers (that will eventually be extended), removed two trees and cleaned my driveway of leaves. I can't speak to their work as we never got that far. I reached out via Yelp to have them provide an estimate to redo my front yard. They were very responsive at first and suggested a day the following week. I was so excited! When the time for my appointment came they never showed up. The next day they reached out and suggested a new time. I let them know when I'd be available and haven't heard back since. It's now been a couple of weeks and I'm planning on reaching out to alternate companies. read more
